1. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011)

PG-13 | 129 min | Action, Adventure, Mystery

48 Metascore

Detective Sherlock Holmes is on the trail of criminal mastermind Professor Moriarty, who is carrying out a string of random crimes across Europe.

Director: Guy Ritchie | Stars: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Jared Harris, Rachel McAdams

Votes: 479,981 | Gross: $186.85M

9/10. Point 1: This was my first movie of the year so it's always good to start the year with a good movie! Point 2: I gave it 9, although it doens't seem straight on but 8 also seems too be a little weak for this movie. Sherlock Holmes keeps the amazing environment of the first one, and Robert Downey Jr. keeps his performance natural and smooth. Everyone is great in this movie, I have to say I was a bit dissapointed when I was sure Irene was dead :(. Jared Harris has a very good performance, but Professor Moriarty didn't come out as strong of a character as he was looking to be. Overall the movie was very good and as great as the first one. Looking out for a third installment judging by the end. (Hopefully)

2. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)

R | 158 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery

71 Metascore

Journalist Mikael Blomkvist is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for 40 years by young computer hacker Lisbeth Salander.

Director: David Fincher | Stars: Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer, Stellan Skarsgård

Votes: 494,358 | Gross: $102.52M

8/10. Thrilling story with a lot going on, at least in the beginning. Rooney Mara as an amazing performance through out, and the ending gets you thinking and wondering and hoping for the sequel to come out. Daniel Craig with another awesome performance as always. This story is intriging up until the point where you find out who is the killer, then for a while you just don't care anymore. For the sake of the story and the will you have to solve the mistery yourself through out the development of the story, very solid movie and lets hope the sequel comes out quickly.

3. Man on a Ledge (2012)

PG-13 | 102 min | Action, Crime, Thriller

40 Metascore

As a police psychologist works to talk down an ex-con who is threatening to jump from a Manhattan hotel rooftop, the biggest diamond heist ever committed is in motion.

Director: Asger Leth | Stars: Sam Worthington, Elizabeth Banks, Jamie Bell, Mandy Gonzalez

Votes: 158,462 | Gross: $18.62M

7/10. Man on a Ledge has good acting all round, surprisingly good acting by Jamie Bell who's just all around BAD! And the amazing Ed Harris is in it. Great tension created through out the film in the moments Sam Worthington is "on the ledge", What is film lacks is a nice twist to it, although there is a surprise in the end (no spoiler), is not exactly a twist, great chemistry as little has the time is between David Englander and Dante Marcus. Man on a Ledge will keep you watching, but be advice if you don't like a movie with racional moments that need time to be thought out, this movie is not for you.

4. Underworld: Awakening (2012)

R | 88 min | Action, Fantasy, Thriller

39 Metascore

When human forces discover the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, a war to eradicate both species commences. The vampire warrior Selene leads the battle against humankind.

Directors: Måns Mårlind, Björn Stein | Stars: Kate Beckinsale, Michael Ealy, India Eisley, Stephen Rea

Votes: 161,086 | Gross: $62.32M

7/10. I never saw the previous ones, but from what I've heard I didn't need to see the 3rd one to see this, but anyways the story is recaped in the beggining. This story is your basic continuation of sotires and the movies is pretty dark in its whole, the Girl that plays Selene's daughter is amazing in this movie, and amazing fight scenes, this movie has amazing special effects and it really looks great. Go watch it if your a fan of the saga and/or a fan of the genre of film!

5. Warrior (2011)

PG-13 | 140 min | Action, Drama, Sport

71 Metascore

The youngest son of an alcoholic former boxer returns home, where he's trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament - a path that puts the fighter on a collision course with his estranged, older brother.

Director: Gavin O'Connor | Stars: Tom Hardy, Nick Nolte, Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Morrison

Votes: 497,394 | Gross: $13.66M

8/10. From start to end this movie feels real, and Nick Nolte gives you a performance like he didnt give for a long ass time! Warrior tells you an intense story that will keep you watching until the last secon, if you are also a wrestling fan it might be of your interest that Kurt Angle is in the movie.

6. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)

PG | 136 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

51 Metascore

Two Jedi escape a hostile blockade to find allies and come across a young boy who may bring balance to the Force, but the long dormant Sith resurface to claim their original glory.

Director: George Lucas | Stars: Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, Jake Lloyd

Votes: 855,354 | Gross: $474.54M

8/10. This movie only gets an 8 because of the 3D element that is to it. Star Wars: Episode I - The PHantom Menca is by far the worst of the star wars movies, not a bad movie at all, but the worst in comparison to the others. I love Liam Neeson's performance in this movie, the worst happening in 1999 if you ask me is the death of Qui-Gon Jinn. Combining "Star Wars" and 3D was a bold move by Lucas but in the end an effective one becuase it turns out great!

7. Hugo (2011)

PG | 126 min | Adventure, Drama, Family

83 Metascore

In 1931 Paris, an orphan living in the walls of a train station gets wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.

Director: Martin Scorsese | Stars: Asa Butterfield, Chloë Grace Moretz, Christopher Lee, Ben Kingsley

Votes: 336,606 | Gross: $73.86M

8/10. Once in a lifetime you find a movie that's as compeling as this one, I believe this one deserves the oscar, but I'm sure The Artist will get that one (hope I'm wrong), my stading ovation goes to Sacha Baron Cohen & Ben Kingsley, two of my favorite actors going to a whole nother lever in this movie and you can feel the emotion, thats how good the film is, althoguh there are parts you will feel nothing happening and nothing's developing its amazing how what you think is one thing turns into something so much bigger and fantastic.

8. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011)

PG-13 | 96 min | Action, Fantasy, Thriller

34 Metascore

Johnny Blaze, tortured by the Ghost Rider's curse, gets a chance of redemption through protecting the Devil's son, whose father is pursuing him.

Directors: Mark Neveldine, Brian Taylor | Stars: Nicolas Cage, Ciarán Hinds, Idris Elba, Violante Placido

Votes: 126,113 | Gross: $51.77M

4/10. Have you ever wanted to cry in desperation but you couldn't if you never had that feeling you will when you see Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. First of all I don't know what was on Nicolas Cage's mind to make Johnny Blaze such a different character than he was on the first film, I can see that maybe this movie was made as a remake and not as a sequel. The story sucks ass! Ghost Rider and Johnny Blaze's relationship in this film is made to be like a Burce Banner/Hulk type of thing, which is completly non-snse. See the movie if you liked the 1st one and/or if you like marvel and superhero movies. Other than that spare yourself. BTW Nicolas Cage's acting is just fine, nothing to do with the character he's playing but fine nonetheless.

9. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012)

PG | 94 min | Action, Adventure, Comedy

41 Metascore

Sean Anderson partners with his mom's husband on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island.

Director: Brad Peyton | Stars: Josh Hutcherson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Luis Guzmán

Votes: 111,999 | Gross: $103.86M

7/10. Awesome movie! Tons of fun and loads of action. The Rock and Michael Caine are great and the moments you have between their two characters are awesome, they have great chemestry together. Luiz Guzman is hillarious as he ever is. Vanessa Hudgens is surpringly good and looks t have potential, and Josh Hutcherson has got a bright future ahead of him. Go see this movie, it really is great, if you want a good adventure that catches your interest from the begining you got it right here.

10. John Carter (2012)

PG-13 | 132 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

51 Metascore

Transported to Barsoom, a Civil War vet discovers a barren planet seemingly inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians. Finding himself prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter Woola and a princess in desperate need of a savior.

