Charismatic, blue eyed, Paul Newman, was horribly miscast in his film debut in 1955, in the silly biblical epic, The Silver Chalice. They must have learned quickly because the next nearly 50 years featured sheer brilliance, and one memorable film characterization after another for the wonderful Paul Newman. From Somebody Up There Likes Me to Road to Perdition, Newman, was likeable, magnetic and consistently excellent. Here are 35 of his very best.
