Ik weet niet goed wat ik moet denken over deze film. Aan de ene kant vond ik hem zeer goed (ik kreeg wat Teshigahara vibes) maar aan de andere kant vond ik sommige scènes net ietsje te absurd en over the top. (wat ik een zeer slechte en typerende eigenschap van Cronenberg vindt btw...) Ik zal hem nog wat moeten laten bezinken later nog eens herbekijken. (In ieder geval meesterlijke acteerprestaties van Jeremy Irons)
