Jesse Wayne appeared in over 500 TV productions and feature films, in addition to hundreds of live stunt shows. If this seems like a lot, it's because his career began in the early days of Los Angeles' live television, when he was eight years old.
In 1959, his diminutive 5' 4" stature enabled him to become Mickey Rooney's stunt double at MGM. Continuing, he doubled small men, women, and virtually every child actor in Tinseltown. Jesse performed Fights, Car Work, Stair Falls, Bicycles, High Work, High Falls and Horse Work. Fire Gags became one of his prime specialties. He quit Water stunts after the "Julia Belle Swain" riverboat ran over him in Tom Sawyer (1973) while doubling Jeff East.
Jesse also stunt-doubled The Three Stooges (Moe Howard and Larry Fine), Robert Morse, Kurt Russell, Red Buttons, John Mills, Frankie Avalon, Kay Lenz, David Wayne, Leslie Caron, Barbara Stanwyck, Helen Hayes, Harry Morgan, Arte Johnson, José Feliciano, Johnny Crawford, George Gobel, Robin Williams, Gary Burghoff, Strother Martin, John Hillerman, Donald Pleasence, Mel Brooks, Don Johnson, Billie Hayes (aka "WitcheePoo"), Brenda Vaccaro, Barbara Rhoades, Pamela Austin, Lurene Tuttle, Eddie Hodges, Michael Burns, Buck Kartalian, William 'Billy' Benedict, Richard Bakalyan, Michael J. Pollard, and Mel Tormé.
Jesse has also performed behind the camera as a first assistant director, cinematographer, videographer, director and gun coach, to name a few.
Jesse's autobiography, "Confessions of a Hollywood Stunt Man (or It Seemed Like a Good Idea at The Time!") is now available for all Ebook readers.
Jesse's saga reveals many of Hollywood's unknown comedy and tragic stories in front and behind the cameras, plus the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures 1961 formation.
Veteran stunt man Fred "Krunch" Krone, SAMP's first secretary and treasurer, said, "Jesse has written what no one has ever said or would dare say! It's a must-read."
In 1961, at 19, Jesse was SAMP's youngest charter member, and in 1992 was presented a Lifetime Membership for his tenure and contributions as the group's secretary, treasurer and board member for 14 years.283 + stunts, 1950-1999.

Graf is one of Hollywood's premier second unit directors and stunt coordinators whose 35-year career behind the cameras includes the staging of stunts in over five dozen films while directing second unit action on three dozen features, including such recent films as Todd Phillips' comedy, "Due Date", "The Muppets" (2011, on which he also coordinated stunts) and Phillips' independent feature, "Project X" (2012).
A native of Southern California, Graf first made his mark on the gridiron, where he captained the 1967 San Fernando High School city championship team, winning All-American honors. He won a full athletic scholarship to the University of Southern California, and played offensive guard for John McKay's powerhouse Trojans. Graf started on McKay's legendary, undefeated (12-0) 1972 NCAA National Championship team, and was one of the heroes at the 1973 Rose Bowl, when USC defeated Ohio State 42-17. He next played in the 1973 college all-star game against the NFL's undefeated Miami Dolphins at Chicago's Soldier Field.
Following graduation, Graf became a free agent with the Los Angeles Rams before joining the World Football League's Portland Storm during their inaugural 1974 season. When the league abruptly folded, Graf tackled a career change when he fatefully won a role as former Chicago Bears player Dick Butkus' stunt double in the 1976 Disney film "Gus", a comic opus about a field goal-kicking mule.
Following his debut, Graf worked as a stunt player for several years on a variety of projects, notably Walter Hill's "Southern Comfort", "The Driver" and "The Long Riders", John Carpenter's "They Live", Paul Verhoeven's "Total Recall", "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", "Raising Arizona", "Action Jackson", "S.W.A.T.", "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl", "Independence Day" and, most recently, "Captain America: The First Avenger".
