My favourite tv actors - according to my favourite tv shows

by BlackholeTraveller | created - 23 Mar 2012 | updated - 13 Oct 2013 | Public

1-45 überarbeitet am 13.10.2013. Alle Plätze mit über 50 Punkten platziert.

I got a list with 78 "favourite" shows, so every show gets points, #1 gets 75 points and #78 gets 1 Point. That of course changes when I finish a new show I like or another season, so the ranks change and my excel list is doing some new calculating.

Anyway, I gave every actor points for the show he is in, like f.e. Rachel Griffiths was in both B&S and SFU, so she gets points for both shows. But only for the percentage of episodes she has been in. That means: Rachel has been in 60 of 63 episodes of SFU (95 %), so she gets 95 % of 76 points (SFU is on #3 of my favourite shows) and 98 % of 58 points for B&S. I only include actors from which I have seen TWO complete seasons of TWO different shows. That's all, don't care if I liked both or not. Some actors also get included if they have had a long guest role.

So far, Michael C. Hall had been the number one, but after I finished Revenge, I could give my loved and favourite tv actress Emily VanCamp the number 1 spot, she's the only actor with 3 shows on my list, so that of course earned her some additional points. I don't think her top spot will be in danger so soon, her show is running and still could improve, and the other top ten actors already have very high rated shows, so they can't rise that much anymore.

1. Emily VanCamp

Actress | Revenge

Emily Irene VanCamp (born May 12, 1986) is a Canadian actress, known for her lead roles on the WB series Everwood (2002), the ABC dramas Brothers & Sisters (2006) and Revenge (2011), and as Sharon Carter / Agent 13 in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (...

74 Points for Everwood, 39 Points for Brothers & Sisters and 44 Points for Revenge.

= 158 Points (215 episodes, incl. season 2 finale of Revenge)

Emily is my favourite girl and actress in the world, and so I'm very proud that she finally reached #1 as I finished the first season of Revenge!!! She's the only actor with 3 shows on my list, that's impressive and she's so young! She will stay on top for a while now, and Revenge could do a bit better if they keep the quality with season 3 (after 2 episodes there still is hope).

2. Lauren Graham

Actress | Gilmore Girls

Lauren Graham was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Donna Grant and Lawrence Graham, a candy industry lobbyist. Her father was from New York and her mother was from the American South, and Lauren has Irish, English, and Scottish ancestry. She grew up in Northern Virginia, USA (Fairfax, Arlington, and ...

77 Points for Gilmore Girls and 72 Points for Parenthood (incl. season 4 finale).

= 151 points (229 episodes).

Miss Lauren Graham, without words. I love her, she's funny but she can make you cry, she was fantastic and still is on Parenthood. The NBC show could has now made it in my all-time-top-ten, so Lauren is now #2. Also watched her 5 episodes on Caroline In The City. With Parenthood's probably final 5th season, she will surpass Tim Allen's 231 episodes very soon and then be the #1 of the Points+Episodes Best Of List, which she is now together with Emily VanCamp. 3(!) other actors are also very happy about the renewal!

3. Peter Krause

Actor | Six Feet Under

Peter William Krause was born on August 12, 1965, in Alexandria, Minnesota. Both his parents were teachers, and he has a sister and brother. He was raised in Roseville, Minnesota. He graduated in 1987 from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, with a degree in English literature. In ...

76 Points for Six Feet Under and 72 Points for Parenthood (incl. season 4 finale).

= 148 Points (140 episodes)

Funny coincidence: He was in SFU with #4 and is on Parenthood with #2 - and is dating Lauren (which he met for the first time back when she was on CITC end of the 90s!). :D Peter is a great drama actor, wonderful. I will watch "Dirty Sexy Money" for him, though the sneak peek I did was not that good. And I have to admit: I didn't like him on "The Lost Room". Hard to admit it, but he wasn't believable as a cop, didn't like the whole show much anyway. "Sports Night" I have watched 3 episodes, it was okay - I will give it a full season Summer '14. Sorry Peter, as long as Lauren is on your show and in every episode, she will always be one point ahead, and that's because I rated Gilmore Girls 2nd best show and SFU #3. Get over it. :D 3 Points, maybe Sports Night or Dirty Sexy Money can chnage things, but I wouldn't count on it.

