Zrinka Cvitesic is a Croatian film, television and theater actress. She started acting at elementary school and her first role was Cinderella. As a theater actress, she has been a member of the Croatian National Theater since 2005. In April 2013, she made her West End debut at the Phoenix Theater in London as "Girl" in the musical Once. Her performance received rave reviews, and she won Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
For her performance in the 2005 film What Is a Man Without a Moustache? (2005), Cvitesic won awards for best actress in a leading role both at the 53rd Pula Film Festival and the 11th Sarajevo Film Festival. She received the Shooting Stars Award, the annual acting award for up-and-coming actors by European Film Promotion, at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival in 2010. She has been a recipient of Golden Arena, the top prize at Pula Film Festival for her work in the film Na putu (2010).
Other than her eminent role in Croatian theater, film and television, she is active as a voice actress. Leona Paraminski is a European movie, theatre and TV actress born in Croatia. She has appeared in over 30 films and TV shows mostly as a leading actress. She is best known for "Winter in Rio", "The Society of Jesus", "The Party" and "Budva na pjenu od mora".
She enrolled in the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb. While she was still at university she won an award for best actress in the film Vinko na krovu. She graduated in 2001. A year later she was honored with the most significant film award in Croatia - the 'Golden Arena' - for best actress in the film Prezimiti u Riu.
Her movies have been shown on more than 200 international film festivals and were awarded more than 30 times. For her appearances Leona has been awarded the best female actress award five times. Most importantly, Natasha was selected as one of the European Shooting Stars at the Berlinale film festival at 2011. She is the first actress selected in the category of future young stars in Europe, to represent her native Macedonia at this Festival.
In 2012 she had a leading role in 'The Piano Room' directed by Igor Ivanov - Izi that premiered at Manaki Film Festival 2013. That same year she acted in "To The Hilt" , an epic story directed by the Academy Award Nominee ,Stole Popov. The film also had its premiere in 2014 at the Manaki Film Festival. In 2013 she played the role Katerina in the feature film "Lazar" directed by Svetozar Ristovski, which had its premiere in 2015.
Natasha had the lead role of Lexia, in the feature film "Elixir" which was shot on location in Berlin, directed by Brodie Higgs. The film premiered at the Berlinale in 2015. Playing alongside Bruno Ganz, Natasha had a lead role in the feature film "Witness", directed by the Macedonian film director Mitko Panov.