Director: Andrew Stanton | Stars: Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Willem Dafoe, Samantha Morton

Votes: 285,954 | Gross: $73.08M

9/10. I had much expectations for John Carter, the bad news is it did not live up to those expectations, the good news is it didn't stop being awesome by not doing so. But looking back in the long term, I gotta say John Carter kicked all the asses! So far it's the movie of the year. John Carter starts off very well with an intringing enough plot to keep watchign and wondering, when Carter's nephew starts reading his letter I just think they lose too much time telling the part of the story when he is still on earth. Now the movie has some parts (too many, and to note, unnecessary) that seems a bit dead, and the action should have been less seperated from each other. Woola's a really great and likable character, I wish Kantos Khan (James Purefoy) could have been a more important character somehow. Finally I gotta say Taylor Kitsch was amazing in this movie, John Carter is amazing I recomend it to any other fantasy fans out there, and thos who read the book as well. Looking forward for the sequels, sooner rather than later.

11. The Hunger Games (2012)

PG-13 | 142 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

68 Metascore

Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games: a televised competition in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to fight to the death.

Director: Gary Ross | Stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci

Votes: 1,002,370 | Gross: $408.01M

7/10. The Hunger Games catches you with a captivating story and a cast that will not dissapoint you. Like I noted in "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island." Josh Hutcherson has a bright future ahead of him, Jennifer Lawrence is seriously a great actress with an amazing amount of talent and doesn't stop impressing you. Th only problem I have in this movie is that it focused way too much on Katniss and sort of leaves the other characters in the *beep* You see only her prespective through out the entire movie. I loved seeing Donald Sutherland playing a villain. Go see it and await the sequel like I am. P.S.: Don't you dare compare this to Twilight.

12. The Lorax (2012)

PG | 86 min | Animation, Adventure, Comedy

46 Metascore

A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

Directors: Chris Renaud, Kyle Balda | Stars: Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms

Votes: 129,577 | Gross: $214.03M

7/10. The Lorax sends a terrific message and a very well done movie, the problem I have with it is that The Lorax is a story within the story. Mr. O'Hare is a very evil and a the same time very funny villain, the number of musical scenes in this movie will perhaps annoy you and there's a part of the story that could have turn out differently. You go watch it, if you like Dr. Seuss's tales you'll like The Lorax to a certain level of enjoyment, a level that will keep you watching, but that's it.

13. Wrath of the Titans (2012)

PG-13 | 99 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

37 Metascore

Perseus braves the treacherous underworld to rescue his father, Zeus, captured by his son, Ares, and brother Hades who unleash the ancient Titans upon the world.

Director: Jonathan Liebesman | Stars: Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Rosamund Pike, Ralph Fiennes

Votes: 195,453 | Gross: $83.67M

8/10. This movie didn't live up to all that it promised, but giving a 7 leaves it to low in my mind, that's the reason of the 8 grade. Wrath Of The Titans although it has a bigger sense of adventure than the first, leaves you wishing in certain things. Ares is able to deafeat Hades AND Zeus? Go *beep* with someone else's mind. And Hades turn good just doesn't feel right, specially the part where Perseus doesn't remember their past. Zeus and Hades could have been flying around when battling Kronos, but whatever. Sam Worthington is a great actor, anyone who says differently has some screws who need fixing. The War against Kronos is awesome, Agenor just could have been more of an essencial character. Rosamund Pike turn Andromeda, which in the first movie was an ugly nobody gives as *beep* bitch, into a pretty, kick-ass female warrior. Wrath Of The Titans will do good enough for Greek mithology fans.

14. American Reunion (2012)

R | 113 min | Comedy

49 Metascore

Jim, Michelle, Stifler, and their friends reunite in East Great Falls, Michigan for their high school reunion.

Directors: Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg | Stars: Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Chris Klein

Votes: 223,671 | Gross: $57.01M

8/10. Why 8? Because this movie is awesome! I wasnt expecting any movie masterpiece or anything, I was expecting a good laugh out loud comedy that you'll have fun and you can relate to. American Reunion surprasses by far any of the others. With a good story, only I would have focused more on the reunion itself, but this movie is awesome and you can picture yourself with your friends from highschool and/or college, and you'll see yourself in 10 years or so and try picture how you and your greatest friends in the future. So see it, have realistic expectations and you will not be dissapointed.

