My Fifty Shades of Grey Cast

A compilation of the possible cast members in the Fifty Shades Trilogy, based on my personal opinion.

I've tried to make the list as realistic as possible, taking into account the actors' physical resemblances to the book characters, acting abilities from previous roles as well as budget constraints.

Casting directors are unlikely to choose big name stars with expensive pay-checks like Johnny Depp or Kristen Stewart* to play leads because regardless of who is cast, the films have enough hype/controversy surrounding them to earn a hefty profit alone... and if profit is everything, why waste it on overpaid actors? With a few top-notch actors as exceptions of course.

*Note that there is no one from the major Twilight cast on this list. Although Fifty Shades started out as a Twilight fanfiction, I think (and hope) the film will try to separate itself and create something different. You know what they say - been there, done that! But it would be nice if they could pay an homage to Twilight in some other aspect of the film.

Also note, there is more than one choice for the roles of Ana and Christian. This was just an issue of whether there would be chemistry between the male and female leads. Hopefully you get the picture :)
