Lazar Ristovski was born in Ravno Selo in the province of Vojvodina. He graduated from the Teacher College in Sombor, and then completed the Belgrade Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduating as an actor. He lives and works in Belgrade. At the beginning of his career, he was deeply dedicated to theater performance where he masterfully played the classical repertoire including Shakespeare and Moliere; his creations of Hamlet at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival - directed by Oscar winner Jiri Menzel, and his interpretations of Don Juan and Amadeus are well-known. He appeared in many productions of plays by local writers such as Ducan Kovacevic, Aca Popovic, Stevan Koprivica, Sinisa Kovacevic, Radoslav Pavlovic. He delivered more than 4,000 performances. Bora Todorovic was born in Belgrade, in the teacher's family which was first led by service to Milanovac. He had lost his father there during his childhood and then the family moved to Arandjelovac. Then followed going to Belgrade, secondary school and army service. He had not dreamed about acting but he was imperceptible bitten by this profession fever, since his elder sister Mira Stupica, had already been considerably infected with this fever. On Belgrade Drama Arts Academy he was taught secrets of craft in class of Jozo Laurencic, together with Ljuba Tadic and Slobodan 'Cica' Perovic. His first theatre engagement was in Belgrade Drama Theatre. When Mira and her husband Bojan Stupica had got engagement in Zagreb, Bora went with them and for four years (1957-1961) he spent there he got his self-confidence playing great and significant roles. After that he came back in Belgrade, in Atelje 212, where was roles like: "Arsenic and Old Laces" by Kesselring, "Maratonci trce pocasni krug" and "Radovan III" by Dusan Kovacevic, "Cudo u Sarganu" by Ljubomir Simovic... We remember series such as Radjanje radnog naroda (1969), Ceo zivot za godinu dana (1971), Diplomci (1971) ... His work on movie, after debut in U mrezi (1956), really started with Prague school directors breakthrough - Goran Paskaljevic, Goran Markovic, Slobodan Sijan. He played in Who's Singin' Over There? (1980), Montenegro (1981), Maratonci trce pocasni krug (1982), Balkan ekspres (1983), Balkan Spy (1984) and finally Time of the Gypsies (1988) by Emir Kusturica where his magnificent talent was fully expressed. The whole decade (1986-1996) Bora was absent from stage and his come-back was in "Lari Tompson, tragedija jedne mladosti" by Dusan Kovacevic in Zvezdara Theatre in Belgrade. Milan Gutovic was a Serbian and Yugoslav actor, cabaret performer, and television personality. He graduated from the High School of Electrical Engineering "Nikola Tesla" in Belgrade, where he earned the nickname "Lane". Initially, Gutovic wanted to study at the Faculty of Mathematics, although he later enrolled in the Belgrade Academy for theater, cinema, radio, and television, from which he graduated in 1967. Later that year, he became a member of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre. After becoming a member of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre in 1967, he and other now-prominent actors became members of the so-called "Bojan's babies" club which included actors that were part of a permanent engagement in the Yugoslav Drama Theatre. Gutovic's film career began in 1968, in the movie "Bekstva". His first main role in a movie was in Mica Milosevic's movie "Drugarcine", which was recorded in 1979. Two years later, Gutovic was contacted by Milosevic to act in "Laf u srcu" where he played Srecko Sojic. Gutovic continued his role as Srecko Sojic in "Tesna koza", which was recorded in 1982. His first major role on television was in the comedy series "Diplomci", although, he earned more popularity in "Bolji zivot" and "Otvorena vrata". Between 2006 and 2011, he again portrayed Srecko Sojic in "Bela ladja", which was a loose continuation of "Tesna koza". After leaving "Bela ladja", he retired. Gutovic is also widely known around the world for his "An usual evening" cabaret, which he performed from the 1990s until his death. His