15. We Bought a Zoo (2011)

PG | 124 min | Comedy, Drama, Family

58 Metascore

Set in Southern California, a father moves his young family to the countryside to renovate and re-open a struggling zoo.

Director: Cameron Crowe | Stars: Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Thomas Haden Church, Elle Fanning

Votes: 151,563 | Gross: $75.62M

8/10. Fun family movie, it's got animals an good performances all around, not much too say, it's fun and you'll have a good time, it's worth it.

16. The Avengers (2012)

PG-13 | 143 min | Action, Sci-Fi

69 Metascore

Earth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.

Director: Joss Whedon | Stars: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner

Votes: 1,458,040 | Gross: $623.28M

10/10. WOW! WOW! WOW! W.O.W!!! This is the best movie ever! THIS IS THE MOVIE! THE COMIC BOOK MOVIE! Everything abotu this movie is right, Cast, performance, the writing, the visuals, the characters themselves. The Avengers will no dissapoint anyone, I don't understand how anybody would talk bad about this movie, I know the rating it has right now will decrease even more and I won't change my mind about this but it just bugs me inside, I know there's someone out there who will agree with me. To resume the film is three words is: "They've made it!". The Avengers are amazing, and every bit of the movie elevates your spirits! And you can't keep a smile off your face after you watch it. It's got action, comedy, drama, a little bit of a thrill. The Avengers reign right now (IN MY MIND) The Greatest Movie EVER!

17. Battleship (2012)

PG-13 | 131 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

41 Metascore

A fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.

Director: Peter Berg | Stars: Alexander Skarsgård, Brooklyn Decker, Liam Neeson, Rihanna

Votes: 257,094 | Gross: $65.42M

6/10. Great visuals, and I would not call this a "bad" story. but the dialogue doesn't lead to nowhere special and there's no twist in the movie, something that would be fun to explore would be why the aliens didn't attack them when they were face to face with the humans and how and/or why they looked a little bit like us in a way. If you have no other movie you are interested in seeing go see this, it'll be fun but it will not give you the feeling that you watched a great movie.

18. The Dictator (2012)

R | 83 min | Comedy

58 Metascore

The heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.

Director: Larry Charles | Stars: Sacha Baron Cohen, Anna Faris, John C. Reilly, Ben Kingsley

Votes: 334,247 | Gross: $59.65M

7/10. Very funny, great actually, but with all the hype and how i missed watching a Sacha Baron Cohen movie, it didn't get as much as I tought it would, Borat is much better! And now I'm convinced that Borat is and will always be Sacha Baron Cohen's best movie. Of course The Dictator is not in the same format but it's funny enough so you'll have a good time, and I'd not say I was "dissapointed" but just didn't get what I expected.

19. Men in Black³ (2012)

PG-13 | 106 min | Action, Adventure, Comedy

58 Metascore

Agent J travels in time to M.I.B.'s early days in 1969 to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history.

Director: Barry Sonnenfeld | Stars: Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Jemaine Clement

Votes: 386,585 | Gross: $179.02M

8/10. I'm someone who loves time-travel, so this movie would almost certainly be great! And it was. Finally a movie that's about K and J as well, and seeing Josh Brolin in the big screen is always great, the story is awesome! and a heart warmign moment in the end of the movie makes anything you could possibly not like worth it, Tommy Lee Jones should have had more on-screen time, and they could've explored more characters in the movie. For example, The nightcrawler aliens could've gone with J to the past, even if by accident, and also Zed should've appeared when J was in 1969. All in all a great movie, maintainning the status of MIB, better than the 2nd movie, not sure about the 1st one.

20. Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)

PG-13 | 127 min | Action, Adventure, Biography

57 Metascore

In a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.

