There are 100s and 1000s of science fictions films. But only certain are good and watchable. Of which, only few are really very good. And you can actually number out those that are unique. That's exactly what I have done in this list.

Another film that talks of how worse humans are. No cynical attitude but this movie talks of what is true about humanity, when in the end one of apes read a parchment of the ape religion. Most unique imagination and characterisation.

Votes: 127,818 | Gross: $34.60M

One all time favourite and totally fantastic plot. This best film in cloning subject is always underrated and rejected in sci fi lists all over the internet. With Arnold donning the man of action, with a fantastic plot twist there needs to be no more explaination

4. Total Recall (1990)

R | 113 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

Director: Paul Verhoeven | Stars: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sharon Stone, Michael Ironside, Rachel Ticotin

Votes: 353,980 | Gross: $119.39M

The best ever film made about Mars. And the best part is it stars Arnold. There cannot be a better depiction of how a futuristic martian colonization would be, complete with oxygenation, transport, clubs, pubs and private companies.

5. Forbidden Planet (1956)

G | 98 min | Adventure, Sci-Fi

80 Metascore

Director: Fred M. Wilcox | Stars: Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, Leslie Nielsen, Warren Stevens

Votes: 53,117 | Gross: $3.00M

Yet another fantastic space opera made so beautifully. Simple plot with comedies and very creative special effects. With Shakespeare's The Tempest adopted to a space-opera setting, and Robby the Robot making a cool job this movie rocks.

6. Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956)

Approved | 80 min | Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi

92 Metascore

A small-town doctor learns that the population of his community is being replaced by emotionless alien duplicates.

Director: Don Siegel | Stars: Kevin McCarthy, Dana Wynter, Larry Gates, King Donovan

Votes: 54,659

One more unique film in black-and-white. There can be nothing better than a fast paced adventure and this one mixes it with sci-fi. None of its remakes live up this original breathtaking film.

7. Fantastic Voyage (1966)

PG | 100 min | Adventure, Sci-Fi

72 Metascore

Votes: 20,800

This is one film that lives up to the meaning of the word 'unique'. There can be no film that's even slightly similar to this one. Very appealing and realistic special effects and stunning idea made so beautifully

8. Avatar (2009)

PG-13 | 162 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

83 Metascore

Director: James Cameron | Stars: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez

Votes: 1,385,129 | Gross: $760.51M

Nothing needs to be said about this sci-fi masterpiece. With Cameron's direction and stunning special effects, this movie is definitely unique. Pandora, a home away from home, a really cool moon with the even more cool Na'vi people this is definitely one of the best sci-fis of all time.

9. Minority Report (2002)

PG-13 | 145 min | Action, Crime, Mystery

80 Metascore

John works with the PreCrime police which stop crimes before they take place, with the help of three 'PreCogs' who can foresee crimes. Events ensue when John finds himself framed for a future murder.

Director: Steven Spielberg | Stars: Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, Max von Sydow

Votes: 583,696 | Gross: $132.07M

Another story of a self-fulfilling prophecy, with precise forecasting of the future adopted to crime fighting. Basic concept and plot twists and turns sets this film at an entirely different level than the rest, leave alone Tom Cruise.

10. The Thirteenth Floor (1999)

R | 100 min | Mystery, Sci-Fi, Thriller

36 Metascore

A computer scientist running a virtual reality simulation of 1937 becomes the primary suspect when his colleague and mentor is murdered.

Director: Josef Rusnak | Stars: Craig Bierko, Gretchen Mol, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Vincent D'Onofrio

Votes: 77,185 | Gross: $15.50M

One of the all time underrated movies even in imdb. This film has the potential to stun a viewer merely with a dramatic story pace. Not many drama movies do a good job as this one. Far far better than matrix this one takes the cake.

11. Doom (2005)

R | 105 min | Action, Horror, Sci-Fi

34 Metascore

Space Marines are sent to investigate strange events at a research facility on Mars but find themselves at the mercy of genetically enhanced killing machines.

