Age limits: First i took the age limit depending on how violent, offensive, sexual, and so forth the movie is, then i adjusted it, to when you might be able to appreciate the movie. E.g. i don't think The Perfect Storm has much violence, sex and so forth, so that's a 12, but i think it's hard to understand as a 12 year old, so i raised it to 15. It doesn't work the other way around though. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The SpoilerZone is sometimes just possible spoilers, i myself for instance don't like to know much about the movie before watching it. Sometimes, there's big spoilers though. I Also added a Plot.Line, for those who want to have somewhat of an idea about what they're getting into, some might consider it a spoiler in itself.

Those who appreciate the movie, would say wait a bit more, because it's hard to guess what's gonna happen, it's easy to understand though, but i don't think it's worth saving till you grown up. Pale scary people, enough said. I liked this, to a certain degree. Wow, how does one talk about this movie without automatically spoiling something? Yes, it's that kind of a movie, annoying isn't it? I guess my best advice, for anyone that's considering watching this movie, is: Watch it, either you will appreciate it, or else you will think something like: "I could have spent my time better.". But the acting of Kiefer Sutherland is worth watching.

A great mystery.

The ending was strange, and although it solved the mystery, i wasn't that pleased and amazed by it. Some might be though. - DirectorRichard KellyStarsJake GyllenhaalJena MaloneMary McDonnellAfter narrowly escaping a bizarre accident, a troubled teenager is plagued by visions of a man in a large rabbit suit who manipulates him to commit a series of crimes.9,2 - Aldersgrænse efter min mening: 15.
Soundtracket - Perfekt sammenhæng - DirectorGeorge LucasStarsHayden ChristensenNatalie PortmanEwan McGregorThree years into the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi pursues a new threat, while Anakin Skywalker is lured by Chancellor Palpatine into a sinister plot to rule the galaxy.8,7 - Aldersgrænse efter min mening: 12.
- DirectorDavid FincherStarsJake GyllenhaalRobert Downey Jr.Mark RuffaloBetween 1968 and 1983, a San Francisco cartoonist becomes an amateur detective obsessed with tracking down the Zodiac Killer, an unidentified individual who terrorizes Northern California with a killing spree.5.7 - Personal opinion on age limit: 15. It's about murders and stuff, and it's really boring if you don't understand it, and find the investigation stuff interesting. Going to danish.. for some reason. "This is the Zodiac speaking."
- DirectorF. Gary GrayStarsIce CubeChris TuckerNia LongIt's Friday, and Craig and Smokey must come up with $200 they owe a local bully or there won't be a Saturday.4.9 - Personal opinion of age limit: 12, but don't do drugs. Not too much violence, but some 'bad' themes in it, nevertheless you might still find it quite enjoyable. Bahahaha. Shiet man, this movie be trippin' ya'll. I don't know if i really have the street cred to have said that, but ok... This is the only movie where i really appreciated having Chris Tucker in it. He just kept coming back with the most lame jokes, and it still just cracked me up. Ice Cube is pretty solid in the lead role as well.
In the movie you can really feel the mood of the 'hood'. People walking up and down the street stealing, 'begging', and parents that don't know the first thing about doing something of effort. If you speak English but not slang, you won't understand much, also it's a pretty 'small-town' plot. The story is about small money and weed, but the plot doesn't really drive the movie, the humor does, and the soundtrack fits, if you like rap n' hip hop you might enjoy that too. A movie definitely worth watching if you're bored already.