Director: Rupert Sanders | Stars: Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Sam Claflin

Votes: 302,183 | Gross: $155.33M

8/10. WOW! what an AWESOME fantasy movie. This movie is awesoem, it really, REALLY, is. My props to Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, and hard to believe, Kristen Stewart. Charlize Theron gives The Evil Queen/Ravenna a psichotic twist to the character thats works wonderfly, Chris Hemsworth is one of the main stars in the future of cinema IMO. I'm not a fan of Kristen Stewart but I consider her a good actress, and in this movie she might just have started to make me a fan, when she eats the apple I felt asfixiated myself by her performance. I was already a Sam Caiflin fan from "The Pillars of the Earth." but in this movie he didn't enter that much so you could admire is performance. I was so happy when the Queen's brother die, that guy was dreadful, not the character, but the actor himself, he just didn't seem to fit and it always felt like when he was around it felt a little crowded. Great movie, see it you'll not regret it one bit.

21. Prometheus (I) (2012)

R | 124 min | Adventure, Mystery, Sci-Fi

64 Metascore

Following clues to the origin of mankind, a team finds a structure on a distant moon, but they soon realize they are not alone.

Director: Ridley Scott | Stars: Noomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron

Votes: 643,511 | Gross: $126.48M

8/10. What a great movie, Prometheus brings scifi to a wholenother level! I don't understand why all the hate on this. It's not better than Alien, but it's not any worse either. Michael Fassbender is so freaking fantastic in this movie, not any character is boring and there are no dead parts in the movie. I'm hoping the sequele doesn't tard in coming to cinemas, Riddley Scott is a freaking genius. Prometheus will give you everything your expecting if you're a scifi fan!

22. Chernobyl Diaries (2012)

R | 86 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller

Six tourists hire an extreme tour guide who takes them to the abandoned city Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. During their exploration, they soon discover they are not alone.

Director: Bradley Parker | Stars: Jesse McCartney, Jonathan Sadowski, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Nathan Phillips

Votes: 68,601 | Gross: $18.12M

6/10. If you're a Horror fan, don't expect to see a movie that you'll talk about when speaking of horror movie classics, the movie could have been a lot more. And the ending is just so freking stupid!

23. Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012)

PG | 88 min | Animation, Adventure, Comedy

49 Metascore

Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon another adventure after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world.

Directors: Steve Martino, Michael Thurmeier | Stars: Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Aziz Ansari

Votes: 224,611 | Gross: $161.32M

7/10. I don't understand all the hate on this movie! It's pretty fun, and besides, its predecessor (Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinossaurs) is the best in the franchise. If anything the 1st Ice Age movie is the worst of them all. Great voice acting and fun new characters to add in if they make a 5th film, which I hope they do.

24. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

PG-13 | 136 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

66 Metascore

After Peter Parker is bitten by a genetically altered spider, he gains newfound, spider-like powers and ventures out to save the city from the machinations of a mysterious reptilian foe.

Director: Marc Webb | Stars: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Irrfan Khan

Votes: 701,312 | Gross: $262.03M

7/10. A 7 might seem a little to much, because this movie is NOT better than Spider-Man 3, the movie itself is pretty cool! The story is good and there are a lot of good performances. I am not someone who disrespects other peoples opinions, but if you think Andrew Garlfield is a good actors, you have no brains! You're a complete retard! The guy is the worst actor I've ever seen! Completly no emotion whatsoever! He's either smiling or he's with his no expression face, and what the hell is it with Peter Parker waving his arms like he's happy or having a rap battle wihile telling Flash Thompson is bulliyng a kid in the patium of the school. Rhys Ifans was someone that to me seemed as the worst choice to Curt Connors, but the guy played the role beautifully, and Emma Stone has a bright future ahead of her. Lizard was a great villain. My only complaints are some scenes that make no sense and/or are to long and Andrww Garfield, have him not play in another movie! PLEASE!

