Road trip reinforces my point that movies with the word "trip" are usually hilarious. Road trip follows four friends traveling across the U.S. to try to stop an explicit from reaching the main character's girlfriend. Along the way they find themselves in all kinds of hilarious scenarios and predicaments all narrated by their crazy friend and roommate back in Ithaca. Road Trip is an all around hilarious movie.

4. American Pie (1999)

After a hard break up with his long time girlfriend, Sarah Marshall, Peter decides to take a trip to Hawaii only to wind up the same hotel as his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. The movie is generally pretty funny especially the dinner segment towards the end of the movie.

12. American Pie Presents: Beta House (2007 Video)

Erik and Cooze start college and pledge the Beta House fraternity, presided over by none other than legendary Dwight Stifler.

One would think that after this many American Pie that it would've lost all originality, but American Pie Beta House shows that to be nothing more than a fallacy. With the outrageous antics of the original American Pies set in a crazy frat house, American Pie Beta House retains the greatness of the originals while still shaping its own unique identity.

13. Revenge of the Nerds (1984)

Another classic, Caddyshack is generally a pretty funny movie. Rodney Dangerfield's character is absolutely hilarious. This coupled with a judge with a temper and a crazy gopher hunter creates a hilarious movie.

Another good performance by Adam Sandler who plays an ex-hockey player who turns to pro-golf to save his grandmother's house. The movie has tons of humorous moments (especially when he's learning to play golf).
