The Worst Movies Of 2012
I didn't really see a lot of bad movies this year, but, for the ones I did, these are the ones that really made me mad or were so unwatchable.

- DirectorBrian LevantStarsDaniel SternBraeden LemastersStacey TravisSix years later, Ralphie has his eyes fixed on a car. But trouble is sure to follow.Ugh. This to me was the worst movie I saw this year. I know it seems cheating to put a direct to dvd movie on here, but, no, this has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. They butchered the characters from the original so much it does not look like they are even in the same movie. It's like watching a live action cartoon that is so unfunny, filthy, and ridiculous that it ruins the charm of the original. The jokes were recycled and referenced to death it seemed like this was more of a parody and not a good one to the original. I mean, granted, 24-hours of the first one is tiresome, but, this I wouldn't even watch another second of it on how god awful it is.
- DirectorWilliam Brent BellStarsFernanda AndradeSimon QuartermanEvan HelmuthIn Italy, a woman becomes involved in a series of unauthorized exorcisms during her mission to discover what happened to her mother, who allegedly murdered three people during her own exorcism.I've actually become an avid found footage movie fan, and I was actually looking forward to this one and after I seen it, I realized that I was not only disappointed, but, really mad and upset that I wanted to pound my fists so hard after it ended. This would've been my number one worst, but, I've come to realize that this movie is so bad that there were a couple of points that had me laughing on how bad it was. The trailer was really misleading and honestly, I pretty much predicted what was going to happen throughout and this had one of the worst endings I've seen since Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 that makes absolutely no sense.
- DirectorOliver StoneStarsAaron Taylor-JohnsonTaylor KitschBlake LivelyPot growers Ben and Chon face off against the Mexican drug cartel who kidnapped their shared girlfriend.I'm a Oliver Stone fan, and to be fair, this is well directed, but, that does not stop the film from being so overly pretentious and indie 90s film wannabe that it is honestly, to me, Oliver Stone's worst film. From that stupid narration from Blake Lively, to the ruined ending that took the movie from being bad to completely utter crap that I honestly wanted to leave the theater before the credits started. The only good things I liked were John Travolta, Salma hayek, and Benicio Del Toro's performances, but even they couldnt save this movie from anything.
- DirectorPeter BergStarsAlexander SkarsgårdBrooklyn DeckerLiam NeesonA fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.I've watched dumb action movies I enjoyed, sure, but how is it that this movie which has tons of action going on becomes very boring? This is every rip off I've seen of tons of better sci-fi flicks I'd rather watch including Independence Day, Transformers (one time), and so on. I mean, sure, the movie had some better lit action scenes, but, the acting is completely terrible especially from Taylor Kitsch who plays a very generic uncharismatic lead and I thought Liam Neeson could've done better if he actually did something besides shout and scream for 5 minutes on a navy boat.
- DirectorHenry JoostAriel SchulmanStarsStephen DunhamKatie FeatherstonMatt ShivelyIt has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in.Now I put this one very low because, unlike others, I didnt hate it as much as other people did, but, this movie still sucked. At this point, I've become tired of the found footage genre and unless they're going to change things up a bit, it's the same cliches we've seen before, but for this one, I was really annoyed by the characters and until Katie popped up, I really wanted it to end because of all the crappy jump scares that happened and this movie was more of a promotion of Xbox Kinect then it was for the other movies. lol. This movie did have a good last 10 mins to it, but, other that, they need to try harder next time if they make a 5th one.