4. Michael C. Hall

Actor | Dexter

Michael C. Hall was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, to Janice (Styons), a guidance counselor, and William Carlyle Hall, who worked for IBM. Michael is a graduate of NYU's Master of Fine Arts program in acting. He is known for the titular character "Dexter" in Dexter (2006) and as mortician "David ...

76 Points for Six Feet Under and 70 Points for Dexter (incl. season 1-6).

= 146 points (135 episodes).

Michael is the man, awesome actor in two very different roles on two top 10 shows. It will be very tough for Dexter to rise even higher than #8 at the moment, but if the show stays on that level, it will maybe be top 5-6 one day (from what I hear that chanes aren't good). Close to #2-3, it's a tough competition. If Dexter finishes, maybe you could take another role and then the lead is yours! But I don't think he wants that.

5. Bryan Cranston

Actor | Breaking Bad

Bryan Lee Cranston was born on March 7, 1956 in Hollywood, California, to Audrey Peggy Sell, a radio actress, and Joe Cranston, an actor and former amateur boxer. His maternal grandparents were German, and his father was of Irish, German, and Austrian-Jewish ancestry. He was raised in the Canoga ...

64 Points for Breaking Bad (incl. season 1-3) and 66 Points for Malcolm In The Middle. Also 2 points for Seinfeld (5 episodes).

= 132 points (192 episodes)

Mr. Bryan Cranston. Is he Hal, or is he Walter? Who is this man? He's a genius, that's for sure, awesome, I love him, he already was great on Seinfeld years before his two other shows started. Breaking Bad could easily reach the top 10, just have to watch season 4 someday when I'm wide awake, which will take me a while unfortunately. Yes, I should finally watch it, but still, he can be happy to be on #5 and he deserves it! That's why he isn't higher on the list...

6. Rachel Griffiths

Actress | Six Feet Under

Her mother, Anna Griffiths, is an art consultant. Her uncle is a Jesuit priest. Has two older brothers. One brother, Ben, is a ski instructor. Lived on the Gold Coast, Queensland until age five, then moved to Melbourne. Attended Star of the Sea Catholic Girls' College, did well at school and ...

72 Points for Six Feet Under and 57 Points for Brothers & Sisters.

= 129 Points (167 episodes)

Rachel is a very strong drama actress and deserves a top spot. Besides Matthew Fox (but at least I have some Party Of Five seasons missing), she's the only top 10 actor with no running show. Her "Camp" show was gone quickly and I didn't care enough to watch the pilot. Sorry.

7. Sam Jaeger

Actor | Lucky Number Slevin

Sam Jaeger began his professional career in New York, while still attending Otterbein College in Ohio, landing a guest-starring role on Law & Order (1990). He also spent several seasons doing theater in NY before making the move to Los Angeles. Once in LA, he landed parts in two feature films, ...

54 Points for Eli Stone and 71 Points for Parenthood (incl. season 4 finale). Also one more point for his guest appearance on FNL.

= 126 Points (94 episodes)

Yeah, you didn't expect him but I really like him. He's underrated. He could't show too much on Eli Stone, I admit that, but he was fun. He does a good job on Parenthood, he could do even better but doesn't get too much screentime, he's not one of the 4 Braverman kids, so it's understandable. He can play drama and be funny as well, Sam's a cool guy, I would like to see him in a bigger role. Yes, he plays a supporting role all the time, still he was on enough episodes on great shows and that's what counts. Soon this year he will hit 100, that's cool.

8. Chris Pratt

Actor | Guardians of the Galaxy

Christopher Michael "Chris" Pratt was born on June 21, 1979 in Virginia, Minnesota and raised in Lake Stevens, Washington, to Kathleen Louise (Indahl), who worked at a supermarket, and Daniel Clifton Pratt, who remodeled houses. He is of mostly Norwegian descent. He graduated from Lake Stevens High...

67 Points for Everwood and 58 Points for Parks and Recreation (incl. season 5 finale).

= 125 Points (168 episodes)

Another surprise. He wasn't too good on Everwood, yes he did play a very solid job as Bright Abbott but I often felt that there was not more to Chris. With P&R he is able to show his funny side (and singing too) and that works really well, and I also liked Bright, so Chris is on two really strong shows and Parks is one of the few or even the best current comedy for me.

