- ShortThe Final Bow feature documentary will be an exploration of the rich history of the New York City's Theatre training and rehearsal space, Shetler Studios. After 30 years serving the theatrical community 7 days a week, the famed studio was forced to close its doors due to the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic. "The Final Bow" will utilize archival footage, photos, and interviews, with a wide ranging cast of professionals, in order to tell the stories of those who over the last three decades have honed their skills and personally received coaching from Ron himself. The film will feature an exclusive interview with Ron Shetler and stands as the only documentary officially authorized by Shetler Studios. Ron Shetler had the innovative idea to bring to New York City's theatrical students and professionals alike, a place for teaching, acting, singing, auditioning, rehearsing, and performing, all under one roof, at an affordable cost for the creative community. It was not only an amazing place to study, but a nurturing and supportive place to be. Some of the most notable Broadway productions were perfected within the walls of Shetler Studios. There are so many stories that need to be told. We have assembled a talented roster of performers and production professionals who have committed to appear in "The Final Bow".
