1. Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 (2012–2013)

TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy

Chloe is a New York party girl with the morals of a pirate. She causes trouble for her best friend James Van Der Beek and her naive small-town roommate June.

Stars: Krysten Ritter, Dreama Walker, Michael Blaiklock, Eric André

Votes: 40,653

A comedy show with good actors and great storylines. However, the jokes were a little off sometimes and I'm still not sure how I like the fact that James Van Der Beek played himself in it. It was cancelled in the middle of the second season due to lack of audience. Was it cancelled too soon? Yes. Should it have gotten a season 3? Nope.

2. Samantha Who? (2007–2009)

TV-PG | 22 min | Comedy, Mystery, Romance

A woman suffers from amnesia and is forced to find out who she really is.

Stars: Christina Applegate, Jennifer Esposito, Kevin Dunn, Melissa McCarthy

Votes: 11,482

A show about a woman, Samantha who gets in a coma and doesn't have any long-term memory. She soon realizes that she's basically a huge bitch and wants to restore all her relationships. A show that basically points out the good and the bad in life. It's good. Great actors. But after two seasons... I mean, we all knew it had to end there.

3. Queer as Folk (2000–2005)

TV-MA | 47 min | Drama, Romance

Brash humor and genuine emotion make up this series revolving around the lives, loves, ambitions, careers and friendships of a group of gay men and women living on Liberty Avenue in contemporary Pittsburgh, PA.

Stars: Gale Harold, Hal Sparks, Randy Harrison, Michelle Clunie

Votes: 22,566

A show about gay friends, trying to find their way in love and society. It's an okay drama show but considering I'm a straight woman, I can't always relate to the issues that they're having. Also, there's a lot of gay sex. Love it or hate it.

4. Melrose Place (2009–2010)

TV-14 | 60 min | Drama, Romance

A new generation of young professionals living at the infamous Melrose complex deal with obtaining their own personal goals, drives, and desires, both amongst themselves and others.

Stars: Katie Cassidy, Stephany Jacobsen, Jessica Lucas, Michael Rady

Votes: 4,419

Years after the original Melrose Place ended, The CW attemped to make a 2009 version of it. It was pretty okay, the actors were fine. Except for Ashlee Simpson. I still don't know how and why she joined the cast. It was also fun to see some of the old characters to return. But on the other hand, there were too many old characters, too many references. Kids that watch The CW didn't understand it at all. So no audience, no second season.

5. 2 Broke Girls (2011–2017)

TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy

Two young women waitressing at a greasy spoon diner strike up an unlikely friendship in the hopes of launching a successful business - if only they can raise the cash.

Stars: Kat Dennings, Beth Behrs, Garrett Morris, Jonathan Kite

Votes: 105,434

A sitcom about, well... two broke girls. One girl is used to poverty, the other... not so much. They're best friends and roommates and try to make it in the cupcake industry. It's actually a pretty entertaining show. I would have loved to give it a higher score but there are just better shows out there. It's entertaining, but not quite intelligent. Hipsters and sex are the main theme. And I'm not ashamed to laugh, every time!

6. Melrose Place (1992–1999)

TV-14 | 60 min | Drama, Romance

Classic serial drama around a group of friends living in Melrose Place, California.

Stars: Heather Locklear, Andrew Shue, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Thomas Calabro

Votes: 13,348

The original Melrose Place was a nineties soap opera about young people, living in the same Hollywood building, trying to make it in whatever industry they're in. It had doctors, actors and fashion designers. Oh, and let's not forget, it also included half of the cast in the an advertising agency. Yes, I wrestled through all 7 seasons (each season had about 35 episodes). I made it through and I'll forever miss Kimberly Shaw.

7. House of Lies (2012–2016)

TV-MA | 28 min | Comedy, Drama

Charming, fast-talking Marty Kaan and his crack team of management consultants use every dirty trick in the book to woo powerful CEOs and close huge deals in this scathing, irreverent satire of corporate America today.

Stars: Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz, Josh Lawson

Votes: 26,574

House of Lies is a show about a management consultant firm. With main actors such as Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell and Ben Schwartz, it's pretty great. However, it's not really high on my list because it hasn't had big highs and lows yet. But it has approved from season one so I'm excited to see more. Also, I basically watch it to see Kristen regularly on my tv.

