Unlike the other two movies which were only popular in Japan, this series gained some international attention. Avoid the English dubbed version since it attempts to delete many Japanese specific historical and cultural references (including references to onmyoji). Also BE WARNED that the anime is significantly more violent and perverse than any other adaptations of the novel, featuring some disturbing sexual imagery. If you're uncomfortable with this stuff, skip this and watch the live action movie instead.

Like TOKYO BABYLON, the representation of onmyoji and their powers in this series were influenced from TOKYO: THE LAST MEGALOPOLIS.
