The second was the comedy film BANAT EL AM, in which she reunited with director Wael Ehsan and starred alongside the talented trio Chico, Ahmed Fahmy, and Hisham Maged. She also embarked on her first collaboration with director Sameh Abdel-Aziz in the star-studded cast film HOUR AND A HALF.

After 1 year, Engy left to Dubai, were she continued as a film editor for Dubai's Elwaha Channel, until her return to Cairo the following year. Following her return, she edited music video clips such as the song "Try" by Hikmat, as well as advertising work for various ad agencies in Cairo.
Her first appearance as an actress began in 2006, as Dalia, Tamer's sister in the hit TV show "Tamer and Showkeya". She is most well known for her role as "Arwah", the rambunctious, quick-witted lawyer in the movie "H. Dabbour." She later appeared as Arwah in a special appearance in the movie "Teer Inta".
She also worked as a video editor in the Oscars nominated and Emmy's winner documentary "The Square"- Sherin began her career with appearances on advertisements as a child and thereafter she transitioned to television series. At 15 she had her cinema debut in the title "Hamada Yel'ab" ("Hamada is Playing") which was followed by roles on several television dramas such as "Hayyati Inta", "AL-Mersyo AL-Bahar" and "'Efreet AL-Qirsh". Thereafter Shereen acquired fame following her portrayal of Queen Neriman in the television series "AL-Malik Farouk" ("King Farouk"). She then took part in several cinema works including "Kharig a'n AL-Qanoon" ("Outlaw") and "Kalashnikov" before playing a role in the film "Hassan WA Morqoss". That effort led to her delaying her studies for a little while as she was studying at the French language division of the faculty of commerce. Shereen intends to study at the Institute of Theatrical Arts or at the Institute of Cinema after concluding her present studies. Later in the current decade she continued in both TV & cinema with a strong appearance in TV in the holy month "Ramadan", she portrayed a revolutionary role in TV series "Citizen X" as "Sara Abdel Shahid"; next year in TV series "Private Number", and then as "Hala" in "Temporary Name" in 2013.