Just a good comedy! - DirectorWilson YipStarsDonnie YenSimon YamSiu-Wong FanDuring the Japanese invasion of China, a wealthy martial artist is forced to leave his home when his city is occupied. With little means of providing for themselves, Ip Man and the remaining members of the city must find a way to survive.6,0 - Personal opinion on age limit: 13. There's some violence, yes, but i think most will be able to understand and appreciate this. A story about the uprising of Wing Chun / Wing Tsun. You automatically liked Ip Man, because he was that calm sensei type, taking things at ease, being real friendly and especially respecting his wife. You know you love to watch someone who when challenged in his own house, by a competing club-master, invites his opponent for some dinner first, and then treats him with real hospitality, and generally hypes the match as a friendly one. I wasn't real sure about the movie coming in, i thought it was just gonna be another one of those kung fu movies where the people fly around, and when a master punches someone, he/she flies 30 miles north... There wasn't too much of that fighting, but it was pretty wild yet somewhat realistic. It was a pleasure watching the Wing Tsun of Ip man, with all it's speedy punches in bunches. But the film was also much about the uprising of the Japanese invaders, the people in china were poor, and people were desperate to find ways to put some food on the table, e.g. becoming robbers, fighting in Japanese tournaments, stealing and so forth. The best scene was also the last, probably, where Ip Man beats the Japanese general dude, because the people rallied around Ip Man, and eventually retook China. Pretty decent movie.

Can't wait till' you turn 15 huh? No real violence, light drug subjects.
A great movie about a certain woman named Sandra Bullock, oh wait i mean Gwen Cummings. Something about a drunk something, rehab and so forth. Sounds Boring, and if you do not like Sandra Bullock, but of course you do, stay far away from the movie.
Ok, so the reason you watch this movie, is that you're bored, and in the mood. And Sandra Bullock is king, yes that's an expression.
It is by no means a movie for the ages, but it is definitely an enjoyable one. Did i mention that this is one of Sandra's better performances? Ok, it is.
The movie is made for a cheer you up on a depressed day. Can't think of much else, so here's the actors that makes sure the movie runs well: Margo Martindale, you never see her not perform awesomely like. Steve Buscemi, no real comments there, he is as always very solid. Viggo Mortensen, good to see him doing his thing, and not in a huge project this time. Oh and it's not too long, so you don't get bored.

Rehab, and lots of it. Rehab facility is very key. - DirectorRod LurieStarsKate BeckinsaleMatt DillonVera FarmigaIn Washington, D.C., a reporter faces a possible jail sentence for outing a CIA agent and refusing to reveal her source.6.3 - Personal take on age limit: 15. How about that Kate Beckinsale? Yes, she is absolutely terrific in this movie. She is convincing, intriguing, and she also hides her perfect British accent so well that you would think she's American. Also Vera Farmiga played tremendously well, it's a big plus that she is in the movie. The same sadly can't be said for David Schwimmer, he belongs with comedy, not in this movie. I don't know why i can't take him seriously, i just can't. Sorry David. All in all though, the movie is easy to enjoy, and David Schwimmer doesn't completely ruin it at all.
If you like David Scwhimmer, then definitely watch the movie. I should also mention that i very much enjoyed Alan Alda throughout the whole movie.

Reporter with government secrets, and the aftermath.
----------------------------SpoilerZone---------------------------
This movie has kind of that lead up to which person is the 'traitor of the government', like many other movies of the same style, and you enjoy it. It's not like you're extremely curious about the guy or girl who was the source of information, you're more interested in the people of the story, i for one felt more interested in what would happen to Rachel Armstrong in the movie, whether it was how long she would stay in prison or how people treated her, than i was interested in what actually happened to start the whole thing.

"Your fight for survival starts... now!"
The first dancing scene, aka. the scene that will be watched a million times, over and over, again and again, is pure Bjork magic awesomeness. (Not literally magic)
The introduction of the movie is just fantastic, no dialog needed, just music and pictures put together. And a little monologue at the side.
The simple plot works for the movie, it's not hard to understand, the movie is just long enough, and although the action scenes are confusing at first, they never fail to deliver. Gun shootings, sword slashing, robots, ancient fabled creatures and all kinds of cool stuff like that.
The high expectations of the actresses were definitely met. They played all kinds of great, and they kicked some serious dragon/robot/Nazi ass.
In the start of the movie you will notice that Emily Browning is pretty short compared to her age... but you get used to that and she plays extremely well. I could talk about all the actresses but they played just about equally well, and quite formidably.
