- Mrs. Business-man has an admirer, a foreign count, who admires while hubby works. The count gives the charming lady a valuable brooch, which she accepts. To keep hubby from knowing the source of the gift, she pawns it. Taking the pawn ticket to her husband, she tells him she found it, asking him to get it out of pawn. Hubby does, and seeing its beauty, decides to give it to his stenographer, whom he greatly admires. To deceive his wife he purchases a cheap brooch in its place. This he offers his wife, who can say nothing. To do so would disclose her plot. But she clenches her pearly teeth and resolves to get even. Meantime hubby, who stands in strongly with the stenographer, has made a date to go walking with her. But vengeance is near. Wiley and the count, hubby and the taker of dictation all meet in the park. In the mix-up which follows hairpins fly. Everybody takes an involuntary bath in the park lake.
- Hubby is a prize winner-flirter and Wifie is wise. Also Miss Beauty Eyes across the areaway doesn't care for Hubby's attentions. Wifie and Beauty Eyes get together and invent a scheme to cure Hubby of his flirting. Just when he thinks he is motoring with Beauty Eyes, Hubby finds himself dragged into an asylum and locked up. Then Wifie relents and helps Hubby escape. Free again, he takes to the woods while a reward of $500 is posted for his capture. In his ramblings he meets a couple of campers. Each one wants the reward, and is suspicious of the other. Tricky Hubby's actions incriminate them all, and all are taken to the asylum in much humiliation. There Wifie and Beauty Eyes appear and a bunch of funny explanations sets everything aright. Hubby is "cured."
- Tessie and Bessie are two lovely roommates who are threatened with eviction when they don't pay their rent. They read a newspaper ad about the hiring of female police officers. They rush to the police station and are hired immediately. On their way home in uniform they are the object of attention from all the men they pass. Bachelors keep approaching the girls one by one. Annoyed, the girls give each of the men a job to do: for Mike--mending; for Tom--mowing the lawn; for Terence--watering the garden; and for Jack and Harry--repainting the girls' apartment. But all good things must come to an end and the film concludes with pandemonium.
- Percy's uncle is 80 years old and becoming more and more cranky and eccentric. But since the uncle has a large fortune, Percy (the sole heir) is forced to obey the uncle's every whim. For example, one day the uncle reads a newspaper article that tells of a place in the Southwest where one can recapture one's youth by drinking the local water. Percy, disgusted with his uncle's folly, falls asleep and dreams that the uncle went to the magical town and drank the water--restoring the uncle's youth, muscles, and appetite. In the dream, the uncle becomes very aggressive and he eats everything he sees. The uncle continues to regress all the way back to becoming... a monkey! Then Percy wakes up.
