- DirectorBert KishStarsKatrina LawJordan BelfiPatricia RichardsonGreta Kaine (Katrina Law) is always in search of juicy gossip. As a gossip-tabloid reporter in Los Angeles, it's her job to expose the rich and famous. So when word gets out that the late Senator Tannenhill's sons might be proposing marriage at their family's Big Bear compound during Christmas, Greta and her chief rival Wes (Tom Lenk) are challenged by their old-school editor to get the scoop. There's incentive to be the first, too: the editorship of the magazine's new online incarnation. Greta's assistant tells her that Wes has a head start to snowy Big Bear, so she dashes to the mountain resort. When she mistakenly ends up as a guest of the family, she's in the middle of what could be her best story yet. However, she discovers that the family, including matriarch Maggie Tannenhill (Patricia Richardson) and caretaker Peters (Robert Curtis Brown) are more down-to-earth than she had assumed. Increasingly guilt-ridden about her game of subterfuge, Greta must decide how far she will go for a story.
- DirectorRon OliverStarsAutumn ReeserAntonio CupoApril TelekAn eager Thanksgiving parade coordinator is shocked when a wealthy consultant is hired to analyze its finances. Faced with teaching him that the parade means so much more to her than money, she finds herself reluctantly falling for him.
- DirectorMark JeanStarsBrandon RouthKimberley SustadStephanie BennettAfter a stray cat adopts Zachary, he meets Marilee and realizes the single life is not as fulfilling as he thought it was.
- DirectorJay RussellStarsAnne HecheKevin DanielsCarlos GómezA series of mishaps threaten a recently divorced mom's attempts to make her two kids' first Christmas "without dad" perfect.
- DirectorJohn BradshawStarsShannon ElizabethSteve ByersJulia LalondeWith the help of his two precocious kids, a widower reconnects with his high school sweetheart, who just happens to be one of the biggest pop stars on the planet.
- DirectorMichael Landon Jr.StarsChristian KaneMarley SheltonRyan McPartlinEchoing in the deepest depths of space, a humble prayer ascends from Maire Taylor, a smart, beautiful businesswoman who asks that her husband find the strength and wisdom to let go of their 9-year old marriage; meanwhile, a second prayer comes from Billy Taylor, a hopelessly romantic artist who asks that his wife receive the strength and wisdom to hold on. From these humble pleas come an answer in the form of a little miracle: an 8-year-old runaway from heaven who takes on the rekindling of this once-intimate friendship and romance that slipped away from Billy Maire after a heart-wrenching loss. Using all of her skill and charm, as well as some well-intentioned mischief, she comically sets out to heal their broken hearts and save their marriage by helping them get back to the basics of love.
- DirectorMichael M. ScottStarsBrooke BurnsHenry WinklerWarren ChristieCorporate analyst and single mom, Jen, tackles Christmas with a business-like approach until her uncle arrives with a handsome stranger in tow.
- DirectorErnie BarbarashStarsMerritt PattersonJack DonnellySamantha BondWhile on a last-minute European holiday, a young woman finds herself in the middle of a real-life fairy tale when a chance meeting with a handsome local leads to something more.
- DirectorJason PriestleyStarsAmy AckerDavid Haydn-JonesEmma DukeA young woman from a privileged life falls for a soup-kitchen owner after discovering a Dear Santa letter written by his 7-year-old daughter.
- DirectorRich NeweyStarsAmy AckerWarren ChristieBrooke NevinMaggie and Sam are crashing Christmas. When he proposes that they team up against his sister's perfect Christmas, neither is prepared for the blended-family challenges that lie ahead.
- DirectorMichael DamianStarsKatie McGrathRoger MooreSam HeughanAt the invitation of an estranged relative, a young woman travels with her niece and nephew to a castle in Europe for Christmas, where she unwittingly falls for a dashing Prince.Has the guy from that show… not Highlander… some other show about Scotland. I’ll think of it in a minute. Also has Roger Moore, 007 as a grumpy old fart. Anyway I don’t think anyone is a prince here and technically the troubled teen is the heir. These movies never get it right. Try it.
