One of the many British actors that came to Hollywood in the early days of the Talkies. He had small parts in many a famous film, like The Philadelphia Story, and also great little parts on TV show episodes, like the role of a foppish and aloft cynic-turned-author on the Mr and Mrs North episodes "Surprise".
