- Dance talent show in which dancers of any age and dance style compete for a fifty thousand pound prize and the chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing (2004). Hosted by Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo.
- It's the final, with the last four acts going head to head to become the Greatest Dancer. The finalists have to perform twice, including special duets with their Dance Captains.
- In this live show all 12 acts dance to stay in the competition with the viewers deciding who will dance again next week. Each act must include a Best of British themed challenge in their routine. Special guests Diversity perform.
- The remaining 10 acts take to the stage for in the second live show. For tonight's theme we open the Props Box, where the objects they must handle range from ladders and canes to a chessboard.
- The 8 remaining acts perform incorporating the theme of Around the World, as each act is given a different location that must inspire their performance. The viewers at home decide who progresses to the next show.
- The remaining seven acts take on the theme of dance fusion, all hoping to make it through to next week's semi-final. Can contemporary dancers take on tap? Can street dancers embrace Bollywood?
- It's the Semi Final, with the 6 remaining acts all hoping to make it to next week's Final, and for the first time the Dance Captains decide the challenges for their acts.
- The final 3 (Little Mix, Amelia Lily and Marcus Collins) must sing with their mentors in the performance that will decide the winner of the X Factor 2011.
- Little Mix with their mentor Tulisa Contostavlos face Marcus Collins and his mentor, Gary Barlow, to decide who is crowned the 2011 X Factor Winner.