- DirectorAlex ZammStarsLacey ChabertJane SeymourStephen HaganPrince Leopold, heir to the throne of Cordinia, wishes to marry his young love Emily Taylor, a humble seamstress from Philadelphia. But Leopold's mother, Queen Isadora has other plans for her son.Lots of Hallmark tropes here—Lacey Chabert, obnoxious Folgers placement, a prince in disguise, etc. This one is easily in my Hallmark top 10. The guy who plays the butler is the GOAT. But the business with the hoagie in the kitchen is just dumb—like strategerie dumb, and Queen Jane Seymour is Regina George on steroids up until she does a heel face turn at the very last. Two thumbs up to Lacey if that was really haggis. I also got the uncomfortable idea that her BFF ended up with her dad. Watch it.
- DirectorAlex ZammStarsDanica McKellarRupert Penry-JonesEllie BotterillAfter getting fired from her job as a maid at a ritzy New York City hotel, Allie reluctantly accepts a temporary gig as the governess to a young girl who is part of a powerful family in Europe that lives in a castle. My #1 Hallmark Christmas movie, sets the standard and most of them never come close to this again. The king goes and gets his Queen Danica McKellar on horseback at the end of the movie. This makes the vagina happy. Watch it.
- DirectorJames HeadStarsBriana EviganPaul CampbellGreg EviganWhen a Princess escapes her entourage to explore New York City over Christmas, she meets a young man who shows the beautiful stranger his side of the city.I don’t like the ones where the chick is the princess and the guy is a just a guy, so I’ve barely watched this one. The princess always seems to want to ditch her royal life whereas the prince in these things at least has a chance of wanting to be a prince. Plus Paul Campbell’s movies with Kimberly Sustad are just better quality. Skip it.
- DirectorFred Olen RayStarsViva BiancaKirk BarkerAaron O'ConnellWanting to escape an arranged marriage, a European prince flees to the United States. There, he meets a struggling young waitress who may just be his one true love. This one is kind of terrible because from what I can remember, it’s mostly spent in a diner. Honestly I only watched it once or twice. There’s nothing particularly romantic about it and I don’t really care about the characters. I found myself rooting for a sledding accident because I just wanted something to happen other than people walking in and out of the beige restaurant. Skip it.
- DirectorErnie BarbarashStarsMerritt PattersonJack DonnellySamantha BondWhile on a last-minute European holiday, a young woman finds herself in the middle of a real-life fairy tale when a chance meeting with a handsome local leads to something more. This is a Jadis movie-- it's winter, not Christmas, but it checks all the other boxes, so here it is. These winter movies lack the excitement of the Christmas films because I'm hung over and it's cold.
- DirectorAlex ZammStarsRose McIverBen LambAlice KrigeWhen a reporter goes undercover as a tutor to get the inside scoop on a playboy prince, she gets tangled in some royal intrigue and ends up finding love - but will she be able to keep up her lie? This one has a lot to unpack. Basically the lead actress is a chick playing a chick playing another chick. The prince is secretly adopted but in the end nobody cares, which would never happen IRL, there’s a little girl in a wheelchair, a villain right out of an 80s soap opera, and I think they get chased by wolves, or maybe that’s the sequel, and then there’s the Borg queen. And it’s Christmas. Watch it.
- DirectorMonika MitchellStarsJessy SchramSam PageCrystal BalintAn aspiring fashion designer falls in love with her socialite client's fiance, Prince Jeffrey. It's a New Year's movie but there are still Christmas decorations in the background and there's a knight on this list, so it's OK. Nice enough costumes, and they don’t ruin anything with cheap jewelry. Decent, above-average story good for multiple watches, I like it… but it’s still nothing special and the accents are terrible. Try it.
- DirectorSam IrvinStarsAlexis KnappCallum AlexanderPamela Sue MartinSamantha, a teacher, returns to her hometown for Christmas, where she is joined by her boyfriend, Alex. When she learns Alex is the crown prince of Madelvia, she must decide if she loves Alex enough to stop teaching and become a royal.I have a hard time finishing this movie. The prince is bland and forgettable, and the stars they have doing smaller roles can’t save it. Skip it.
- DirectorDavid DeCoteauStarsTara ReidIngo RademacherHaley PullosA bachelor king tries to reconnect with his old college sweetheart.Has Tara Reid and would have been vastly improved with flying sharks with fricken laser beams attached to their heads. This movie proves that Christmas is about suffering. Skip it.