Director: Andrzej Bartkowiak | Stars: Karl Urban, Rosamund Pike, Dwayne Johnson, Deobia Oparei

Votes: 118,612 | Gross: $28.21M

A very unique film truly. What makes it totally unique is its militaristic feel set in the backdrop of a science experiment lab. Unlike its game counterpart it does not feature any fantasy based elements like Hell. Instead it relies totally on science with its crowning factor being the First Person Shooter scene in the end. Good plot line adds value too.

12. Jurassic Park (1993)

PG-13 | 127 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

68 Metascore

A pragmatic paleontologist touring an almost complete theme park on an island in Central America is tasked with protecting a couple of kids after a power failure causes the park's cloned dinosaurs to run loose.

Director: Steven Spielberg | Stars: Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough

Votes: 1,065,295 | Gross: $402.45M

One film that made a lot of heads turn towards it. Not just beating the then world record for highest box-office gross, this film gave a new meaning to prehistoric creatures. Never before have dinosaurs and other creatures have been made more realistically than this sci-fi fantasy and no other film has ever made it to a fantastic success as this breathtaking adventure. All of the films in the series are evergreen masterpieces

13. Alien (1979)

R | 117 min | Horror, Sci-Fi

89 Metascore

The crew of a commercial spacecraft encounters a deadly lifeform after investigating a mysterious transmission of unknown origin.

Director: Ridley Scott | Stars: Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, John Hurt, Veronica Cartwright

Votes: 948,866 | Gross: $78.90M

Though followed by numerous (not as good) sequels, this original movie that started it all should never be forgotten. The whole story set inside a spaceship (except for a brief visit to a planet), watching this sci fi masterpiece is a truly fantastic ride. Unique ideas include the alien having acid for blood, face-hugging as a means of reproduction, tearing apart the stomach of the victim to release and more and more.

14. Starship Troopers (1997)

R | 129 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

52 Metascore

Humans, in a fascist militaristic future, wage war with giant alien bugs.

Director: Paul Verhoeven | Stars: Casper Van Dien, Denise Richards, Dina Meyer, Jake Busey

Votes: 320,644 | Gross: $54.81M

One more unequaled film with military feel. Though it starts nostalgic references to college life and military government it is much more. It talks of a man's feelings before and during military life. Also, it talks of how relationships could change after passing out of college and getting to do some serious work. With the alien bugs giving a good plot line in another direction, this is one truly original piece unlike its sequels.

15. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)

PG | 136 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

51 Metascore

Two Jedi escape a hostile blockade to find allies and come across a young boy who may bring balance to the Force, but the long dormant Sith resurface to claim their original glory.

Director: George Lucas | Stars: Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, Jake Lloyd

Votes: 855,362 | Gross: $474.54M

This is the only true Star Wars film. The first in the series to use computer special effects and has a cerebral plot. Unlike its boring predecessors this one makes it very entertaining till the last drop. A fantastic prequel that shows Anakin as a positive character and centers around his special abilities. No other film in the series can equal this excellent work of art.

16. Men in Black (1997)

PG-13 | 98 min | Action, Adventure, Comedy

72 Metascore

James, an NYC cop, is hired by Agent K of a secret government agency that monitors extraterrestrial life on Earth. Together, they must recover an item that has been stolen by an intergalactic villain.

Director: Barry Sonnenfeld | Stars: Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith, Linda Fiorentino, Vincent D'Onofrio

Votes: 612,099 | Gross: $250.69M

The Trilogy. Needs no saying for this one and both its sequels. All the aliens and advanced gunning with the best part being, hidden from society. It almost makes us believe that there actually are aliens and a secret organization that protects their existence. Sometimes, I myself think of the possibility of the existence of a similar setup. And not to mention Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, the special effects being flawless........ the space given here is not enough to list all the merits of this film.....

17. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

R | 137 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

75 Metascore

A cyborg, identical to the one who failed to kill Sarah Connor, must now protect her ten year old son John from an even more advanced and powerful cyborg.

Director: James Cameron | Stars: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong, Robert Patrick

Votes: 1,172,389 | Gross: $204.84M

There is nothing that needs to be said. This one along with its predecessor give a new look and feel to the cyborg concept. Literally, no other movie has given a good form to cyborgs and this one. And the totally unique war of men and machines!!! With Arnold starring this awesome film, does it really needs any more explanation?

