Top 30 movies (16 year old girl)
These are my top 30 movies that I (as a 16-year-old girl) have watched. There are many films I hope to add to this list such as There Will Be Blood, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan and Good Will Hunting etc but I haven't watched them so, of course, I am in no position to judge them.

- DirectorGuillermo del ToroStarsIvana BaqueroAriadna GilSergi LópezIn the Falangist Spain of 1944, the bookish young stepdaughter of a sadistic army officer escapes into an eerie but captivating fantasy world.Watch in Spanish - 'El laberinto del Fauno' - with English subtitles. - DirectorTom HooperStarsColin FirthGeoffrey RushHelena Bonham CarterThe story of King George VI, his unexpected ascension to the throne of the British Empire in 1936, and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch overcome his stammer.Colin Firth is mind-blowing. Unfortunately let down by it's sequel.
- DirectorJames CameronStarsLeonardo DiCaprioKate WinsletBilly ZaneA seventeen-year-old aristocrat falls in love with a kind but poor artist aboard the luxurious, ill-fated R.M.S. Titanic. No 'Best Movies' list would be complete without it, nor would any 16-year-old girl's film collection.
- DirectorQuentin TarantinoStarsJamie FoxxChristoph WaltzLeonardo DiCaprioWith the help of a German bounty-hunter, a freed slave sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal plantation owner in Mississippi.Yes, I'll admit, it's an 18 and officially not suitable, but it's such a brilliant movie I just couldn't resist.
- DirectorRichard AttenboroughStarsRobert Downey Jr.Geraldine ChaplinPaul RhysAn elderly Charlie Chaplin discusses his autobiography with his editor, recounting his amazing journey from his poverty-stricken childhood to world-wide success after the ingenious invention of the Little Tramp.Often underrated, this masterpiece from Richard Attenborough deserves a mention. RDJ's accent is remarkable and his likeness of Chaplin even more so.
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigJavier BardemNaomie HarrisJames Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.Making up for it's disappointing predecessor in style. Everything that makes a Bond movie great.

- DirectorTim BurtonStarsJohnny DeppWinona RyderDianne WiestThe solitary life of an artificial man - who was incompletely constructed and has scissors for hands - is upended when he is taken in by a suburban family.Beautiful.