9. Sarah Ramos

Actress | Parenthood

Sarah Ramos was born on May 21, 1991 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is an actress and writer, known for Parenthood (2010), City Girl (2017) and The Bear (2022). She has been married to Matt Spicer since October 25, 2020.

57 Points for Parenthood (incl. season 4 finale) and 57 Points for American Dreams (incl. season 1)

= 118 Points (80 episodes)

She's a new entry but she has to be on that list! She did a great job playing the young annoying sister on American Dreams, at first it seemed like a not so good role but she was so funny and got more interesting from episode to episode. She was even better than she is on Parenthood, which she left and I don't really mind. Maybe I could watch more American Dreams soon, that would help her. But with Parenthood, SAB and The Fosters, there's definitely way too much family drama going on atm and the next months.

10. Matthew Fox

Actor | Bone Tomahawk

Matthew Chandler Fox was born in Abington, Pennsylvania. His mother, Loretta B. (Eagono), was a schoolteacher, and his father, Francis G. Fox, was a consultant for an oil company, who raised longhorn cattle and horses and grew barley for Coors beer. He has Italian (from his maternal grandfather), ...

66 Points for LOST and 47 Points for Party Of Five (incl. season 1-3).

= 113 Points (172 episodes)

Matthew is a strong actor (not sure if he's such a nice private person, you hear things and it's definitely been too much to ignore), he did a great job on LOST (my number one show ever) and back then on Party Of Five he already could show his talent (am happy that they released two more seasons in America!). I need to watch more of him, or not, if he doesn't stop behaving like that, I wouldn't really want to see him on my screen for some time. He's the only male actor in the top 10 without any running show but I got 3 seasons of him left - and as soon as the price drops, I get ready for more Party Of Five after a long break - but I got too much family drama anyway (Parenthood, SAB, The Fosters and American Dreams), so not before Summer of 2014.

11. Dominic West

Actor | The Wire

Dominic West was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England as Dominic Gerard Francis Eagleton West. He is an actor and producer, known for The Wire (2002), Chicago (2002), 300 (2006), The Affair (2014) and The Forgotten (2004). He has been married to Catherine Fitzgerald since June 26, 2010. They have ...

68 Points for The Wire and 40 for The Hour

= 108 Points (68 episodes)

Mr. Jimmy McNulty. He's a cool guy, I adore Jimmy and then discovered Dominic's latest show The Hour. When the show took off from episode 3-6, he reached the Top 40 and that earned him a lot of points, being on two shows with limited season episodes and getting a top spot with only 12 episodes, he is Mr. Minimalistic. With The Wire, he now has a Top 10 show.

12. Neil Flynn

Actor | Mean Girls

Neil Richard Flynn is an American actor and comedian, known for his role as "The Janitor", in the medical comedy-drama, Scrubs (2001). He currently portrays "Mike Heck" in the ABC sitcom, The Middle (2009). Neil was born in the south-side of Chicago. He is of Irish descent and was raised Catholic. ...

60 Points for Scrubs and 42 Points for The Middle (incl. season 4 finale).

= 102 Points (263 episodes)

Okay, he didn't have a lead role on scrubs, but he was on 92 % of all episodes, and that's good for him, he gets the big points for that - and he was the Janitor or Jan Itor. Also starring on The Middle and that totally works, he has a different role and still is fun. Not the best actor but I like him and he makes me laugh and that are huge plus. Have you seen the episode number he has been in? From all actors with 2 shows (at least one lead and one long role), he has been in the most episodes. And it's not ending, he someday could reach over 300 episodes! And with someday I mean season 6 of The Middle, so far they are on their way of getting that one. Though the quality is dropping, I will continue watching until the every end.

13. Victor Garber

Actor | Argo

Victor Garber has been in some of the most memorable projects of the past four decades. Victor has recently appeared in The Slap (2015), The Flash (2014), Motive (2013) and Web Therapy (2011). He is currently staring in Greg Berlanti's new DC Comics Superhero series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" for ...

48 Points for Alias and 54 Points for Eli Stone.

= 102 Points (130 episodes)

I almost forgot him. From watching him on both shows, you could easily get the impression that Victor has no soul, but he's a really nice guy and a good actor.

