Votes: 744,801 | Gross: $233.92M

By far the best "X-men related" outing yet..including Wolverine's solo runs. The saying goes that the stronger the villains the better the comic-book movie & DOYP has first-class adversaries in the advanced-sentinels & Bolivar Trask. That opening battle between the half-dozen mutants & Sentinels has to be the best action sequence alongside Nightcrawler's attack on the White House (X2) & Wolverine's train fight (The Wolverine). The real-hero of the film is Wolverine. Here he has to mentor his mentor in order to save the mutant & human races & displays remarkable maturity. The true show-stopper/star-turn though has to be "Quicksilver". Cool as a cucumber the scene in which he rescues Magneto from the Pentagon has to be the coolest scene of the series! He was wait-for-it- LEGENDARY!