And then there was Jon Hamm... And who doesn't love Jon Hamm?
He plays a confused doctor, which is something that people should be used to seeing... (*Hint Hint*: 30 Rock).
Also a nod for Carla Gugino who did a terrific job on the real side.
The thing that puts this movie on the higher end of 6, is of course the music. The music was set to 'awesome' from the beginning, and it carried the movie all the way through. You might recognize a lot of the music, which has been remade for the movie.
Check it out for sure!

There is something really awesome about the way things happen when Baby Doll starts to dance. The Dr. told her how, now she knows... and she knows a lot of things. "School's canceled on account of the aliens."
Some good actors. Some HORRIBLE actors - Kathy Bates for example. Here are some reasons why the movie was good and why the movie was bad.
Alright, first off, let's talk about the reason that i watched this movie: Jennifer Connelly.
She was was awesome as she could be under the circumstances, because frankly i blame the writing staff for giving her a poor role. This was one of her not so spectacular performances, but it wasn't her fault.
Did i mention that Keanu Reeves is an alien in the movie? Well, he is. He's also fairly good at it. He wasn't the only actor that came to mind as a good alien-humanoid-guy, but he was probably the right decision.
Kathy Bates was, put simply, the horror of this movie. She was the reason that we didn't get to see some made up president, which let's face it, we all rather would have liked.
Jaden Smith was ups and downs, but mostly downs. He was however boosted by Jennifer Connelly.
I liked John Cleese. But come on, was he really supposed to be there for just that one scene? It seemed really odd to me. I think it's in pretty bad taste to just waste such talent, because he did come off as promising in the movie.
Then of course there's this pearl of a comment "The military and their acronyms... ". I so love that he said that. It's comments like this that lightens up the scenes, and make the movies more enjoyable.
As for the movie itself, i haven't actually seen the original, but it seems as if they could've come up with something better than this.
And the big thing was, very much like "Cowboys & Aliens" that it was so quickly "In & Out" that you got so little information about ... anything. The movie just didn't make that much sense. It was too straightforward in its point, which was
--- SPOILER ZONE ---
That the humans were going to be destroyed because they were killing the planet.
--- END OF SPOILER ZONE ---
The movie overall seemed a bit half-arsed... And that's it. They should've thought of something better - maybe a movie, slightly inspired by the original, but not this halfway-the-same-thing movie.
All this being said, i actually DID find it watchable, and i won't be stopping anyone from watching it themselves. Always watch movies with Keanu and Jennifer in them.
Do it for Jennifer and Keanu. Do it for them. - DirectorPaul HaggisStarsRussell CroweElizabeth BanksLiam NeesonA married couple's life is turned upside down when the wife is accused of a murder.8.1 - Age restriction: 16. This movie was made so well, that you have to be older to really enjoy it. But that's just my opinion.
I've had this movie lying around for some time, and I finally decided to watch it. I do NOT regret doing so. This was far better than I had expected.
Because the movie was so good, I will probably be spoiling things throughout the entire review.
"What kind of criminal drives a Prius?"
This is without any doubt in my mind, the best jail breaker movie since "The Shawshank Redemption".
There's a long list of reasons why this movie is so awesome. Let's start off with the actors.
First and foremost, Russel Crowe never fails to perform in these roles. He always nails it. I never have any trouble with taking him seriously, finding him funny or whatever else you can think of, but this role he played exceptionally well. Not much else to say.
This was my first movie with Elisabeth Banks - as far as i remember - and she made quite a first impression. It's hard not to love both the main characters even with all their flaws. She plays well, she's believable and generally likeable.
I was also quite fond of Jason Beghe, who ran by the name Detective Quinn, so kudos to that.
A very important fact about this movie was also that the kid wasn't annoying. He does look a bit like other kids in popular TV-shows and such, but he did well.
Olivia Wilde made a few appearances, and as much as I would've liked to see more of her, I think she fit the role quite nicely. But still, she deserves bigger roles, and people need to see this. But i digress. Liam Neeson also made a quick appearance, but he wasn't that noteworthy.