8. The O.C. (2003–2007)

TV-PG | 44 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

A troubled youth becomes embroiled in the lives of a close-knit group of people in the wealthy, upper-class neighborhood of Newport Beach, Orange County, California.

Stars: Mischa Barton, Adam Brody, Peter Gallagher, Kelly Rowan

Votes: 96,686

What I thought was going to be a typical teenage show turned out to be better. But... it was still pretty typical. The parents are extraordinary awesome and handsome for their age. And cast was at least 5 years older than they should have been. But it was also quite dark sometimes and that makes it a pretty good teenage show.

9. Body of Proof (2011–2013)

TV-14 | 60 min | Comedy, Crime, Drama

Medical examiner Megan Hunt's unique approach to solving crimes puts her at odds with her superiors.

Stars: Dana Delany, Jeri Ryan, Geoffrey Arend, Windell Middlebrooks

Votes: 20,016

An ABC crime show about medical examiner, Megan Hunt, who tries to find the killers by finding proof on.. you guessed it right, the body. It has had some great episodes but I have to admit that sometimes I watch it because Dana Delany is pretty fierce.

10. Community (2009–2015)

TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy

A suspended lawyer is forced to enroll in a community college with an eccentric staff and student body.

Stars: Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Donald Glover, Chevy Chase

Votes: 294,976

About a study group of a lot different people in community college. All though some people swear by the genius of the show, I have to say... I'm not that sure about it. It has some good storylines, good humor. But there isn't a lot more going on. However, Abed is the best. Can't get enough of that guy.

11. Gossip Girl (2007–2012)

TV-14 | 42 min | Drama, Romance

Privileged teens living on the Upper East Side of New York can hide no secret from the ruthless blogger who is always watching.

Stars: Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick

Votes: 194,358

Yet another typical teenage show but a pretty great one at that. In the first three seasons anyway. After they all graduated, it all kind of fell apart. Gossip Girl had to be everywhere because the people were everywhere. It got to be more about business than about gossip and scandals. However, all my OTP's got married at the end. So I'm still pretty happy about that. And I still love the concept.

12. Private Practice (2007–2013)

TV-14 | 60 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

A spin-off of the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" centering on the life of neonatal surgeon Addison Montgomery.

Stars: Kate Walsh, Paul Adelstein, KaDee Strickland, Taye Diggs

Votes: 29,122

Private Practice, a spin-off from Grey's Anatomy about Addison going to LA to work at a co-operative doctor practice. It's an okay show with okay storylines but I mean.. it's a little boring sometimes. How much can they whine? But I love Addison, couldn't miss it!

13. Entourage (2004–2011)

TV-MA | 28 min | Comedy, Drama

Film star, Vince Chase, navigates the vapid terrain of Los Angeles with a close circle of friends and his trusty agent.

Stars: Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara

Votes: 177,864

Entourage is a HBO show about movie star Vincent Chase who brought his brother and two friends to Hollywood. It includes a lot of sex and swearing but by the end of the last season, it's actually quite exciting. When you're interested in show business, you learn a lot. If accurate or not, it's still entertaining.

14. Arrested Development (2003–2019)

TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy

Level-headed son Michael Bluth takes over family affairs after his father is imprisoned. But the rest of his spoiled, dysfunctional family are making his job unbearable.

Stars: Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett

Votes: 326,012

About a dysfunctional rich family that has to make it through the difficult time of having the head of the family in prison. It's actually really funny. The way that they make it seem like it's a documentary, is fantastic. Thank god they've returned with season four!

15. Big Love (2006–2011)

TV-MA | 60 min | Drama

A Utah polygamist who owns home improvement stores in the Salt Lake City area juggles relationships with three wives while trying to keep his complex family life from becoming a public scandal.

Stars: Bill Paxton, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloë Sevigny, Ginnifer Goodwin

Votes: 23,403

Big Love, a HBO show, about a polygamist family, living in the suburbs of a Utah town. It's pretty interesting to see how polygamy would work. Intriguing, really. But it's always a bit tedious.

16. New Girl (2011–2018)

TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy, Romance

After a bad break-up, Jess, an offbeat young woman, moves into an apartment loft with three single men. Although they find her behavior very unusual, the men support her - most of the time.

Stars: Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Hannah Simone

Votes: 246,743

A FX show about a girl who's looking for a new apartment and finds a loft with three rather crazy guys. The quirky Jess fits right in. It's a good comedy show and it's getting better and better. But there are a few (14 to be exact) that I like better.