cabaret was the first show played in Serbian in the Broadway theatre. Besides performing in the National Theatre in Belgrade, he also performed in the Montenegrin National Theatre, Zvezdara Theatre, Slavija Theatre, BITEF, and many theatres. Between 2020 and July 2021, he performed in the "Putujuce pozoriste Sopalovic" show, in the Yugoslav Drama Theatre. On 19 August 2021, Gutovic's health suddenly deteriorated and he was transported to the Military Medical Academy for treatment. A day later, multiple unreliable tabloids published incorrect information that Gutovic had passed away. He actually died on 25 August 2021, 14 days after his 75th birthday.- Actor

Rade Serbedzija was born in Bunic (Korenica) in 1946. Graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. Still a student, he started to play the leading roles in films and theater productions. He is remembered as an outstanding Peer Gynt, Don Juan, Georgij, Melkior, Oedipus, Hamlet, Leon and Richard III. He wrote and published four books of poetry and released four albums, as well as directed 12 plays (Balade Petrice Kerempuha, Kazu da je sova nekad bila pekareva kci, Judita, Hrvatski slavuj...). He shot more than seventy films (Rdece klasje (1970), Zadah tela (1983), Hajka (1977), Vecernja zvona (1986), Bravo maestro (1978), Variola Vera (1982), Una (1984), Usijanje (1979), Life Is Beautiful (1985), Cyclops (1982), Povratak (1979), Horvatov izbor (1985), Dreaming the Rose (1986), Kontesa Dora (1993)...), and starred in leading roles of several TV-series (Sam covjek, U registraturi (1974), Prosjaci i sinovi (1971), Bombaski proces (1977), Nikola Tesla (1977), Putovanje u Vucjak (1986)...). Rade Markovic was born in Belgrade where he studied at the College of Engineering and Philosophical Faculty. For the first time he set his foot on the stage as a member of a cultural artistic company "Ivo Lola Ribar" and the Youth Theatre and since the season 1946 to 1949 he was acting in performances of the Academic Theatre. Since 1959 he is a professional actor, attached to Belgrade Drama Theatre (to 1961). Thereafter, as an independent artist he appears on Atelje 212, National Theatre and Yugoslav Drama Theatre stages. During his sixty years long and fruitful artistic career, he has created over hundred (100) theater roles, took part in seventy eight (78) national and international film productions, acted in over sixty dramas and series made by TV Belgrade. Some of his outstanding roles in theater in "A Dubious Character" by Branislav Nusic, "Nikoletina Bursac" by Branko Copic (also TV drama Nikoletina Bursac (1958)), "Lodgings" by Milos Crnjanski, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" by Tennessee Williams, "Oblomov" by Goncharov and, finally, Pozzo in "En attendant Godot" by Samuel Beckett in which he was appeared with Ljuba Tadic, Mihajlo 'Bata' Paskaljevic and Milivoje 'Mica' Tomic and that was first performance of Bekcett's play in East Europe (1956, Atelje 212).
He was a professor of acting at Novi Sad Academy of Arts (since September 1981) and at "Braca Karic" Academy in Belgrade (since 1997). For his theatre creations he repeatedly received recognition: Belgrade October Award (1963), award for acting at Sterija's Theatre Festival (1958), two awards for acting at Festival of Small Scenes in Sarajevo (1962, 1971), three "Arena" awards at Yugoslav Film Festival in Pula (1955, 1957, 1963), award at the Festival of Bulgarian Film in Varna (1964), Seventh July Award (1981), "Slavica" award for life work at Film Encounters in Nis (1989) etc.

Vlastimir 'Djuza' Stojiljkovic was born in Razanj near Krusevac into a teacher's family. After graduating from Krusevac Grammar School he registered at the School of Mining in Belgrade, but after three semesters he entered Drama Academy in Belgrade and graduated from it in professor Mata Milosevic's class (1948-1952). His first stage appearance was as a schoolboy in "Krusevac County National Theatre", in 1946. After acting studies, in 1952 he becomes a member of Belgrade Drama Theatre in Belgrade where he worked until 1968 when he moved to Atelje 212 to perform for ten seasons.
