- DirectorNeil MarshallStarsKit HaringtonJohn BradleyHannah MurrayThe battle between the Night's Watch and the wildlings has come. The battle that this episode showcased rivalled almost anything I've ever seen on the big screen. Tyrion meets with a red priestess. Yara finds her rule tested. Bran discovers the origin of the White Walkers.I have to say, Game of Thrones's most impressive feat for me has been how they have utilized the Night's King. He could have very easily been a goofy villain, but the show has used him so sparingly yet memorably so far. There have only been three scenes with him - the baby scene in Oathbreaker, Hardhome, and the scene in this episode, and all three were fantastic.
The end scene here is one of the most emotional scenes the show has ever produced (bravo D&D), and everything else preceeding it was great as well. In particular, I was heavily intrigued by Kinvara and her scene with Tyrion and Varys. Dany's scene with Jorah was also very memorable, and marks the first time we have scene her softer side since S05E02. - DirectorAlex GravesStarsPeter DinklageNikolaj Coster-WaldauLena HeadeyTheon helps Ramsay seize Moat Cailin.
