It was on shaky grounds after Mulder left...well, somewhat left...but the first six-seven seasons were the best ever.

5. Lost (2004–2010)

The end implied that it was all a collective shared dreamlike experience or whatever, but up until that moment, this one kicked all others' @$$!

6. How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014)

Friends got boring after a while, but this one never gives you a reason to invoke the Lemon Law.

7. Castle (2009–2016)

Nathan Fillion gets his much deserved break, and a chance to go all out with his charm. Can't imagine anyone else playing Castle. Nice stories and a unique concept. Good entertainment.

A perfect role for DD and a welcome sight after the X-files. Hank Moody is to male sex what Fight Club is to male aggression, IMHO.

9. The Sopranos (1999–2007)

10. The Walking Dead (2010–2022)

Awesome hi-tech gore with a decent storyline. Vampires and Zombies have been so overdone in all media, but something like this series gives it the much needed rejuvenation.

11. Firefly (2002–2003)

Awesome story-lines and a great cast. Although the love part is a bit overdone, everything else about it is cool.

Clearly inspired by 300 in every way but stands upright in its own right. Loved the season finale; no melodrama, no cliffhangers, just pure simple mayhem!

Very well made, with great story, great actors and great sets. But if you have read the books it is based on, the number of major deviations from the books can be frustrating.