This wasn't exactly a movie of one-liners, but of course, Liam Neeson had one of the good quotes.
"I gave myself up. I couldn't take wondering when someone was gonna come through the bedroom door."
Perfect context. Nicely done.
And then of course there's the good old Community-College-Teacher-with-a-gun quote:
"Show me where the bullets go."
As I said, there's all kinds of reasons to go watch this movie. It has good, likeable, even lovable actors.
Sort of spoiler zone coming up.
----------------------SPOILER.ZONE------------------------------
But that's not even the best thing about the movie. The best thing about the movie, is the constant tension, it really starts about halfway through and it will not stop until the movie is over.
----------------------SPOILER.ZONE------------------------------
So as I said, the best feature about this movie is the fact that your adrenaline will be pumping throughout most of it.
------------------------Short.line---------------------------------
So to conclude: Brilliant actors. BRILLIANT writing, Brilliant directing, and the movie was generally executed perfectly. As a bonus point: The movie length is just right. Only good movies deserve 2 hours of length and this movie was just that.
You will definitely want to see this movie at some point. - DirectorYoichi MoriStarsIsshin ChibaUnshô IshizukaYuki MatsuokaHigh school student Ling Xiaoyu is recruited by Anna Williams of G Corporation to transfer to Kyoto University and gather information on a student named Shin Kamiya.3.0 - Age restriction: 11.
Just to clarify, I didn't hate this movie, it was just really bad. But so was all the other Tekken movies, so there's no surprise there.
IMPORTANT POINT: The movie is still somewhat watchable.
First of all, I would like to give the movie 2 different ratings - aside from the one I've already given:
Movie Plot: 1.8 / 10.
Characters: 5 / 10.
The movie plot was as per expectations, idiotic. It started out with some awesome fighting and some Xiaoyu running around on a high school. That was OK. But then came Jin, Kazuya and worst of all Heihachi. Then the realism just turned a bit too far off. They destroyed buildings by smashing their fists into one another. And their characters was just stupid and only lusting for power and destruction. There was nothing behind it.
Anna was also an utter disappointment. Most of the times anyway.
I have no strong opinion about Nina, she was just not that included. And I would much rather have seen more of her than Jin, Kazuya and Heihachi.
Alright, but here's a good thing to say about the movie. It was stupid, BUT: You couldn't help but smile almost every time the following characters spoke:
Nina Williams, Ling Xiaoyu, Alisa Bosconovitch, Lee Chaolan, Panda.
They were all quite amusing. The Nina vs Anna dispute was also OK, but they could do better, and Anna had soldiers in front of her every time.
Another good thing about the movie was, to no ones great surprise, the fights! And I don't mean the fights between Jin, Kazuya and Heihachi. These fights were also just as stupid as they could be. Stop using ultra demon powers in fights. Only lesser demon powers such as Devil Jin in the games should be allowed. But I digress.
The fights that were awesome was the ones like the first fight, between Anna and Nina, or between Alisa and Xiaoyu. There was all kinds of awesome in these fights, and the best thing was that you recognized some of the moves and stances that the characters made. I was definitely hyped every time a fight was coming up.
There's not much else to say. I watched this movie over lunch time, just for fun. And I was amused and lightly touched at one point. There was also some awesome fights. But in no way did this movie have a good plot line.
Watch it if you're a Tekken fan. - DirectorJohn Erick DowdleStarsChris MessinaCaroline DhavernasBokeem WoodbineA group of people are trapped in an elevator and the Devil is mysteriously amongst them.3.6 - Age restriction: 13. Not for the girly girls, seeing as how it is a horror movie and there will be blood. IF you DON'T like spoilers, don't read this review.
The movie was fairly well done. I was disappointed.
Seeing as how this was a horror movie, the special effects really needed to be spot on, and they were. Nothing to complain about what-so-ever.
People dying in an elevator, who is the killer? Seems solid enough, right?