17. Revenge (2011–2015)

TV-14 | 44 min | Drama, Mystery, Thriller

An emotionally troubled young woman sets out to exact revenge against the people who wronged her father.

Stars: Madeleine Stowe, Emily VanCamp, Gabriel Mann, Nick Wechsler

Votes: 125,696

Another ABC drama about a young woman who seeks revenge on the wealthiest family of New York (and the Hamptons) because they put her father unfairly in prison. It's a good show but a bit too posh for my taste sometimes. However, I love the scandals. And Victoria is fabulous.

18. Lost (2004–2010)

TV-14 | 5,445 min | Adventure, Drama, Fantasy

The survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together in order to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island.

Stars: Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Yunjin Kim, Evangeline Lilly

Votes: 598,229

Probably the most famous show of all time, if you ask me. But, like basically everyone in the world, I also have my opinion about it. Its worthwhile the first three seasons but after that, it just gets sad. I also have this strange pet peeve about the fact that in Season 6, Kate her eyebrows are still extremely perfect. Yet, it's pretty far in my list because it's one of the most impressive shows I've ever seen. Especially when it comes down to cast, crew, location and special effects.

19. The Big C (2010–2013)

TV-MA | 30 min | Comedy, Drama

A suburban mother faces her cancer diagnosis while trying to find humor and happiness as well.

Stars: Laura Linney, Oliver Platt, Gabriel Basso, John Benjamin Hickey

Votes: 15,798

A Showtime comedy/drama about a (almost) middle age woman who finds out she has cancer. I was a bit skeptical about the show but turns out, it's pretty great. Not everyone wants to deal with cancer every week, though.

20. Mad Men (2007–2015)

TV-MA | 45 min | Drama

A drama about one of New York's most prestigious ad agencies at the beginning of the 1960s, focusing on one of the firm's most mysterious but extremely talented ad executives, Donald Draper.

Stars: Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, January Jones

Votes: 262,027

One of AMC's first and best tv shows about a advertising company in the sixties. At first, I thought the show was just about smoking and drinking in the office and adultery. But o god, I changed my mind fast. As a person who's from the early nineties, the only thing I knew about the sixties consists of the words "The Beatles" and "Woodstock". Two pretty great words, of course, but after seen Mad Men, I was delighted to know more. Fantastic costumes, as well.

21. Six Feet Under (2001–2005)

TV-MA | 60 min | Comedy, Drama

A chronicle of the lives of a dysfunctional family who run an independent funeral home in Los Angeles.

Stars: Peter Krause, Michael C. Hall, Frances Conroy, Lauren Ambrose

Votes: 150,110

I start the top ten with one of the best dramas of the last decade. It's an HBO show about a funeral home in sunny Los Angeles. It's strong. Funny. And very intriguing. However, the only downer to it: it had really long episodes. And I have an attention span of a dead fish.

22. Will & Grace (1998–2020)

TV-PG | 22 min | Comedy, Romance

Gay lawyer Will and straight interior designer Grace share a New York City apartment. Their best friends are gleeful and proud gay Jack and charismatic, filthy-rich, amoral socialite Karen.

Stars: Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, Sean Hayes

Votes: 60,653

Will & Grace concerns about a gay man, Will and a straight woman, Grace living together in Manhattan. They have two best friends, Karen (who is always drunk and/or high) and Jack (who is extremely gay and stupid). The jokes always have the same content. It usually includes Grace her fashion taste, her small chest (and Karen's big chest), Jack's ego,... but for some reason I keep on finding it fantastic. And I am in no way ashamed to say that I loved the endless special guests.

23. Friends (1994–2004)

TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy, Romance

Follows the personal and professional lives of six twenty to thirty year-old friends living in the Manhattan borough of New York City.

Stars: Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc

Votes: 1,093,504

At this point, I find it really hard to choose. Friends is fantastic and it will always be fantastic. Should it be on 8, 7, 6,... or 1? I don't know. What I do know it that this show is epic. It is legendary. It's one of the biggest sitcoms we will ever see. The cast is fantastic. The storyline is fanstastic. It is all fanstastic.

24. Breaking Bad (2008–2013)

TV-MA | 45 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

A chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine with a former student in order to secure his family's future.