- DirectorFred Olen RayStarsCindy BusbyDiarmaid MurtaghAdam LevyHandsome prince and fashion assistant fall in love amidst a Christmas fashion show. This supposedly takes place in Beverly Hills and it looks like they filmed on the hottest day of July. I just don’t see the reason for people to pretend it’s that cold. It was probably cheap to shoot because of the location but this movie doesn’t say Christmas to me, and honestly the prince just seems like a football player who took a bet to see if he could pass for a prince. Skip it.
- DirectorPeter HewittStarsMerritt PattersonAndrew CooperBrittany BristowA king who is struggling to live up to his father's name hires an ice skating choreographer for a special Christmas Eve performance to celebrate the founding of his nation. All of these movies are predictable, but this one was also boring and the only royal who seemed royal was the king's aunt(?). I would totally watch a movie about her with none of these other people in it. Try it.
- DirectorJohn SchultzStarsRose McIverBen LambAlice KrigeA year after helping Richard get to the throne, Amber is about to become his wife. But is she really made to be queen? The evil duke becomes the mildly creepy duke in this installment of the trilogy as the butler from the Jane Seymour movie moves in to take over. You won't want to miss the uber l33t hacking by a 12 year old girl, the terrible wedding dress or the "crown jewels" that look like they were made with old soup cans and a blow torch. Watch it and don't miss part 3.
- DirectorJustin G. DyckStarsKaitlyn LeebNick HounslowJosh DeanPediatric specialist Tasha Miller is focused on keeping the kids in her ward as healthy as possible. But when the handsome Prince Alexander Cavalieri breaks his leg on a nearby ski-slope, Tasha is forced to allow him to secretly get well on her floor, and she's furious that a spoiled Royal is interrupting the precious healing time her kids need. Soon, however, Tasha learns that some tough love and a lot of Christmas spirit could turn this royal pain into a knight in shining armor.Spoiled prince who apparently owns stock in L'Oreal meets spunky pediatrician who is going to teach him a lesson. Except he's not that spoiled and she's not that spunky, and I think they dug the costumes out of a high school drama bin-- probably the actors too. Skip it.
- DirectorAllan HarmonStarsNatalie HallChris McNallyCasey MandersonPrincess Carly, working incognito at a ski resort, must team up with the owner's brother, Jesse, to plan the resort's 50th anniversary celebration.Another Jadis movie, but it's better than the last one.
- DirectorMike RohlStarsVanessa HudgensSam PalladioNick SagarCompeting in a Christmas baking competition in Belgravia, a Chicago baker bumps into the prince's fiancée--who looks just like her. They switch lives for two days. This has a weirdo who hangs out in the middle of the street, some kind of female aristocrat in disguise, a prince, a baker, and I have to assume there is a candlestick maker somewhere in this micronation as well. There isn't quite the crazy of that other Netflix royal Chrismas series but it's still fun. Watch it.
- DirectorMonika MitchellStarsVanessa HudgensJosh WhitehouseEmmanuelle ChriquiA medieval English knight is magically transported to present-day America where he falls for a high school science teacher who is disillusioned by love. This is kind of a dumb movie and some of the makeup is even worse. I have to wonder if they were just trying to fill a Vanessa Hudgens quota. Probably best for people who liked A Knight's Tale but aren't too picky. Try it.
- DirectorFred Olen RayStarsShein MompremierTravis BurnsErin GrayJessica is a struggling chef living in a trendy New York borough. Prince Jack, who's in the city for his family's annual Christmas charity dinner, finds himself in need of a last-minute chef for a royal event when he meets Jessica.Prince Jack was a real jerk. I only made it through the first 10 minutes or so because he was such a snob. I skipped it, but if you try it you might have better luck if you skip the first few minutes.
- DirectorJustin G. DyckStarsKaitlyn LeebNick HounslowJosh DeanIts Christmas again and Dr Tasha is on her way to meet Prince Alexander in St. Savarre. Though this is a happy time it is also a very stressful as a treaty is being negotiated between St. Savarre and Vandelien. When Tasha arrives, Alex surprises her by asking for her hand in marriage. She accepts and they immediately begin planning the wedding. When Princess Miranda finds out she is not happy. She concocts a plan to put a halt to this fairy-tale. Will Miranda succeed or will Tasha have her happily ever after?I'm not sure what happened here. There was a flurry of cheap prom dresses and bad lighting, and that's about it. Skip it.