He has coordinated stunts on several other projects, including "Punch Drunk Love", "Domestic Disturbance", "Broken Arrow", "Wayne's World", "The Hangover Part II" (the highest-grossing, R-rated comedy of all time), and several of director Hill's actioners, including "Supernova", "Geronimo: An American Legend" and "Wild Bill", on which he also directed the films' 2nd unit. On Hill's 1990 sequel, "Another 48 Hrs.", Graf, as the film's 2nd unit director and stunt coordinator, was the very first stuntman to cannon roll a bus at 60 mph. He subsequently flipped a bus again on the Jean-Claude Van Damme actioner "Nowhere to Run", cannon rolling a 40-foot bus underneath a 60-foot-wide freeway overpass.
The former college football great is also one of Hollywood's best-known football coordinators and 2nd unit directors, designing and staging the gridiron action for such films as Oliver Stone's epic "Any Given Sunday", Howard Deutch's comedy "The Replacements", "The Program", "The Waterboy", "Necessary Roughness", "Man of the House", Gary Fleder's football biopic, "The Express", Cameron Crowe's Oscar®-winning "Jerry Maguire" and Peter Berg's acclaimed football classic "Friday Night Lights". His work on "Friday Night Lights" and "The Express" all earned ESPY Awards.
To further add to Graf's slate of talents, he has also logged several supporting acting roles, including that of Capt. Turner on HBO's "Deadwood" (again working with Walter Hill) along with many other projects such as "L.A. Confidential" (the abusive husband beaten down by Russell Crowe in the film's early moments), "The Replacements", "Magnolia", "Boogie Nights", "The Doors", "Red Heat", "Another 48 Hrs.", "Poltergeist" and "RoboCop", among dozens of others.
Graf penned an original screenplay entitled "Turning the Tide", a football drama which depicts the historic 1970 gridiron contest between McKay's USC Trojans and Bear Bryant's Crimson Tide of Alabama.
Graf most recently reteamed with filmmaker Brian Helgeland on "42" after having served as 2nd unit director on his 2001 adventure film "A Knight's Tale", for whom he designed and directed all the jousting sequences.- Stunts

Cass began his career in the motion picture industry as an extra - but soon he was alternating between acting parts and stunt work. The stunt work eventually prevailed and Cass went on to become one of Hollywood's top stunt co-ordinators and Second Unit Directors. This led to his producing several films which, in turn, led to first-unit directing.
Dave has co-produced Miramax Films' Texas Rangers (2001); a trio of Burt Reynolds' TV movies titled Hard Time (1998), for the TNT network - writing one episode, and directing another, Hard Time: The Premonition (1999). He has also co-written several other films including Enter the Devil (1972) and Hard Ground (2003). Dave was the director of The Hallmark Channel's mini-series, Johnson County War (2002), another take on the infamous Wyoming cattle wars, this one an adaptation by Larry McMurtry. Cass has directed two Gentle Ben TV movies, plus Night of the Wolf (2002), starring Anne Archer and Robert Urich, for Animal Planet.
And from Hallmark, again, David directed a city girl/country boy love story, Straight from the Heart (2003), which garnered the highest ratings ever for a Hallmark Channel TV Movie.76 stunts, 1963-1999.

Lightning Bear was born in Houston, Texas in 1947 and from there moved to California. He has always had an interest in the entertainment Industry. It all started in his childhood in the first grade singing in a choir with a solo for Christmas. In Junior High School there was a talent show in which he did a comedy song with a friend and it was probably the beginning of or was the first lip sink to a song. It was great and in the end when he got shot and took the microphone and stand to the floor with him (his first stunt) the Vice-principal almost had a heart attack. He then went into theater in high school in acting, set making, and lighting.