18. Back to the Future (1985)

PG | 116 min | Adventure, Comedy, Sci-Fi

87 Metascore

Marty McFly, a 17-year-old high school student, is accidentally sent 30 years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the maverick scientist Doc Brown.

Director: Robert Zemeckis | Stars: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover

Votes: 1,304,683 | Gross: $210.61M

The whole series. There is (never can be) a better movie that deals with time travel than this. It has everything from nostalgic olden days US with futuristic flying cars and a future home complete with finger-print lock. THE WHOLE SERIES IS ONE SINGLE MOVIE AND UNEXPECTED TURNS EVERY MINUTE.

19. Inception (2010)

PG-13 | 148 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

74 Metascore

A thief who steals corporate secrets through the use of dream-sharing technology is given the inverse task of planting an idea into the mind of a C.E.O., but his tragic past may doom the project and his team to disaster.

Director: Christopher Nolan | Stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Elliot Page, Ken Watanabe

Votes: 2,546,616 | Gross: $292.58M

Dreaming is fun. But what about dreaming for real? This is the film that is unanimously regarded as the best film by all fans. But apart from all common knowledge, the dramatic feel is very good and not much talked about. This one is one open-ended, mysterious and innovative film that has set the trend for future films with its very arrival.

20. Hollow Man (2000)

R | 112 min | Action, Horror, Sci-Fi

24 Metascore

A brilliant scientist's discovery renders him invisible, but transforms him into an omnipotent, dangerous megalomaniac.

Director: Paul Verhoeven | Stars: Kevin Bacon, Elisabeth Shue, Josh Brolin, Kim Dickens

Votes: 138,282 | Gross: $73.21M

Not many sci-fis give an in-depth psychological thriller effect as this one that is set inside a single lab for the most part. Simple plot, but very beautiful special effects. There are some very realistic moments that make this film so unique. Though ripped off from "The Invisible Man" and contains an age old concept of invisibility, the way the film movies makes it totally unique and irreplacable

21. I, Robot (2004)

PG-13 | 115 min | Action, Mystery, Sci-Fi

59 Metascore

In 2035, a technophobic cop investigates a crime that may have been perpetrated by a robot, which leads to a larger threat to humanity.

Director: Alex Proyas | Stars: Will Smith, Bridget Moynahan, Bruce Greenwood, Alan Tudyk

Votes: 574,594 | Gross: $144.80M

Nothing needs to be said about Isaac Asimov or Will Smith. They add their inherent reputation. But I can definitely say, the realistic portrayal of all technology through special effects is one fantastic creation. And the robot that feels and leads its fellow robots to light, that's where it gets really GOOD! Now, this blend IS unique.

22. The Fifth Element (1997)

PG-13 | 126 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

52 Metascore

In the colorful future, a cab driver unwittingly becomes the central figure in the search for a legendary cosmic weapon to keep Evil and Mr. Zorg at bay.

Director: Luc Besson | Stars: Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, Gary Oldman, Ian Holm

Votes: 505,396 | Gross: $63.54M

One film that makes it to this list just for the futuristic depiction of human society and the special effects responsible for which to come to life. This film is not about plot but about enjoying the creativity involved in the visualisation of how humanity could advance and become an impressive species in the universe.

23. RoboCop (1987)

R | 102 min | Action, Crime, Sci-Fi

70 Metascore

In a dystopic and crime-ridden Detroit, a terminally wounded cop returns to the force as a powerful cyborg haunted by submerged memories.

Director: Paul Verhoeven | Stars: Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Dan O'Herlihy, Ronny Cox

Votes: 282,659 | Gross: $53.42M

Nothing like any of the similar concepts. Though the basic concept is not that new, its still uses a very dystopian and dramatic story line. This and its sequel have a unique feel of the RoboCop world where things are very grim and crime skyrocketing to its peak, truly this guy has come to wipe it all clean.

24. Metropolis (1927)

Not Rated | 153 min | Drama, Sci-Fi

98 Metascore

In a futuristic city sharply divided between the working class and the city planners, the son of the city's mastermind falls in love with a working-class prophet who predicts the coming of a savior to mediate their differences.

