EDIT: Some people in the comment section actually think that they can change my mind when it comes to this director. Thanks for the good laugh, tweens. You're even funnier when you desperately try to sound educated about movies. Keep it up and I'll let you know when I start to care about other people's COMPLETELY SUBJECTIVE opinions.
Don't hold your breath though.
-------------
Del Toro - One of the worst. Can't stand his movies. What I've seen from him I've hated it. Some of the worst movies ever made. And no, I'm not overreacting.
Wouldn't have been that bad if he was not taking himself so seriously. But unfortunately for him he seems to think that he's making groundbreaking stuff. What a joke.
At first I didn't even know that he was the director of crappy movies like Mimic, Blade 2 and Hellboy 1, 2. I checked his filmography and it's no wonder that he didn't direct anything in the 3 years after Hellboy 2.
It's funny though how he tries to present his crap movie Pacific Rim as something original. I guess he thinks all people are idiots and born yesterday.
Anyway, it's no wonder that the guy doesn't have a single successful blockbuster to his name. Hopefully his career as a Hollywood "action" director will soon be over.
And when he's gone from the movie business a lot of people will simply say "Good riddance".
