She did it all and made it look easy. From 1941-1951 was consistently in the top ten, sometimes being the only woman on the list! No one has ever broke that record. The reason is clear, she brightened peoples lives during a terrible time in history. Beauty, glamour and acting talent seperate this Queen of the movies from the other movie "Plain Janes!" No one in movies reinvented themselves with so much skill. In the 20's the epitome of the jazz age flapper. 30's comedies and working girl pictures and a photo legacy with Hurrell that will never be matched for beauty and glamour. 40's great dramatic pictures and an Oscar. 50's tough middle aged man eater, except for "Autumn Leaves" which is incredible. 60's were some great thrillers and if she had not been I'll would have continued throughout the 70's and 80's. Joan had the greatest presence on film, that's why she's the "Ultimate Star!"

With more ups ...

I'm adding Cher to this list because in 30 years she will be number one on everybody's list. What can't this entertainer do?