- DirectorJohn SchultzStarsRose McIverBen LambAlice KrigeIt's Christmastime in Aldovia, and a royal baby is on the way. Amber and Richard host royals from a distant kingdom to renew a sacred truce, but when the treaty vanishes, peace is jeopardized and an ancient curse threatens their family.
- DirectorRyan DewarStarsDan JeannotteBrooke BurfittNicholas FarrellA New York sales manager is sent to the remote Scottish Highlands at Christmas to acquire a limited edition perfume from a dashing Earl preparing for his annual ball and falls in love instead.
- DirectorMike RohlStarsJohn JackVanessa HudgensSam PalladioWhen Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro and hits a rough patch with Kevin, it's up to her double Stacy to save the day before a new lookalike, party girl Fiona foils their plans.
- DirectorFred Olen RayStarsPaige BachJames NittiLouie ChapmanLauren, a hard-working advertising executive, begins to fall for Paul, a consultant she has been paired with to land a big account for the upcoming holiday season. Unbeknownst to Lauren and everyone else, Paul is actually Prince Edward Charles, European royalty in disguise as a commoner.
- DirectorDustin RikertStarsLaura OsnesKrystal Joy BrownTom McGowanWhen Anna offers a stranded mother and son shelter in a blizzard, she learns that they are the Royal Family of Galwick. Anna shows the Prince how they do Christmas in her hometown, encouraging him to open his heart and be true to himself.Great movie, checks all the boxes. I don't understand why the prince's hair looks like he's been cutting it (or not cutting it) himself or why they were traveling like that. The loud caroling doesn't do it for me but it's overall fun. Watch it.
- DirectorDylan PearceStarsLisa DuruptMarcus RosnerTeryl RotherySparks fly when a dashing stranger volunteers to help a successful woman organize her family's annual Christmas festival. But he's really a prince in disguise and it will take a miracle of royal proportions for their hearts to meet as one.Prince looks like a Canadian Mountie. I just can't. Skip it.
- DirectorMarco DeufemiaStarsNick HounslowJosh DeanHudson AmbroseThings get complicated for the expecting Prince Alexander and Dr. Tasha when a Royal State Visit is planned abroad, passing through her hometown. The couple must struggle with defying tradition and delivering, literally, on expectations. These had to be some of the dumbest diplomats and leaders I have ever seen. I couldn't make it to the end. Skip it.
- DirectorMike RohlStarsVanessa HudgensRemy HiiSam PalladioWhen a priceless relic is stolen, Queen Margaret and Princess Stacy enlist the help of Margaret's cousin Fiona teams with a man from her past to retrieve it, with romance and resulting in a very unexpected switch.
- DirectorMary LambertStarsBrooke ShieldsCary ElwesLee RossTo escape a scandal, a bestselling author journeys to Scotland, where she falls in love with a castle - and faces off with the grumpy duke who owns it.It's not as dumb as the other royal holiday movies, but it does suffer from a Drew Barrymore cameo that I wasn't expecting. Once you fast forward through that minor annoyance Cary Elwes makes a nice crabby duke and Brooke Shields plays someone who could have been played by anyone else. I wasn't expecting this one to make the vagina happy. Watch it.
- DirectorStefan ScainiStarsLacey ChabertStuart TownsendAli HardimanBrooke Bennett goes to Ireland for Christmas to search for her Irish roots. While there, she meets Aiden Hart. Mistaken for an elite event planner, she's hired to host his castle's epic Christmas party. This is not the best Hallmark Christmas movie by any stretch. Maybe turn off the sound and do something else. That way every time you look up you'll see Ireland enhanced with some CGI weather and Christmas lights. Or maybe just skip it.
- DirectorT.W. PeacockeStarsJen LilleyBrendan FehrMichael HanrahanThe director of an international charity organization is called to the Kingdom of Valdonia by the royal family, where she grows closer to a prince. It does all the royal Christmas stuff right but you can kind of feel them doing a paint by numbers thing here. Plus the prince looks like a wax figure with all that makeup. Adjust your screen to black and white and try it.