In 1979 he returned to Belgrade Drama Theatre and stayed there until 1985 when he returned to Atelje 212 and remained until retirement in 1994. During his fifty-year long and fruitful career, Stojiljkovic realized more than 150 theater roles, such as Steven Kumalo in "Cry, Beloved Country" by Alan Paton, Dr Stockman in "Public Enemy" by Henrik Ibsen , Frulica in "We're Improvising Tonight" by Luigi Pirandello, Janko Savski in "The Collecting Point" by Dusan Kovacevic, Shylock in "The Merchant of Venice" by William Shakespeare and The Fool in "King Lear" by William Shakespeare. He also acted in 16 films (debut in Tudja zemlja (1957) and the greatest role in Nights and Days (1959)), more than 40 TV dramas and 20 TV series, among which the most popular where Pozoriste u kuci (1972), Vise od igre (1976) and Srecni ljudi (1993). The character Rodja Petrovic in Novak Novak's TV serial Pozoriste u kuci (1972) is considered to be not only one of the greatest achievements of this actor, but also of the complete art production of TV Belgrade. Ljubisa Samardzic was born into a miner's family. His acting talent was discovered very early and he won a scholarship with respected director Bojan Stupica. After graduating Belgrade Drama Arts Academy and playing a few theater roles, Ljubisa Samardzic was given the part in Igre na skelama (1961). After that experience, he decided to quit theater and try his luck in movies. In a few years he got the leading roles in some of the most popular or influential movies ever made in former Yugoslavia and soon became one of the movie icons in that country, together with 'Velimir 'Bata' Zivojinovic', Milena Dravic and Boris Dvornik. In the 1980s and during the break-up of Yugoslavia his acting star began to fade but he managed to switch careers by founding his own movie production company together with his son Dragan Samardzic. The company not only survived the harsh times of UN sanctions against rump Yugoslavia, but managed to produce few successful movies that became popular in many of the former Yugoslav republics. Boris Dvornik was born to the family of a carpenter. His acting experience started at the age of 8 when he took parts in plays for children. In his high school days he was learning to be electrician, but soon decided to pursue full-time acting career instead. After finishing National Acting School in Novi Sad he enrolled in Drama Academy in Zagreb. While on the first academic year, he began his movie career in The Ninth Circle (1960). His film debut was instant success, and in his second movie, Martin u oblacima (1961), he proved his abilities in comic roles. Dvornik soon became on of the movie icons of former Yugoslavia, together with 'Bata Zivojinovic', Milena Dravic and Ljubisa Samardzic. However, the zenith of popularity was reached by his role in humorous cult series "Malo misto" (mini) and some other light pieces that followed in the 1970s. However, although still being one of the most prolific actors in history of former Yugoslav and Croatian cinema and TV, Boris Dvornik in 1980s mostly used to work in the Croatian National Theatre in Split. In 1992, due to the friendship with Antun Vrdoljak, he flirted with politics for a couple of months. He graduated acting at the Academy of performing arts in Sarajevo in 1986. From 1989 to 1992 he worked at the Folk theater in Tuzla. The war years he spent (1991 - 1995) in the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH) and Croatian Defence Council (HVO). In 1996 he started to work at the National Theater of Sarajevo. Achieved more than 80 roles in theater and on TV. He is working as the theatre, television and film actor.
From 1998 to 2005 he was a professor of acting at the Academy of drama arts in Tuzla and from 2007 to 2011 he was a Minister of Sport and Culture of Sarajevo Canton. He is a member of Bosniak nationalist Party of Democratic Action (SDA). Born in Belgrade,on Dorcol (part of Belgrade), in the summer of 1933, he graduated at so called "First Men High School". He studied Philosophy for French, Spanish, and Italian language. From 1957,he became a professional actor, and besides acting in domestic cinematography, he also played in France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Poland and Austria. His film creations noted like anthology in the Yugoslavian cinematography,an he had a status of an artist. He was a profesional dancing player in "Flamenco", where he got a nickname El Caballero. He played on alternative scenes, and folk programes. Through his entire career, he has played pop music in many different orchestras, and film also. The house in which he had lived for a more than 4 decades, waiting for someone's call for film, survived a German Bombing on Belgrade in 1941 and 1944.
