Ajay puts the document together and finds out that his real name is Ajay Malhotra and that his father, Dr. Ravi Malhotra, is still alive, serving a life sentence in prison for killing a patient and stealing the organs from the body. Ajay questions his mother and finds out that his dad was framed by the hospital owner, Rai Bahadur. He and Asha meet Ravi in prison and swear to avenge his humiliation. He and Raj then set out to collect evidence, unaware that Raj's dad, Dr. Sinha, was himself involved in Ravi's false conviction and will not hesitate in joining forces with Rai Bahadur to eliminate all possible evidence, and if necessary kill both Ajay and Asha.

Suraj tells his friend Vijay's brother Sanjay to check out the work on the Hotel as it is about to open in coming days. Vijay reaches the hotel after two days and finds that Sanjay is missing, the hotel is inaugurated upon arrival of Suraj, but strange things start to happen in hotel and one by whose involved in matter gets killed.

This is where he meets with Kajri and both rekindle their romance. Somen returns home, convinces his mom initially to approve of Kajri, and is pleasantly surprised to find that even his dad has given his approval. On the day of the marriage, Somen's world is turned upside down when his dad accuses Kajri of being a woman of ill repute as well as an unwed mother. The question remains: Are Bhushan's allegations true, and if so, will Somen accept Kajri now, or will he reject her and marry Kedar's daughter?

- Avtaar Krishen lives a poor lifestyle with his wife, Radha, and two sons, Ramesh and Chander. He works in a factory and toils hard so that his sons can get the necessary education, and live a better lifestyle. He gets injured and crippled while working, but is compensated adequately by his employer, Bawaji. Years later his sons have grown up. While Ramesh has married Sudha and works with a bank; Chander is wooing Renu, the only daughter of wealthy Seth Laxminarayan. When Avtaar and Radha wish to go on a tirathyatra (pilgrimage), they ask Ramesh to book tickets for them, but he tells them that he has no money. When Radha gets sick, their servant, Sewak, enters Sudha's room to get some money for her treatment, as a result Radha does get treatment, but Sudha blames them for stealing her money. Avtaar asks Ramesh and his wife to get out, only to find out that the house is now in Sudha's name. AVtaar, Radha and Sewak move out and live in a shanty hut. Their hopes are with Chander, who does well in his exams, decides to marry Renu, and moves out without financially assisting his parents. Now Avtaar and Radha are elderly and dependent on Sewak, and the question remains will they resign themselves to this existence, if not, what possibly can a crippled older male accomplish, especially at this time in his life?

- A singer (Rishi Kapoor) marries his biggest fan, but his uncle (Amrish Puri) plans to kill him in order to gain his money.
- After the tragic deaths of his son Ajit and daughter-in-law Rajni, Raja Saheb decides to educate his granddaughter Neelam in the city. But Anand is not who he claims to be: he is a snake who was kept in captivity by Tantrik Goraknath, who wants to possess a priceless diamond stone called "Mani", and Neelam is the only one who knows its location. And Goraknath, unlike his mentor, Bhairavnath, has ensured that no one will stand in his way when he obtains the Mani.
- A singer by profession, Suraj (Rajesh Khanna) gets stranded in resthouse in the coutnryside during a rainstorm. While there he experiences ununsual feelings, as if he has been there before. He feels himself transported to another time and era, to another birth, and drawn to a woman named Ratna (Hema Malini). He is unable to leave this experience behind him, and decides to find out what this means. He discovers that in his past life he was a Chief Singer in the emperor's court, his name was Prakash and he had fallen in love with a courtesan named Ratna, much to the chargin and anger of his family and the emperor's and his officials. They are tragically separated. He subsequently comes across a portrait of Ratna, and shortly after he meets a gypsy, Jhumri (also Hema Malini) who looks exactly like Ratna. Soon Jhumri is also able to recollect her past life, and her love for Prakash. This does not auger well with Rita Malhotra (Asha Sachdev) who loves Suraj, and Appa (Prem Chopra), the son of the leader of the gypsies (Madan Puri), who will not stop at anything to make Jhumri his wife. Appa steals the portrait, and instigates the gypsies against Suraj, so that he can marry Jhumri, and perhaps separate the two lovers again in this birth also.

- Ajay Chauvan lives with his parents and a younger sister. The case is then called up in a court of law where-by Ajay is found guilty and is sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. After completing his sentence Ajay return home only to find that nothing is the same anymore his dad and fiancée has committed suicide, his mother is living a destitute life while his sister loses her mental balance and is confined in a mental asylum prompting Ajay to start his own investigations with the help of a police officer whose daughter was one of the rape victims. After concluding his investigations Ajay is willing to leave no stone unturned in punishing the real perpetrators of the crime he was wrongly punish for.