- DirectorDon McBreartyStarsMerritt PattersonTrevor DonovanCharlie BoyleThrough a series of mishaps, sophisticated Princess Amelia is stranded in the small town of Tucker, Maine. There she becomes an "ordinary" guest of the unsuspecting Cutler family. This is a box-checker that's a good Christmas movie but not very royal. The royal trapped in a snowstorm plot worked in Hallmark's One Royal Holiday but Merritt Patterson is not princess material and it would have helped if she had a stuffy butler as a foil or something. Still one of the better GAC movies this year. Try it.
- DirectorT.W. PeacockeStarsDanica McKellarNeal BledsoeJennifer WigmoreA novelist with writer's block becomes the caretaker at an empty winter chateau to finish her book. The owner, a prince, suddenly shows up with his royal entourage, and her job as the caretaker includes taking orders from the royal group.I think GAC is trying to find its footing. Maybe skip this one and come back in a couple of years.
- DirectorLee FriedlanderStarsMegan ParkJulian MorrisMichael HanrahanA prince finds his way to Queens during Christmas when a local woman enlists his help with a children's Christmas show.Costume department is not even trying with the Marine jacket trimmed with cheap curtain fringe and insignia printed on an inkjet they've had since 1997. Prince also needs to scrape off that facial growth and disinfect. Casting should at least try to get parents and children who at least look like they're from the same hemisphere. Not a very royal movie but you can still try it.
- DirectorJonathan MacPhersonStarsJordana LargyMatthew MacCaullBronwen SmithPrincess Camille travels to America to create a college exchange program and falls for professor Rhett, but when she discovers he was hired by her father to babysit her, she wonders if he cares more about her or his career.
- DirectorJonathan WrightStarsRachel SkarstenDan JeannotteGreta ScacchiClaire is an MI5 agent who becomes the royal nanny, having to overcome challenges on her mission as she keeps the family safe for Christmas and resists Prince Colin's charms. This was a great, fun movie. I kept saying "I can't believe this is a Hallmark movie" while watching it. Not very Christmas but good fun. Watch it.
- DirectorPaul ZillerStarsTamera Mowry-HousleyRonnie RoweIsabel BirchShelby is about to quit her job when her daughter becomes convinced that her boss Evan is the Christmas prince from a story Shelby made up a few years ago.Royal in name only, but was a great watch. Love the Mowrys. May not be for some royal watchers who like an actual Christmas prince, but try it.
- DirectorClare NiederpruemStarsHunter KingJordan RenzoFrank SmithTo win his mother's love, Prince Edmond gives her a corgi and hires Cecily, a dog trainer. Edmond and Cecily bond over the dog, and discover that love can grow in unexpected places.
- DirectorAnthony C. FerranteStarsCindy BusbyJilon VanOverNancy HardingMadison, a musician, jokingly says she is dating the prince of a small European nation. Her friend Sebastian is roped into impersonating the prince while visiting her family.
- DirectorPeter SullivanStarsBrittany UnderwoodJonathan StoddardTom ArnoldWhen her down on his luck confidential informant in a criminal investigation suddenly goes missing, a desperate young federal agent recruits his doppelganger to play his role.
- DirectorMarita GrabiakStarsErica DeutschmanChad ConnellJennifer VallanceA woman and her best friend think they landed the job of their dreams by giving people a great Christmas until they get a client who doesn't feel the same way.
- DirectorTodor ChapkanovStarsRoxanne McKeeDavid WittsSophie WardAmanda is the assistant to a famous photographer. - DirectorMichael DamianStarsJen LilleyMatthew MorrisonPaul FreemanFollows Emma as she encounters professional dancer Leo, whose enthusiasm for competitive dancing is diminishing. However, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presents itself for the novice to join the pro and astound Paris.
- DirectorJake HelgrenStarsJana KramerAdam SennMary-Margaret HumesWhen pro real estate 'closer' Lexie Crenshaw is sent to her hometown of Tubac, AZ to close on a big ranch before Christmas, she is soon forced to confront former family drama as well as the sexy ranch owner who refuses to sell his home.