25. Ted (2012)

R | 106 min | Comedy

62 Metascore

John Bennett, a man whose childhood wish of bringing his teddy bear to life came true, now must decide between keeping the relationship with the bear, Ted or his girlfriend, Lori.

Director: Seth MacFarlane | Stars: Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane, Joel McHale

Votes: 656,013 | Gross: $218.82M

8/10. The cream of the crop of comedy! Seth McFarlane at his best! This movie will give you such a good time, it will be so much fun, very well spent afternoon/evening. Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis work very well together. And is so mcuh more fun adding a talking Teddy Bear that is anything but a normal teddy bear. and then you have everything and everyone from pop-culture. From Flash Gordon to Ryan Reynolds, from having a drugged teddy bear to having that same teddy bear beating the *beep* out of his owner. Watch Ted, if you're a normal person you won't be dissapointed because you'll know what to expect when you're watching a comedy.

26. Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012)

7/10. Expect to have fun and you'll not be dissapointed.

27. The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

Votes: 1,824,560 | Gross: $448.14M

9/10. Amazing! Christopher Nolan gives us an epic finale to and epic trilogy, and with this, the world gets the greatest trilogy ever! Astounding performance by Tom Hardy, the guy only has his eyes to transmit to the audience emotions and he NAILS it. Great performance by everyone in this movie, incredible dialogues and cinematography. This is a movie for everyone, non-comic-book fans, and as I can speak for myself, comic-book fans will enjoy this more than everyone, this is one of the greatest movie I've ever seen, the best movie in the trilogy, and this has to AT LEASt get nominated for an oscar, not necessarly win, but get him nominated please! Go see this movie and enjoy the greatest 2h45m of your life, I applaud everyone involved in this film and in this trilogy, Thank you Christopher Nolan! You genius of a man.

28. The Expendables 2 (2012)

R | 103 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

51 Metascore

Mr. Church reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat.

Director: Simon West | Stars: Sylvester Stallone, Liam Hemsworth, Randy Couture, Jean-Claude Van Damme

Votes: 322,059 | Gross: $85.02M

8/10. How great is this movie? I'm serious, if you are not entertained when watching this, just kill yourself. The action heroes of the 80s and 90s all together to bring 2 hours os fun, action, testosterone, martial arts and explosions. And besides, the sotry is pretty good in my opinion. And this movie just goes to show people what a great actor Van Damme is, his role in this movie is awesome, then you have Schwarzenegger, the greatest actino star EVER! I'll back he says, and I hope they'll all be back for another movie.

29. Brave (2012)

PG | 93 min | Animation, Adventure, Comedy

69 Metascore

Determined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom. Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse.

Directors: Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman, Steve Purcell | Stars: Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters

Votes: 441,681 | Gross: $237.28M

8/10. What the *beep* is wrong with people bashing this movie? This movie is so great, another great delivery by Pixar, I heard a lot of people say this is Pixar's worst, my thoughts were: "ok, just because it's the worst does not mean it's bad itself.". But after watching it, are you people *beep* nuts? You think Cars is better than this? Cars is like the most boring movie EVER! even the sequel is boring but it's still better than the 1st installement. And let me just talk about Finding Nemo, that movie to me defines over-rated, Finding Nemo has an 8.1 average, and that just amazes me, this movie is so great, it's not Pixar's worst, and it's not even near being the worst, I love A Bug's Life, but Brave is better, so don't be crazy to the point of considering Brave Pixar's worst movie.

30. The Bourne Legacy (2012)

PG-13 | 135 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

61 Metascore

An expansion of the universe from Robert Ludlum's novels, centered on a new hero whose stakes have been triggered by the events of the previous three films.