Stars: Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Betsy Brandt

Votes: 2,145,281

An AMC show about a midle age science teacher who finds out that he has terminal cancer. He, then makes sure he leaves his family behind without any medical bills by making and celling Crystal Meth. With his partner, Jesse, they make the best and worst team at the same time. I've enjoyed this show so much. It's so badass. I'm sad that its ending, however, it wouldn't have been realistic to make it last longer than five seasons. It's incredibly self-destructible. But I love it!

25. How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014)

TV-14 | 4,576 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

A father recounts to his children - through a series of flashbacks - the journey he and his four best friends took leading up to him meeting their mother.

Stars: Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris

Votes: 732,379

My ultimate favorite sitcom would have to be How I Met Your Mother. I was skeptical when I started watching it, because, let's face it, it's a lot like Friends. But I was quite wrong. I love the many flashbacks and the extreme accuracy. I love Barney, and even more, Neil Patrick Harris. Who doesn't? Some people don't like the fact that we still haven't seen the mother yet, but I enjoy it quite a bit.

26. Grey's Anatomy (2005– )

TV-14 | 41 min | Drama, Romance

A drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors.

Stars: Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Justin Chambers

Votes: 343,381

A "typical" ABC drama about first year interns at Seatle Grace Hospital. It's more about their love lives than anything else. And that is basically what I love about it so much. Its a really good mix between humor and drama and that is also one of the strongest features of the show. One other thing I love, is how they keep on finding a creative way to make an episode. It's not just a doctor show. It's more.

27. Weeds (2005–2012)

TV-MA | 28 min | Comedy, Crime, Drama

When a suburban mother turns to dealing marijuana in order to maintain her privileged lifestyle after her husband dies, she finds out just how addicted her entire neighborhood already is.

Stars: Mary-Louise Parker, Hunter Parrish, Alexander Gould, Kevin Nealon

Votes: 118,107

Weeds is one of my favourite shows because it's basically a wet dream of mine. Who wouldn't want to be a suburban housewife, in a small Californian town, that sells weed for a living? However, it doesn't stay innocent and by the time it would get actually dangerous (I'd say season 3), I'd be back to baking cookies for my son's high school. It's witty, and it has so much black humor. How can anyone not love this show? The two last seasons weren't like first 6 ones. But Jenji Kohan has always made the best cliffhangers, ever.

28. Veronica Mars (2004–2019)

TV-14 | 44 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery

After her best friend is murdered, and her father is removed as county Sheriff, Veronica Mars dedicates her life to cracking the toughest mysteries in the affluent town of Neptune.

Stars: Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III

Votes: 78,526

I'm not saying this is one of the best shows, ever. But for me, it is. I watched this when I was a teenager but was extremely intrigued by the fact that it was so dark. Rape and murder, the little fictional town of Neptune has it all and Veronica Mars solved it all, too. I found it fantastic. And still watch it every once and a while. Thank god, we're getting a movie in 2014.

29. Desperate Housewives (2004–2012)

TV-14 | 45 min | Comedy, Drama, Mystery

Secrets and truths unfold through the lives of female friends in one suburban neighborhood after the mysterious suicide of a neighbor.

Stars: Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria

Votes: 140,552

I couldn't choose between this show and the next one to put on #1. But by the end, I decided that it doesn't really matter because they're equally fantastic. Desperate Housewives started out as a typical women show but after eight seasons, we all know - it's much more. Marc Cherry is my hero, basically. The witty humor along with the dramatic storylines. It's just freakin' great. It turned out to be a beautiful mix of a typical ABC drama and a great satire for the all American housewife.

30. Dexter (2006–2013)

TV-MA | 60 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery

He's smart. He's lovable. He's Dexter Morgan, America's favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and nights committing them.

Stars: Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, David Zayas, James Remar

Votes: 769,641

Dexter, o damn it, Dexter! I wanted to look at Dexter because of the fact that it's about a serial killer. I had no idea how he would be portrayed, but I thought it would be bad. However, I was so fooled. He is usually NOT the bad guy. It's "America's favorite serial killer." How they make that happen, I don't know. The only thing I'm a bit weird about is the fact that he keeps getting in these extreme crossfires but gets out of it, right on time. He also seems to have the energy of a daycare of toddlers considering he kills at night and still finds time to take care of his son and gets on time to work. But it's still just a show, right? And a fine one at that.