14. Calista Flockhart

Actress | Ally McBeal

Calista Kay Flockhart was born 11 November, 1964 in Freeport, Illinois. Her mother, Kay (Honohan), was a school teacher, and her father, Ronald Flockhart, worked for Kraft Foods Inc. She has Irish, Scottish, German, and English ancestry. Calista was named after her great-grandmother.

Flockhart ...

46 Points for Ally McBeal and 54 Points for Brothers & Sisters.

= 100 Points (214 episodes).

She did a good job on both shows, she's nice to watch, not my favourite but I like to see her acting.

15. Ron Rifkin

Actor | Alias

Ron Rifkin was born on October 31, 1939 in New York City, New York, USA. He is an actor, known for Alias (2001), L.A. Confidential (1997) and Dragonfly (2002). He has been married to Iva Rifkin since August 28, 1966.

47 Points for Alias and 50 Points for Brothers & Sisters.

= 97 Points (197 episodes)

He IS Sloane, and he also was nice to see on B&S, where he didn't have too much to do, but he was in almost every episode and has now gotten so close to 200.

16. Nick Wechsler

Actor | Roswell

Nick Wechsler has been building a quality career as an actor since he was a teen. Most notably, he played series regular, Jack Porter, on the ABC's Critics' Choice nominated series "Revenge". Nick quickly became a fan favorite on the series for his brooding, dramatic but surprisingly funny ...

52 Points for Roswell and 44 Points for Revenge (incl. season 2 finale)

= 101 Points (91 episodes)

He is no great actor, maybe even not really good but he's nice enough to be on two good shows, he works as an additional supporting character and I can't say that I don't like Nick, he's a (very) nice guy, he works and he is able to deliver if he has to, what is bad about that? With Revenge rising, he managed to get his 2nd top 40 show, after reaching over 100 points, he is close of getting to 100 episodes as well. He will get them end of year!

17. D.W. Moffett

Actor | Stealing Beauty

A native of the Chicago suburb of Wilmette, D.W. Moffett never gave a thought to acting until after he graduated from Stanford University with a degree in International Relations. While he went to work at Chicago's Continental Bank, he also enrolled in an acting class to broaden his artistic ...

19 Points for Friday Night Lights and 71 Points for Switched At Birth

= 90 Points (70episodes)

Interesting actor, a mean father on FNL, and a also a bit less mean one on SAB, but he works as the slighly baddish father, he does a good job. With the 2nd season of Switched At Birth done and into the top 10, he has now risen to #17, 71 Points are a big number and 19 for FNL, that's close to 100. He's now part of 10 Top 10 shows!

18. Vanessa Marano

Actress | Saving Zoë

Vanessa Marano started acting in the theater when she was seven years old, performing in numerous plays at A.C.T. in Agoura Hills, California. She began her professional career with several national commercials.

Marano is most recognized for her roles as "April Nardini", the daughter of "Luke", in ...

71 Points for Switched At Birth, 7 Points for Gilmore Girls, 5 more for Dexter (incl. season 1-6), 2 Points for 2 episodes on Six Feet Under and she's even been guest starring on Parenthood, 1 Point. With all the commas, that's...

= 86 Points (83episodes)

She has been guest starring on Gilmore Girls (#2), Parenthood (#7), Dexter (#8), Malcom In The Middle (#10), that are top shows! Since Switched At Birth has now finished two season with 51 episodes and went to the top 10, Vanessa hit the top 20 as well. She's cute and I like her, not the best actress but she's fun to watch and a pleasure off screen in interviews. Looking forward to more Switched At Birth.

19. John Slattery

Actor | Spotlight

John Slattery was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Joan (Mulhern), a CPA, and John "Jack" Slattery, a leather merchant, both of Irish descent. John landed his first TV gig on the 1988 series The Dirty Dozen (1988) and has worked steadily since then. His television career has ...

57 Points for Mad Men and 26 Points for Jack & Bobby

= 83 Points (91 episodes)

I forgot about Roger, I'm sorry. He of course enters this interesting list on a very high place, Mad Men is a really good show and J&B gets some points but is desperately in need of a rerun to make sure how good it really is. He lost 2 spots against the stars of Switched At Birth.