Director: Fritz Lang | Stars: Brigitte Helm, Alfred Abel, Gustav Fröhlich, Rudolf Klein-Rogge

Votes: 185,271 | Gross: $1.24M

A silent film, the fact which adds a flavour to the whole film. Silent films have a feel that is not there in talkies. In this film, the portrayal of events, the special effects, the futuristic dramatic setting, narrative and the very imagination of division in society has been fantastic. Dating back to 1927, one cannot expect any more than what was done in this film.

25. Demolition Man (1993)

R | 115 min | Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller

34 Metascore

A police officer is brought out of suspended animation in prison to pursue an old ultra-violent nemesis who is loose in a non-violent future society.

Director: Marco Brambilla | Stars: Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, Nigel Hawthorne

Votes: 193,055 | Gross: $58.06M

This kind of film is what I call a classic. Why? Futuristic to start with and intriguing in the way it depicts it. A future with a lot of things banned like smoking, drinking, non-vegetarian food, swear words, human physical contact and most importantly........... even sex!!! Especially the scene which shows sex to be banned is the best scene of all. Modern technology depicted which goes with every futuristic sci-fi film. Needless to say two great stars as the protagonist and the antagonist. A society that lives underground which opposes this bad society. And police guys who don't even know how to handle anything from a murder to abusive behaviour (another best part). And as it is the case with many films, the hero finds someone high up is behind it all, kills them and breaks the whole system (WOW!!). Even some of the subtle things are very interesting. For eg: Stallone asks Bullock in the end "How do you use those 3C Shells, anyway?". This is another notable aspect of the film.

26. Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959)

Approved | 129 min | Adventure, Family, Fantasy

An Edinburgh professor and assorted colleagues follow an explorer's trail down an extinct Icelandic volcano to the earth's center.

Director: Henry Levin | Stars: James Mason, Pat Boone, Arlene Dahl, Diane Baker

Votes: 19,505 | Gross: $10.00M

I could not help but add the original, as well as the remake to the list. I always wanted to avoid duplication (like I did for Planet of the Apes), but with this film both the original and the remake are equally well-made. This one, the original, has some of the best sci-fi adventure you can capture. Almost everything shown under the earth, every single problem, every step of the journey is so amazing that you will not want it to end. Given the time of original the way they have filmed it is applaud-worthy. In fact, my comments for the 2008 version puts it all in perspective.

27. Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008)

PG | 93 min | Action, Adventure, Family

57 Metascore

On a quest to find out what happened to his missing brother, a scientist, his nephew and their mountain guide discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth.

Director: Eric Brevig | Stars: Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson, Aníta Briem, Seth Meyers

Votes: 131,625 | Gross: $101.70M

To see new landscapes and creatures you need not go to other planets. A new world lies right in the center of our own planet. New plants, structures, natural wonders, new animals, new food, water............... anything to make it a good place to live in. This film and its older (1959) version, they make a very appealing, strong shot in depicting a world beneath the known world and an epic odyssey of wonders.

28. Red Planet (2000)

PG-13 | 106 min | Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller

34 Metascore

Astronauts, and their robotic dog AMEE (Autonomous Mapping Evaluation and Evasion), search for solutions to save a dying Earth by searching on Mars, only to have the mission go terribly awry.

Director: Antony Hoffman | Stars: Val Kilmer, Carrie-Anne Moss, Tom Sizemore, Benjamin Bratt

Votes: 59,881 | Gross: $18.00M

We have seen umpteen films that talk of Mars. There are hundreds that depict Mars as if its the sister planet to Earth and its the next to sustain life so readily. But NONE of them show a realistic picture of the planet as this sci-fi movie. UNIQUENESS FACTOR -- the portrayal of Mars as how it actually is. This one talks of how the planet is very unsuitable for survival even of we manage to oxygenate it somehow. Near to the end of the movie, we almost feel the difficulty that the lead characters face and makes us think how unsafe Martian environment is.