Director: Tony Gilroy | Stars: Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Scott Glenn

8/10. Yet another movie on which I don't understand the hate people have on it. The Bourne Legacy brings the specialities of the Bourne Saga, such as the mano-a-mano fight scene and the car chase (in this case motorcycle chase), Jeremy Renner makes for an awesome action star. And I was so astonished by Rachel Weisz's performance, she's such an amazing actress! This movie has the adrenaline necessary and a great story, havign the perfect balance between having it's issues to deal with and depending on the previous movies's issues. So putting this review in simple terms, this one is better than Identity and Supremacy and as good as Ultimatum.

Director: Len Wiseman | Stars: Colin Farrell, Bokeem Woodbine, Bryan Cranston, Kate Beckinsale

Votes: 266,139 | Gross: $58.88M

7/10. Let's get to the point right away, not as good as the original one, has its differences and its similarities, similarities such as you new to have in classic movie remake. Collin Farrell is great in this movie, but in my opinion, best movie character goes to Kate Beckinsale, who, if you look at it in a certain way, plays two roles from the original movie in this one, Cranston could have been used a little better, and as much as I love Bill Nighy, I don't get why cast such and amazing actor for him to show up for 5 minutes. So to finish, go see this one if you've seen the original one, you'll like it, and if you haven't seen the original, you'll like it even more. Awesome special effects, and if you have seen the original Total Recall, the some differences you'll actually like, at least I did.

Director: Oliver Stone | Stars: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Benicio Del Toro

Votes: 134,436 | Gross: $47.38M

6/10. First of all this movie as an amazing cast. Best character goes to Benicio Del Toro without a doubt, John Travolta is John *beep* Travolta as you would expect from such an awesome actor, Salma Hayek is great as well, then you have Taylor Kitsch is really a good actor, plays a very intense role in this, I don't know what is people's problem with him, Aaron Johnson proves again to be a good actor, just liek in Kick-Ass, but then you have Blake Lively, who is, in fact, and without a shadow of a doubt to me, awful! just like in that awful tv series she's inand in Green Lantern, but at least in GL she was believable, in one scene or two. I'll give this one a 6 for the acting in general and the story, which is good, but not great, what ultimatly fails to me is that this movie is just to damn *beep* slow!

Director: Pete Travis | Stars: Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, Lena Headey, Rachel Wood

Votes: 293,902 | Gross: $13.41M

8/10. Easily one of the best action movies I've ever seen in my life! Dredd is such a character, and there's no way you can hate Anderson! Lena Headey gives a strong performance that is in no way a lighter version of her Cersei Lannister. With a good plot, very well paced action, with no shame of being graphic when it comes to violence and very good performances all around, Dredd gives you a hell of time and for a movie that's only 90minutes long, this exeded my expectations. Go see Dredd if you like action, a good story, and if you like and overall good movie.

Votes: 322,412 | Gross: $139.85M

8/10. I'll be the first one to tell with, making this sequel was very dangerous, and I never wished for it in the 1st place, of course, I would never refuse it if they ever decided to do it, which they did, an by GOD they pulled it the *beep* off! This movie maintains the story quality and the production quality of the 1st one, a very good and entertaining action thriller with Liam Neeson kicking ass, I don't understand how someone can say this was bad, if you are not entertained by this, might as well just kill yourself, because it's hard, not impossible, but hard to find a movie, or even better, a sequel, as good as this.

Votes: 602,444 | Gross: $66.49M

9/10. What a fabulous movie! I'll have to start up by saying that I'm a sucker for when it comes to time-travel. And if even add Bruce Willis to the equation, you've got yours truly buying a ticket! Joseph-Gordon Levitt plays his role beautifully, has do Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, a comeplling story, that comes to a full circle, litterally. If you want a good story, good acting, and good time in general, then go see looper, you wont be dissapointed. This will be in my blu-ray collection when it comes out, that's for sure!

9/10. WOW! I cannot talk about what I haven't seen, but this is the greatest Bond movie ever made, amazingly written movie, great photography, and a great cast! Daniel Craig is defnetly the best Bond ever. Javier Bardem is now one of my all time favorite villains in cinema history! Every scene is shot with such great camera work I cannot even describe, go see this if you want a great movie, go see this if you like Bond, so see this if you like great stories, go see this to get all the references to early Bond movies!