20. Melissa McCarthy

Actress | The Heat

Melissa McCarthy was born in Plainfield, Illinois, to Sandra and Michael McCarthy, and was raised on her family's corn and soybean farm. She began her performing career as a stand-up comedian in New York where she appeared at the famous clubs, Stand Up New York and The Improv. She worked on her ...

61 Points for Gilmore Girls and 22 more for Samantha Who?.

= 83 Points (157 episodes)

I forgot about Melissa "Sookie St. James" McCarthy, because I forgot somehow that she was on "Samantha Who?" She was a high newentry on #18, now she's #20. I don't care about her Mike & Molly show, watched the pilot but gave up. Not too bad but not my thing.

21. Rob Lowe

Actor | St. Elmo's Fire

Rob Lowe was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, to Barbara Lynn (Hepler), a schoolteacher, and Charles Davis Lowe, a lawyer. His brother is actor Chad Lowe. He has German, as well as English, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh ancestry. Lowe's family moved to Dayton, Ohio, when he was a child. Rob broke ...

41 Points for Brothers & Sisters and 40 Points for Parks and Recreation (incl. season 5 finale).

= 81 Points (138 episodes).

Rob is a cool guy, I admit Chris has been better when he joined the show but he does a solid job on both shows and shows that he can play different characters but I strongly suggest that she show gets rid of him again, after his character was fun, he know has not much interesting stuff to do anymore. So now they're doing exactly that middle of season 6, but the show is dead anyway (ratings 1.2).

22. Scott Wolf

Actor | Nancy Drew

Scott Wolf is an actor and producer known for his roles in Party of Five (1994), White Squall (1996), Go (1999), Everwood (2002), V (2009), Perception (2012), The Night Shift (2014) and many others. In addition to his extensive work on screen and TV, Wolf's prestigious stage experience includes the...

47 Points for Party Of Five (incl. season 1-3) and 32 Points for Everwood.

= 79 Points (108 episodes).

Almost forgot him when I realised that he joined Everwood in season 3 - 28 episodes is long enough to put him on my list. Not the best actor but a nice guy, he will never look old, so he can play a teenager forever. Since Party Of Five DVDs have been released in 2013, he will get his chance for some more episodes maybe 2014.

23. Lea Thompson

Actress | Back to the Future

Lea Katherine Thompson was born May 31, 1961 in Rochester, Minnesota. She is the youngest of five children. Her parents are Barbara and Cliff Thompson. Since all her siblings were much older than her, Lea says it seemed like she had more than two parents. The family lived in the Starlight motel, ...

71 Points for Switched At Birth (incl. season 2 finale) and 5 more Points for Caroline In The City (season 1-2, 3 watching).

= 76 Points (100 episodes).

Since August 25, Lea should be also in the top 25, but as I update the list 2 month later, now she gets her spot. 71 Points for SAB and she's Caroline In The City, so she makes a big jump. But CITC is about to drop out of the Fav List, it won't hurt her much, just saying. I also watched 100 episodes with her (51 for SAB and 49 for the first two CITC seasons).

24. Alison Brie

Actress | GLOW

Alison Brie was born in Hollywood, California, to Joanne (Brenner), who worked at a non-profit child care agency, and Charles Terry Schermerhorn, a musician and entertainment reporter. Her mother is Jewish and her father has Scottish, Dutch, English, German, and Norwegian ancestry. Brie grew up in ...

19 Points for Mad Men (incl. season 6 finale) and 55 Points for Community (incl. season 4 finale).

= 74 Points (119 episodes)

Alison is fun on Community, really pretty and sweet, and nice to watch on Mad Men as well. She lost a few points for being only on a few Mad Men S5-6 episodes and Community also will fall a bit if season 5 doesn't get better.

25. Emilie de Ravin

Actress | Remember Me

Emilie was born on December 27 and grew up in Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia. When she was 15, she was accepted at the highly selective Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. However, after only a year, she dropped out and undertook acting courses.

Her first starring role was on the fantasy drama ...

43 Points for LOST and 31 Points for Roswell.

= 74 Points (95 episodes).

Impressive, she has been on two top 10 shows, a solid actress. Now Roswell dropped out the Top 10 and she's still Top 25.