29. The Time Machine (1960)

G | 103 min | Adventure, Romance, Sci-Fi

67 Metascore

A man's vision for a utopian society is disillusioned when travelling forward into time reveals a dark and dangerous society.

Director: George Pal | Stars: Rod Taylor, Alan Young, Yvette Mimieux, Sebastian Cabot

Votes: 44,781

Time Travel is nothing new. And future depictions of humanity are nothing new either. What makes it an original concept then? Its the idea that humanity can evolve into two forms, after a few hundred thousand years. Also spawning a remake, this original novel adaption classic provides an entertaining and serious sci-fi fun for a thirsty mind.

30. The Fly (1958)

Not Rated | 94 min | Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi

62 Metascore

A scientist has a horrific accident when he tries to use his newly invented teleportation device.

Director: Kurt Neumann | Stars: David Hedison, Patricia Owens, Vincent Price, Herbert Marshall

Votes: 25,627 | Gross: $3.00M

I am not talking about the 1986 remake. This original version is what is really cool. A very good film, really. What starts like a murder mystery at the beginning has a science fiction background and before you know what ensues it, you have nicely enjoyed some 1 hour 34 minutes. This is one of those few films that talk of the good and bad effects of an invention rather than the invention itself.

31. Evolution (2001)

PG-13 | 101 min | Comedy, Sci-Fi

40 Metascore

A fire-fighting cadet, two college professors, and a geeky but sexy government scientist work against an alien organism that has been rapidly evolving since its arrival on Earth inside a meteor.

Director: Ivan Reitman | Stars: David Duchovny, Orlando Jones, Julianne Moore, Seann William Scott

Votes: 136,126 | Gross: $38.35M

Does evolution need eons to progress? No. It just needs a few days. With the meteorite that falls in this movie, evolution of organisms take place within days. There cannot be a more unique concept than witnessing all stages of evolution right from single celled organisms to giant apes, within a few days. With good comedies here and there this film makes a very good entertainer.

32. WALL·E (2008)

G | 98 min | Animation, Adventure, Family

95 Metascore

In the distant future, a small waste-collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind.

Director: Andrew Stanton | Stars: Ben Burtt, Elissa Knight, Jeff Garlin, Fred Willard

Votes: 1,198,575 | Gross: $223.81M

An animated film. But a totally a one-of-a-kind rendition. Humanity is probably progressing in the same direction as portrayed in the film. May be we are only a few steps short of it. Also the way robots do all the work, and many types of robots for each field. Robots do all the work, all humans enjoy life without even placing their feet on the ground. And obviously ignorant about any real-life technological or other knowledge. And with a spaceship modelled like earth, this film truly has a special place for itself.

33. The Blob (1988)

R | 95 min | Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller

A deadly entity from space crash-lands near a small town and begins consuming everyone in its path. Panic ensues as shady government scientists try to contain the horrific creature.

Director: Chuck Russell | Stars: Shawnee Smith, Kevin Dillon, Donovan Leitch Jr., Jeffrey DeMunn

Votes: 43,404 | Gross: $8.25M

This film is one of those few remakes that are sane and that do true justice to their originals. In fact, this remake was a lot lot better than its original in certain ways. The already good original film is made even better through creating some interesting teen characters and interaction between them. Also special effects are much much better than the original B movie. This film can be a satisfactory choice for any one choosing to watch a good old sci fi flick.

34. Knowing (2009)

PG-13 | 121 min | Action, Mystery, Sci-Fi

41 Metascore

M.I.T. professor John Koestler links a mysterious list of numbers from a time capsule to past and future disasters and sets out to prevent the ultimate catastrophe.

Director: Alex Proyas | Stars: Nicolas Cage, Chandler Canterbury, Rose Byrne, Lara Robinson

Votes: 247,315 | Gross: $79.96M

Destruction of the world and restarting of human race. Dated concept BUT NOT WITH ALIENS IN IT!!!! The very unique factor is not the concept but how we are led into it. The beginning with numbers, strange senseless numbers that suddenly make sense and the source of which is in question. This is exactly what sets the film in absolute mystery and thrill.