His first work in film was with a production company doing commercials and travel logs for the Mexican government. They spent 6 months traveling through Mexico, him working as an actor, precision driver, diver and boat handler. In 1965 after leaving the company, a Scottish friend and him, decided to go to Hollywood to visit a friend they had met in Mexico. They decided to stay and he got his first job there, working at the Playboy Club parking cars. This was also during the time of the riots at Pandora's Box on Sunset Blvd. He did not have a car, so he had to hitchhike across Laurel Canyon Blvd., which was not easy, since he lived in studio city. He quit the club and got a job in a gas station working pumping gas and as a mechanic. It was here that he met the people who gave him his first break.
While he was working one night, a man came in whose car had broken down. They had to take the car back to the station. His friend that was with him asked if he could give him a ride home. Since it was time for him to get off he did. He lived in the hills over looking Universal Studios. This was, as he was going to find out, Spanky McFarland who was on the "Little Rascals". He was producing and directing at Universal Studios at the time. They talked that night and Spanky asked if he was interested in the film industry. Lightning Bear told him of his work in Mexico and that he loves the industry and Spanky offered to help him. His friend that owned the car was Carl Ambrosia who was a Casting Director. In those days it was not easy to get into SAG. You needed to be in SAG to work in a film and you had to have worked in a film to get into SAG. They got Lightning Bear into central casting and then used his credits in Mexico to get him into SAG.
Spanky had the idea of making a star out of Lightning Bear, but he was there to actually go to school. Besides as all knows, you can go to a party 7 days a week in Hollywood, which he did for a time to meet the right people. But when you leave a party at 2 or 3 am and you have a 6 o'clock call and have to get straight, it has a tendency to be a bit hard. So Lightning Bear told him that he just wanted to work and go to school and being famous was not that important to him. Spanky said that the best position for this was in stunts.
In those days there were no schools for stunts and everything was OJT. Spanky got him his first show, which was the Virginian. Here Lightning Bear met Dick Shane who was the Stunt Coordinator for the show who started to train him. Also during the filming he met Hal Needham who started the first Stunt Association in Hollywood called Stunts Unlimited.
After returning from Vietnam in the 70s he had the chance to work with Richard Harris on the film "A Man Called Horse" which later helped get him on Star Wars. It was during preproduction and production of the "Return of a Man Called Horse" that he traveled to England and heard about Star Wars. His blood brother who is from England was working as a model maker on Star Wars at Elstree Studios. He took Lightning Bear with him and helped get him work as a Stormtrooper. Later Lightning Bear was fortunate to work on the other films as both a Stormtrooper and Biker Scout. One of the highlights of his life was being able to meet and work with the late great Peter Diamond.
Lightning Bear also had a company in film and television doing work as the Executive Production Co-coordinator. They had done shows for Home Box Office. He produced a show for the Tropicana Hotel called "After Midnight" and Lightning Bear's partner was responsible for the development of the colorization process used in the industry today. Since that time, Lightning Bear went more for the behind camera work as a Stunt Co-coordinator and 2nd Unit Director. Lightning Bear also did acting in summer stock, one of which was "West Side Story", playing one of the Sharks. During the 70s Lightning Bear was able to work with Sean Connery on "Diamond are Forever" in Las Vegas.
Lightning Bear took a break from the industry as he was also teaching and it got busy. He decided after doing "Black Rain", to only teach for a while. After moving to Germany in 1997, he started to meet people in the industry there and decided then to go back into it. In 2005, Lightning Bear got his first chance at Directing an Independent Film called "Bad Blood". It was not until this time that Lightning Bear was asked to attend his first Star Wars convention. The greatest honor and highlight in his life was being asked to speak at the Memorial Tribute that was done for Richard Harris in London.
Lightning Bear says he has been very lucky in his life as the industry is and always has been his first love. He likes the way it is always changing with new methods and technology, never having exactly the same circumstance or conditions and the ability to travel and see different countries, cultures, people and locations. This is especially true of the Star Wars and other Conventions, as he loves to meet the fans and talk with them.43 stunts, 1961-2007.