26. Connie Britton

Actress | Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

Connie Britton began playing country music fading sensation Rayna Jaymes in Nashville (2012) after having wrapped production for the five season long Friday Night Lights (2006) alongside Kyle Chandler. She previously appeared in Universal's Friday Night Lights (2004) -the movie- directed by Peter ...

74 Points for Friday Night Lights and 0 Points for Spin City.

= 74 Points (125 episodes)

She did a good job on FNL, a great show and top 5 show of mine. Had not much to do on Spin City and felt out of place a couple of times, but she has been on all season 1-2 episodes I've seen and that gives her a new entry into top 30. Nice.

27. Lance Reddick

Actor | John Wick

Incisive, intense, multi-talented American actor Lance Solomon Reddick was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the younger of two sons, to Solomon Reddick and public schoolteacher Dorothy Gee. Having opted initially for a career in music, he attended first the Peabody Preparatory Institute and the Walden ...

71 Points for The Wire and 0 Points for Fringe (incl. season 2). Also 3 Points for 4 episodes on LOST.

= 74 Points (104 episodes)

Lance is great, he's so scary, but scary good. Love him on The Wire and also on Fringe (which I didn't like). Hope to see him again which I did with one episode of Wilfred.

28. Monica Potter

Actress | The Last House on the Left

From Cleveland to Hollywood, actress, producer, entrepreneur, funny woman, tear-jerker, designer, decorator, builder, creator, fixer, cook, cleaner, host, wife, Browns fan, homemaker, (very) amateur bowler and -her favorite title- mom, Monica Potter has achieved success in several different ways......

72 Points for Parenthood and 0 Points for Boston Legal.

= 72 Points (88 episodes)

Monica joins the long list of Parenthood colleagues, Peter Krause, Lauren Graham, Sarah Ramos and Sam Jaeger. She doesn't get money for Boston Legal but Parenthood is more than enough. Early next year she will get over 100 episodes.

29. Busy Philipps

Actress | He's Just Not That Into You

Busy was born Elizabeth Jean Philipps in Illinois, US. She became interested in acting when she was in fourth grade and was always starring in school productions. In the summer, she would attend theater camp.

She is more commonly known as a television actress, getting her first break on Freaks and ...

50 Points for Freaks and Geeks, 21 Points for Dawson's Creek and 0 Points for Cougar Town (incl. season 1).

= 71 Points (83 episodes)

Great angry attitude as Kim on F&G, Audrey was nice sometimes but annoying later and Laurie was just a flat character. Busy is really nice, but a super nice character doesn't work, you see how much better her angry Kim was. That was fun and interesting.

30. Jane Krakowski

Actress | 30 Rock

Jane Krakowski was born in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, to Barbara (Benoit), a college theater instructor, and Edward Krajkowski, a chemical engineer. Her father was of Polish descent and her mother has French-Canadian and Scottish ancestry.

Jane was the winner of the 2003 Tony Award for her ...

45 Points for Ally McBeal and 23 Points for 30 Rock (incl. season 1-3). Also 2 Points for guest starring on Everwood twice.

= 70 Points (164 episodes)

She's definitely not a favourite but she's there and it's somehow nice to watch her, she works well as a suppurting character not more.

31. Shiri Appleby

Actress | The Thirteenth Floor

Shiri jumped in front of the lens as a youngster appearing in Norman Lear Sunday Dinner and Lawrence Kasden's I Love You To Death. At 19 she had her breakout performance on the series Roswell, playing the leading role of Liz Parker. She went on to appear in ER, Six Degrees, as well as Mike Nichols'...

68 Points for Roswell and 0 Points for Life Unexpected.

= 68 Points (94 episodes).

I really like Shiri. Back on Roswell she did a very good job. It wasn't her fault that season 3 focused on Katherine Heigl and was not so good anymore. Life Unexpected I finished the complete series, it was a fight and Shiri struggled as well with the horrible writing most of the time. Now she's on one Fav Show (#11) and could reach over 100 episodes if her new upcoming show is ordered and broadcasted - because I will watch.

32. Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Actress | Seinfeld

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was born on January 13, 1961, in the New York City borough of Manhattan, to Judith (LeFever), a special needs tutor and author, and Gérard Louis-Dreyfus, a billionaire businessman. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she spent her childhood in Washington, D.C., and New ...