35. Mars Needs Moms (2011)

PG | 88 min | Animation, Action, Adventure

49 Metascore

A young boy named Milo gains a deeper appreciation for his mom after Martians come to Earth to take her away.

Director: Simon Wells | Stars: Seth Green, Joan Cusack, Dan Fogler, Elisabeth Harnois

Votes: 23,872 | Gross: $21.38M

Yes. This film has done it. It has done what a sci-fi film should do. Many sci-fis merely have a concept, often do not show anything in the name of a storyline and want us to get impressed with it. The purpose if science fiction is to tell a story using science as a medium and not tell us just the science part.

A guy misses his mom and truly realizes her love, when aliens take her away. WOW!!! And with all the photo-realistic animation one can hardly resist rating it at the top.

36. Surrogates (2009)

PG-13 | 89 min | Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller

45 Metascore

Set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others' surrogates.

Director: Jonathan Mostow | Stars: Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell, Ving Rhames, Rosamund Pike

Votes: 180,191 | Gross: $38.58M

Originality at its best. May be, it even creates a fantasy in us for such "surrogates". Before the film, we have only seen everyone playing virtual reality all over the world, or films like "The Matrix" show brain-in-a-vat stories. But no one expected a simulation in the real world and the kicker is where 98% of the population use it, forgetting their real selves. It just feels like a simulation all through the film, make us forget everything is happening in the real world. That apart, there are a lot of dramatic turns in the film, few twists and a good interconnected storyline that beats it all!!

37. In Time (2011)

PG-13 | 109 min | Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller

53 Metascore

In a future where people stop aging at 25, but are engineered to live only one more year, having the means to buy your way out of the situation is a shot at immortal youth. Will Salas is accused of murder and on the run with a hostage.

Director: Andrew Niccol | Stars: Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Cillian Murphy, Olivia Wilde

Votes: 445,549 | Gross: $37.52M

Makes it to the list for the unique basic idea around which the film revolves. Clearly, there has not been a film similar to In Time. Even leaving alone the "Time Is Money" concept, the style of filmmaking, the dramatic and sharp events create an intense interest around the film. Also, this is one of those films that has lived up to its trailer. The movie gives the same feel as it did when I watched the trailer.

38. Land of the Lost (2009)

PG-13 | 102 min | Action, Adventure, Comedy

32 Metascore

A space-time vortex sucks scientist Rick Marshall, his assistant Holly and a survivalist Will into a world populated by dinosaurs and painfully slow creatures called Sleestaks.

Director: Brad Silberling | Stars: Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, Anna Friel, Jorma Taccone

Votes: 75,238 | Gross: $49.44M

If you ask me, this one scores more for comedy than sci-fi. But one is not complete without the other, is it? The wacky and weird style of film-making I'd point out, and some of the unimaginably different kind of sets. There is everything in the film that can bring out the comedy, a different kind of intelligent species, a T-Rex, all kinds of weird animals, a comical scientist, early humans and more...

39. Galaxy Quest (1999)

PG | 102 min | Adventure, Comedy, Sci-Fi

70 Metascore

The alumni cast of a space opera television series have to play their roles as the real thing when an alien race needs their help. However, they also have to defend both Earth and the alien race from a reptilian warlord.

Director: Dean Parisot | Stars: Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub

Votes: 177,881 | Gross: $71.58M

Apart from some good ones like Back to the Future or Evolution, there is only a few good sci-fi comedies. This one satisfies both the sci-fi part and the comedy part. Also, this one is novel with its plot where the TV actors play their part for real. This one just makes a good sci-fi comedy for an evening.

Science Fiction from horror perspective. Unlike its prequel or sequel, this one uses science fiction based cube rooms to victimize people in it. The very impossible reality of various rooms having a special ability with some dangerous and some safe rooms, the meeting of several realities and timelines, and also all of them imploding in the end, DEFINITELY COOL!!!!

The often underrated film about a machine who is human. No action sequences, no serious science, no portrayal of social happenings. Just pure overwhelming scenes and comic portrayal of human nature. The all time favourite of some people makes our eyes clogged with tears at certain parts. This classic is a good choice for a family film, and one of the best performances of Robin Williams.
