- The story of a 15-year-old high school student, Ikeuchi Aya, who soon discovers she has an incurable disease that affects the cerebellum of the brain. Aya lived her life to the fullest until her death at 25.

Despite seeming weak and unreliable (he gets very seasick, and does not have a driving license), he wins over the skeptical islanders with his skill and dedication. Some children of the island make a flag for his clinic, but get his name wrong. Thereafter he is known by all as Koto.
- Yuji is a twenty year old boxer who makes ends meet by working part-time at a flower shop. Although he works beside her everyday, he hides a deep affection for Kaori, the manager of the shop. Tohko is a sincere and active young woman that works at a local crepe shop. Her initial meeting with Yuji in a video store ends quickly with both ridiculing the other's video selections. However, Tohko notices him training in the park and falls in love with him instantly after seeing this serious and determined side of Yuji. Her persistence brings her to his debut-boxing match, but as she cheers for him she soon realizes his heart belongs to Kaori.
- Takako Mamiya is a lawyer who quits her job at a prestigious law firm and establishes her own office. Although Haruka was puzzled and confused by such unexpected situation, she gradually discovers the hidden talent and attraction in herself and aims seriously to become a genuine idol. A success story about a young lady who realizes the "real" side of herself with the support of the unique people surrounding her.
- Part 1 of "Six Graves Village". A hotel owner approaches Ueda, concerned that one of his guests dies on January 11th each year. Ueda and Naoko travel out to the hotel at Six Graves Village to solve the mystery.
- Yamada and Ueda are approached by a construction manager from Kisamura village. There are plans to construct a major highway through the woods near Kisamura, but no-one leaves those woods alive. A sorcerer from the Southern islands is reported to live there, so Yamada and Ueda must investigate.
- People are dying violently and everyone is growing mysterious hair from unusual places. Who is doing the killing? Can it really be the sorcerer? As the body count starts to rise, it falls to Satomi to solve the mystery.
- Part 2 of "Six Graves Village". The villagers of Six Graves believe that the deaths which occur each January 11th are caused by vengeful spirits of wounded warriors. Naoko and Ueda are not so sure about that.

- Part 2 of "The 100% Accurate Fortune Teller". Yoshiko Suzuki, the fortune teller, seems to possess extraordinary powers, even to the point of being able to warp time itself. Naoko and Ueda remain unconvinced.
- Part 3 of "The 100% Accurate Fortune Teller". Naoko is dared by Yoshiko to drink a glass of water, with a 33% chance that it contains poison. The mystery of Yoshiko's power is solved.
- "Psi-trailer", part 1. Yamada and Ueno are approached by Mr. Okamoto. He wants them to check the psychic abilities of Mr. Fukami of the Parapsychology Academy. Fukami claims to be a psi-trailer, someone who can trace missing people. Three years ago, Okamoto's fiancee got into a strange taxi and was never seen again. Three other women also went missing around the same time. Once Fukami brings his powers to bear, the bodies of three of the women are quickly discovered, but not Okamoto's fiancee.
- "Psi-trailer" part 2. Okamoto falls to his death, apparently killed by spirits of the dead, but his death reveals a clue. Yamada uncovers a web of secret family ties, debts and deception, but will she be able to claim the 10 million yen reward?
- A young boy appears to be able to call on God to damn people. Ueda is asked by Emi to investigate her cousin's death. This was apparently a result of God's judgment after she asked the boy to punish her cousin following a minor disagreement. Ueda, smitten by Emi's charms, is unable to refuse. But when he approaches Naoko to assist him, she is already involved in an investigation of her own.
- Naoko is suspected of murder. Photographs that she took show evidence that link both her and Ueda's investigations. The true cause of "God's damnation" is revealed. And is the lovely Emi all that she appears to be?
- After an unfortunate incident where a collision with the President leaves him flat on his back, new employee Sawako Tsukahara is demoted to the GA2 (Shomuni) department. Will she be able to cope with her new colleagues?
- Tsukahara's still finding life in GA2 tough, but when dashing billionaire's son Mr Ukyo joins Manpan, things start to look up. Until, that is, Tsukahara mistypes the date for one of Ukyo's important meetings.
- Rie predicts that a "purple moth" is coming. Meanwhile, Manpan has started a cost-cutting exercise and the girls of GA2 ensure that all other departments stick to their budget, no matter what. This is not well received.
- Ume's attitude is a major problem for GA2. During Manpan's medical examinations, diagnosis of a terminal case of liver cancer spreads panic, but who is the unlucky employee?
- Someone in GA2 is pregnant, but who? Tsukahara's father arrives at Manpan but is mistaken by Terasaki and Nonomura for an irascible shareholder. When he leaps to the wrong conclusion after receiving news of the pregnancy, chaos ensues.
- After the death of Manpan's Chairman, excitement rises amongst the directors as they jockey for position to be the next company President. A small, irritating, soccer-mad boy takes a shining to Chinatsu.
- A business protégé approaches Manpan for two reasons. Firstly, he wants to go into partnership in a mutual venture. He also wants to find one of the company's female employees, who he met some time ago, falling in love at first sight.
- Horoscope fever hits Manpan and it's all down to Rie's magazine column of predictions. It seems that even Rie can't escape fate when she finds her own destiny becoming entwined with that of Terasaki.
- A burglar is on the prowl and GA2 are co-opted into security duty. They discover a very nervous interviewee and offer advice. Meanwhile, the annual poetry competition gets underway, but can anyone stop Nonomura from retaining his crown?
- Manpan has received threatening faxes, so security measures are implemented. Terasaki and Nonomura have been tasked with matchmaking Ukyo to a family friend of the president, but he's already handcuffed to Chinatsu and there's no key.
- A massive theft from Manpan's San Diego branch leaves the company open to a take-over bid by the Sameshima group, who want something in the Manpan building. How can GA2 find it first, when they don't even know what they're looking for?
- Ume's Arabic language skills lead to her being transferred to the Overseas Department. Meanwhile, GA2 must become cheerleaders to support Manpan's Tug-Of-War team and a visitor's wandering hands become too much for the secretaries to bear.