66 Points for Seinfeld, 0 Points for Veep (incl. season 2), 0 Points for TNAOOC (incl. season 1). Also 2 Points for 4 episodes of Arrested Development.

= 68 Points (205 episodes)

Julia lost a bit after Veep dropped out of my list with season 2, which was lame for too many episodes, though I like her role.

33. Joshua Jackson

Actor | Fatal Attraction

Joshua Carter Jackson was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. His Irish mother, Fiona Jackson, is a casting director originally from Dublin. His American father, John Carter Jackson, is from Texas. Josh spent the first eight years of his life in California before returning to Canada. At the age of...

67 Points for Dawson's Creek and 0 Points for Fringe (incl. season 2).

= 67 Points (165 episodes).

Definitely not the best actor but he's convenient to watch, on both shows. Fringe had a weak first season despite some good actors and an even weaker season 2, so I'm done wasting my time.

34. Portia de Rossi

Actress | Arrested Development

Portia de Rossi was born and raised in Geelong, Australia. Originally born Amanda Rogers, at 15 she changed her name to Portia, saying that it was the most daring thing she had ever done up until that point. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Melbourne, and studied ...

37 Points for Ally McBeal and 29 Points for Arrested Development.

= 66 Points (143 episodes)

Will never be a favourite, happens to be on two ~good shows.

35. Kerr Smith

Actor | Final Destination

Kerr Smith was born in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Barbara (Hess) and Rick Smith. He has a younger sister, Alison. Kerr graduated from Henderson High School in 1990 and then went on to attend the University of Vermont, graduating with a degree in Business Administration (Accounting ...

53 Points for Dawson's Creek and 0 Points for Life Unexepected. Also 11 Points for 5 episodes of Eli Stone.

= 64 Points (129 episodes).

Very strong on DC and I liked him on LUX as well but he couldn't fight the horribly bad writing, so he gets zero points for that show. He needs a new series.

36. Tim Allen

63 Points for Home Improvement and 0 Points for Last Man Standing (incl. season 1).

= 63 Points (231 episodes).

Home Improvement was one of the or maybe even the first show I fell in love with. Even if it was better then and it just okay-good today, Tim I really like a lot. I watched every Last Man Standing episode of season 1 plus 2 season 2 eps (JTT and Richard Karn), and I just can say that it's a weak, boring, unfunny show most of the time, HI was a lot better and funnier, had better characters, imagine if HI had no Jill just the LMS wife (which is not bad but also not good), no Wilson, no Al and no cool kids. Then it would suck. Sorry Tim, you are on the list cos I will finish season 1 though it hurts and annoys me.

41 Points for Alias, 21 Points for Heroes and 0 Points for Felicity (incl. season 1).

Yeah, Greg. JJ gave him the Alias job to be there, to get paid for doing practically nothing. Felicity he was better, with Heroes we will see when I rewatch the show. Solid actor, not more.

Thanks to short-lived Bunheads she is on the list. She was essential to both shows, I like her, though Emily Gilmore was super mean often enough.

Oh boi, he's been on The Wire, FNL and Parenthood? All 3 top 10 shows shows of mine! What a career. And I really liked all 3 roles. Very cool guy, hope he gets his own show with a lead role. Yes, still hoping! He deserves that! Did a fantastic job as Vince Howard in the final two FNL seasons!

42 Points for Switched At Birth and 16 Points for Brothers & Sisters

= 58 Points (60 episodes).

Another SAB Actor enteres the list, joining D.W. Moffett, Vanessa Marano and Lea Thompson. Not the best roles but a nice additional foreign background character. Now he's been on 30 episodes of both of his show, changing soon.

50 Points for Eli Stone and 4 Points for Veronica Mars. Also 1 Point for her great guest role on Nikita.

= 54 Points (64 episodes)

Julie is also a favourite of mine, she's pretty, cute and just pure pleasure to watch, she was great on Eli Stone and got a really good role on Dallas, which developed in a very interesting direction in season 2. And also the show got a lot better with the almost good season, so they'll hit the top 75 very soon. Ah, Julie. :)

On two comedy shows, in that category she's quite unique together with Julia Louis-Dreyfus of course. She's doing fine with The Big Bang Theory and that's all.