9/10. Can anybody even think abotu *beep* on this?! To gamers this has got to be the greatest movie EVER! The animation is great, and there is not ONE unlikeable character in this movie, everyone loves villains if their bad, but a villian who DOESN'T want to be bad? That's like the greatest idea ever. Wreck-it Ralph puts together and amazing ensemble of characters, and brings you a great story full of funny movies that will keep you glued to the screen. This is seriously the best animated movie of the year!

6/10. Not much to say really, I guess if you ever played the games it will be a lot of fun to watch this, but guess what? (SPOILER ALERT!!) SEAN BEAN DOESN'T DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that is the most epic thing about this movie.

40. Rise of the Guardians (2012)

Director: Peter Ramsey | Stars: Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher, Chris Pine

Votes: 192,360 | Gross: $103.41M

8/10. How come everybody is *beep* on this? Santa, Easter Bunny, even the Sandman are so BADASS! And I just love how a great villain Pitch is, just to show you your power can turn against you if you lose control. what I can say is that this movie comes to a point midway where Jack Frost gets all the attention, and I think it is wrong, this is Rise Of The Guardians, not Rise Of Jack Frost, I started up not giving a *beep* about him, but in the end, I kinda relate myself to him in some way. This movie has great animation a great voice cast, and very good characters, as the way they are portrayed!

41. Red Dawn (2012)

PG-13 | 93 min | Action, Drama, War

31 Metascore

A group of teenagers look to save their town from an invasion of North Korean soldiers.

Director: Dan Bradley | Stars: Chris Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas, Josh Hutcherson, Josh Peck

Votes: 80,478 | Gross: $44.81M

6/10. I was enjoying this so much, while watching this I was wondering how come everyone was bringing this down. Tell you what, this movie ha great action a fun enough story that you can see yourself in it (in some way). A lot of good performances, mainly Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (who, is it just me, or he's fat as all hell?!) but why does josh peck have to scream all the damn time! Everytime he talks is either screaming or he repeats what he say twice, the second time screaming!? This guy is awful I hope I don't have to see him in a movie again. Where this movie ultimatly fails and dissapoints is that the best character in the movie, and the only character with any development through out the movie, DIES! HOW CAN HE *beep* DIE?! Thats is not how you make a movie! It simply isn't.

42. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

Votes: 872,107 | Gross: $303.00M

9/10. WOW! This movie is so amazing, there's no possible way anyone can hate this movie! IF you liked Lord of The Rings you'll absolutly, most defnetly love The Hobbit! I'm such a fanboy for Gandalf right now, and Thorin Oakenshield totally owns the movie, best character! The visuals are amazing, as it was to be expected from Mr. Peter Jackson. All the actors are very well chosen and give great performances, the dwarves are simply awesome! There just likeable, all of them! It was awesome to see Saruman, Elrond and Galadriel again. I loved the flow of this movie, it goes by so fast, you think you're in the beggining at the movie is over! And if you want an honest opinion, even if you don't liek 3D, go see this in 48fps 3D, it is simply the most amazing movie experience you'll ever get!!!

43. Hotel Transylvania (2012)

Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teenaged daughter.

Director: Genndy Tartakovsky | Stars: Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez

Votes: 280,554 | Gross: $148.31M

7/10. This movie is very fun, and it's even more fun if you are a fan of the classic monsters, and classic monster movies. Dracula is absolutly the best character in this, and every monster has something unique to them that makes them a one of a kind character in this movie, except for Mavis and Jonathan... I didn't give a *beep* about those two. Overall, go see it, it's good animation, a good hour and a half, it's not gonna win best animated movie, but you'll laugh and have fun and that's what matters. After all, so many amazing animated movies came out, it would be hard to equal them, not to mention top them.