This movie was build around a security guard and his mothers stories of the Devil. Which is cool, and outsider / observer is a good person to set the setting for these movies.
The most awesome thing about this movie, is the way that the killings are performed. The elevator turns to dark, and you can hear a bunch of noises which give you clues about what is happening, in the scene but also in the movie as a whole - WHO IS THE KILLER? - Then the light turns on and something has gone very wrong.
Usually, the person that people suspect dies next, and for some reason the killer is always hidden in the background. This movie was no exception for that golden rule.
In my mind, a movie tends to work this way: It's completely strange to you in the start, and then either it sucks you in or you get tired of watching it. This movie very quickly got my attention. It seemed as if it had an interesting plot and it seemed to be have a nice atmosphere. The problem, as it turned out to be, was that it promised more than it delivered. The start scene sat the tone for the whole movie, but it didn't turn out to be as great as expected. Some of the fault in that can be thrown at the length of the movie. Now usually it is the fewest of horror movies that would do well with more than 1 hour and 50 minutes of playing time, but this movie had only about 1 hour and 5 minutes. The story can only be interesting for so long, but the movie needed perhaps just a little more time to develop. And that leads us to the ending. The ending wasn't that shocking in itself, but more important was that it was too short, and we didn't see enough action from The Devil. Just a few glimpses of an old pissed off lady with blackened eyes. Not exactly what I had hoped for, but given the title it was not something that surprised me at all, either. Also, this was a disappointing scene to me. I knew one of them was the killer, but I just wasn't pleasantly surprised.
As per usual, I didn't like any of the main characters in this horror movie, and I didn't really have much of a chance to do so either, and I will come back to why.
This is a horror movie where you know that the killer is most likely someone that you know already. But it just wasn't that well performed. What I'm seeing is that if they actually had drawn the movie out some more, the movie would've become more boring and the guessing games would really commence as the only option of entertainment. Therefore they cut the film short - it could also be something with budgets but for the fun of it, let's assume it's not - so that the movie would constantly have action, be intense, unpredictable and exciting for the viewer. This was seems good in itself but it leaves so much to be desired. For example you have no idea who the characters really are, you just kind of know that you don't like them, and how could you know? The fact is, that any relevant evidence given about the main characters would ruin the fun of the surprise in the end.
Also, there's not that much going on besides people dying in an elevator, or on an elevator. It's not that the killings aren't well made or anything - they all are - but the movie is a bit too one-sided.
I am going to compare the making of this movie to an activity that I like to do myself. It's called tactic making. I sort of start out with an idea that I think is really brilliant, but then it turns out when I'm almost finished that the idea just won't work as well as I had originally hoped for. There's too many holes in it so to speak. And that's what I think this movie is. A well thought out idea, that didn't work that well in practice. - DirectorRoger DonaldsonStarsAl PacinoColin FarrellBridget MoynahanA brilliant young CIA trainee is asked by his mentor to help find a mole in the Agency.5.0 - Age restriction 15.
Here's two good reasons why I like this movie.
One - The movie has good actors. Collin Farrel is playing the lead and he didn't exactly disappoint. Al Pacino has the co-lead role, I guess you could say, and he is just solid whatever he plays. Big props to him. I also sort of liked Bridget Moynahan but she was boosted by Collin. All in all, the acting was worth watching.
Two - Klaus Badelt made the movie's soundtrack. They pulled in the right guy for that job, and it helped the movie. It was especially good because it made me catch on early.
I actually found the movie pretty nice and it didn't have any holes in it. The start of the movie was somewhat catchy but not overwhelming, and there didn't happen that much in the first 40 minutes of the movie. The ending wasn't bad, but then again not great either. But HEY, finally a movie with just a little bit of character development and depth. Or maybe I just like these characters better than usual? Either way, it's a win-win.
--------------------------Spoiler.Zone----------------------------

Det var nogle vilde farver, til en syret film, og så var der selvfølgelig Conchata Ferrel, blandt andre kendinge.

