This movie is simply awesome , it has it all , acting , directing , amazing story ( based of a Stephan King story ) , and a good score.
Only proplem is that it has 2 versions ( with different endings ) ,
a "Theatrical release" , and "Director Cut",I have seen both of em and i can honestly say that the "Theatrical release" version is WAY better.
Even though if you can only find the director cut it is still worth watching ( if you like horror you will definetly like this movie ).

Now I am not a fan of the original Evil Dead ( I thought the first one was good but the second and third were complete sherades to me ),
but this movie completly brought it for me , the characters were great , the plot was awesome , and it has good scares .
the movie has powerful gore ,so if you don't like gore , I don't recommend that you watch it , also the movie isn't perfect , there is a weakness in it here or there but you wont find it unless your really looking for something to bash this movie for and there I have only one response for you " Haters gonna HATE ".
