Favorite Fictional Movie or Television Turtle

Turtles, tortoises and terrapins play critical roles in their respective worldwide ecosystems. Among other contributions, they dig holes that are inhabited by other creatures and keep beaches and riverbanks clean by feeding on dead fish that wash ashore. Despite living up to 300 years and collectively outliving the dinosaurs, these ancient reptiles are currently in danger. Currently, half of all species are facing extinction and even more are threatened. World Turtle Day is intended to increase awareness about these creatures and ensure their protection. In the hope of a year round conservation effort, a poll that features fictional turtles, tortoises, and terrapins.