To better understand it, and it's got a few violent scenes in it. A great movie about kids and vampires. The best thing you can do in a 'vampire' movie, is to make a great environment, and they sure nailed it. No matter where the scene takes place, it always seems to be dark somehow. What to say? Watch it, definitely. --------------------------------------SpoilerZone-----------------
The relationsship between the main character and the other 'main' character is just awesome. There's some pretty fascinating scenes in there with the two of them. Others might find the whole vampire thing, with the whole "You have to invite me in" comment, just a bit odd. But i found it fascinating, with an open mind, and the scene was timed and performed well. - DirectorWes CravenStarsNeve CampbellCourteney CoxDavid ArquetteA year after the murder of her mother, a teenage girl is terrorized by a masked killer who targets her and her friends by using scary movies as part of a deadly game.4.2 - Age limit 12. Is it wrong that I'm smiling?
OK, so I was sitting a random night, speculating what I should do. So I browsed through my movies and for some reason THIS movie caught my eye - A movie I had previously avoided because I thought it would be so horrible to watch from start to finish. I guess I can thank Drew Barrymore for that. For some reason she always finds a way to be excellent in her ridiculously small roles - Donnie Darko for example.
In the end you see the pictures of each character and the actor name. And there I was booing when David Arquette came on and cheering when Neve Campbell came on and then booing again when Courtney Cox came on... And then cheering again when Matthew Lillard came on. In my mind, that's the story of the Scream movies. Everytime a kill happens, it gets interesting, but then suddenly there comes Courtney and Dofus and screws up the movie. One role is the most annoying you will see in almost any movie - Courtney Cox - and the other is just so stupid that it's insulting. But I'll get back to that if I review Scream 3.
Wes Craven actually did a terrific job, especially in the start. There was actually a really horrible - the good kind of horrible - scene in the start, thanks to Drew Barrymore and her deliciously looking jiffy pops.
There was some really nice lines about horror movies and Jamie Kennedy was a hoot to watch, when he went from crazy horror movie guy to CRAZY guy, who watches horror movies.
I was never sure I would like Neve Campbell but as it turns out, she actually made that movie more than just Matthew Lillard jumping around like a crazy guy all movie long - Seriously, I had no doubt he was one of the killers, and you could clearly see that the killer moved like him several times throughout the movie, I would actually have been disappointed had he not been 'the killer'. That guy was crazy - crazy excellent.
I just laughed every time you saw the killer in a place where he clearly wasn't going to kill anyone. I can just hear the headlines: "Ghost Face Killer caught shoplifting at local super market"
In this movie, you can't believe a hint you get. Or can you?
You see 'the killer' in the super market and then immediately after see the killers boots. Wait... That didn't make sense.. There must be two killers! Right...
The awesomeness of this movie should be credited to the somewhat nice victims, Matthew Lillard and Neve Campbell.
Last but not least, it's a mystery whether Courtney Cox and Dofus made the movie better in the scenes they weren't in or if they just made it worse overall. Because they were dreadful... So dreadful. - DirectorAlan ParkerStarsGene HackmanWillem DafoeFrances McDormandTwo F.B.I. This movie is pretty decent, but nothing more. And hello, what do we have here? Is it an Oscar for cinematography? That's just stupid. This movie isn't that good, and I'm sure there was a movie more deserving back then.
This movie sort of pisses me off. It's not really good, but it's a sure Oscar nominee, and why? I have no idea. But it's sure to have something to do with cheesy comments like these:
"Down here they say rattlesnakes don't commit suicide."
It's stinks of the late 80's, in a bad way. It's easy to see a resemblance in Rain Man and this, only it's not a comedy, and it's slightly worse.
Alright, the movie actually wasn't that bad, but you get the idea that it's overrated. But let's say something positive about it: The soundtrack of the movie was fitting. It hit the spot just about right and it created a nice mood that depicted the emotions of the black people.
The thing that made this movie 'great' was the terrific duo of Gene and Willem. They actually played quite convincingly and you could enjoy them both, but especially Gene who played a southern righteous dude who knew his way around 'these parts of the country'. Yeah, he's awesome. The same can't be said about Willem who has seen better roles than "I want 100 men here by morning!". You're kind of missing the "And there was a firefight!" - from Boondock Saints.
