- The story of Novos Baianos, one of the greatest Brazilian bands, mostly active during the 70s
- Grandpa's Bicycle has as its central theme the magical relationship between Grandpa Rui and his grandson Cauê, in situations that move between the real and the imaginary world, with great doses of playfulness and fantasy.

- The fish in the river that passes through the quilombola lands are showing up dead. Grandpa Rui and Fidelis go to investigate the cause of the deaths and discover that they are being caused by pesticides on Colonel Delano's farm.
- Cauê's vacation was abruptly interrupted, as Grandpa Rui had to be hospitalized. Some time later, Cauê returns to the farm and finds his grandfather in a wheelchair. Cauê simply sees the wheelchair as grandpa's bicycle.
- It's a party day at Dona Zilá's house, with lots of music and dancing. But Grandpa Rui remains quiet, he looks very sad with his new condition as a wheelchair user.
- A UFO crashes on the farm. Cauê is super excited about the possible presence of extraterrestrials. But Air Force technicians reveal that it is just an old satellite, space junk.
- It's been raining for three days at the Matita Perê farm, lots of lightning and thunder frighten Cauê and Dona Dete. There is no light on the farm and the night is lit only by the flashes of lightning.
- Cauê wastes food and is reprimanded by Vó Ita. Vô Rui collects garbage separated from the farm and takes his grandson to a garbage processing industry, where he receives a real lesson in recycling.
- Vô Rui and Vó Ita are visited by great friends who arrive at the farm with many grandchildren and nephews. Among the children is Ananda, a beautiful girl who makes Cauê's heart beat faster.
- Our land - Agrarian reform on Vô Rui's farm. The terrible colonel Delano and his henchmen invade the lands of the quilombolas, who ask for help from Vô Rui. Grandpa Rui faces Colonel Delano, who ends up running away. Grandpa Rui summons his employees and shares his land with them, carrying out his own agrarian reform. General Director: Henrique Dantas. - The family decides to spend a few days at a beach house. Grandpa Rui reveals that in his youth he almost drowned, but was saved by a surfer.
- The vacation ends and Grandpa Rui takes Cauê back to town. Grandpa Rui doesn't feel at all well in that environment, especially after arguing with a person who occupies the parking space reserved for wheelchair users.
