These are all the movies that won the Oscar for Best Costume Design. The designers that won the Oscar are listed in the description. The award was first given in 1948. From 1948 to 1966, except for 1957 and 1958, the category was split into two with one being for movies that were in Black-and-White and the other being for movies that were in Color. In 1967, the two categories merged back into one.