The movie is just not that interesting, very predictable and the drama is mediocre at best. You can sort of enjoy moments in the film, and you can enjoy Gene when he walks into barber shop, asking around in his handsome manner.
Alright, so I must admit I was slightly hyped to see this movie, but I was fairly disappointed by its mediocrity. - DirectorWes CravenStarsNeve CampbellCourteney CoxDavid ArquetteTwo years after the first series of murders, as Sidney acclimates to college life, someone donning the Ghostface costume begins a new string of killings.3.2 Age limit 12.
I actually recommend that you watch this movie at a young age, if you're looking for a good spook, because that's close to the only thing the movie does right.
Bring in the spoilers.
------------------------------------------------------------------
In this second edition of the 'trilogy' you can really start to see the patterns. The movie therefore becomes predictable, and a lot of things are just FAR worse in the second movie. Namely the murder scenes.
Here is the biggest thing that assures that this movie is worse than its prequel: There is less emphasis on the murder scenes, and more emphasis on the "Oh no, Gale Weathers and Dewey has 9000 lives and are awful" scenes. How they ever got that idea is simply beyond me.
You also saw a downgrade in the previous character favorite: Randy - Jamie Kennedy. He wasn't that exciting at all, but maybe he just hadn't enough maniacs to hang around with this time.
I have a feeling that everything just went downhill this movie, the start scene wasn't as good either. Omar Epps was awesome, but the scene in the big house with Drew Barrymore was just far better. Neve Campbell just seemed a bit out of character. She didn't fit her old self, and it was harder to like her when she stormed around... Maybe she was actually too brave?
And then of course, the section about Courtney Cox, David Arquette and how awful they are, both together, and with other people. It doesn't even matter if they speak, David Arquette has this extremely stupid and cheesy look when he looks at people, and let's face it Courtney Cox says something every scene she's in, which is too many by the way, and she just destroys the movie.
I was offended by the entire last part of the movie. It all started when the Gale and Dewey entered the movie room. It was hard not to weep when you saw Dewey getting stabbed and you just knew... He was gonna come back and ruin the ending somehow. It got even worse when the killer 'unexpectedly' got out of the car, right in front of the eyes of Sidney and that other chick. They could literally see the car, only the camera didn't. Actually it was an overall thing that the murder scenes were worse, and less surprising and intense. They did use some of their old scenes to create suspense, for example the one with the killer behind the door, that wasn't there in the sequel - I think this at least deserves some credit. The party kids weren't involved enough either. They were just kind of a sidetrack, they should've been the second part of the movie, not those damn '9 lifers'.
In these movies there are always certain people you like: At least one of the killers, but absolutely not necessarily 2, and at least one of the people getting killed, or near the people getting killed, I.e. in the 'target group' I.e. not the main characters. I of course loved Timothy, and it took me while to guess that he was one of the killers, but it was pretty obvious when you thought about it and got further in. The 'plot twist' with the second murderer was just plain out stupid. The movie may have needed another killer, but the mother of the same person certainly didn't do well. Bad choice.
Best killscene: Sarah Michelle Gellar, even though it was pretty stupid, it was still justifiable, pretty suspenseful and entertaining.
All in all, a worse sequel. When I want to describe the movies and shows they create in South Korea, I always start out by giving one simple piece of information. It's Korean. First of all the Koreans have different values and standards for behavior. And more importantly, if you've seen 20 minutes of a movie and think you have the whole plot line figured out, you're wrong. If you watch this kind of movie without having done any research on it whatsoever, it will surprise you the way it switches its mood/theme/plot.
Do you think you're watching the Korean American Pie (look above) where the ridicule is endless and the only-oriented-for-men content is there the complete movie through, with some terrible ending? Do you think this is one of those cheesy love stories where the boy starts out by rejecting the girl, but then in the end throws his world at her? Think again.
