She was beautiful, I dreamt she was my mom, she did look like a blond version of my mother. Soft yet sensual...she was a triple treat. She could sing, dance and act. Her and Dan Dailey in my blue heaven and mother wore tights, just wonderful. I think my favorite movie of hers was Three for the Show with Jack lemon and Marge and Gower Champion....I must have sat through that one everyday for a week twice on Sundays.

My girl Friday, she was my girl everyday what wasn't she good in...she was funny, often outrageous, inspiring...tall and could wear clothes beautifully but most of all I never missed one of her movies. Even now on TCM I watch those fabulous old movies....I would call Rosalind joyful.

I guess I should back to what made me love the movies. It was the musicals undeniably that I love. I became a singer dancer because of them and Cyd was one I aspired to be like of course I came off quite short of that mark. When I 1st noticed her dance on film I could feel her pull you toward her even if it was but a flash of o moment. Her poise and grace was undeniable ..sure enough she became a star. One that shines oh so bright in the heavens. That's our Cyd....silk stockings my favorite.
