Flywheel has a great message besides that of a used car salesman gone honest. It gives a great example of what living a life for Jesus means.

First released on April 9, 2003, this movie is the first full-length feature film by Sherwood Pictures, which now includes the production of Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous.

Votes: 18,053 | Gross: $10.18M

Another Sherwood Pictures film, this is about a high school football coach, who decides to start giving God the praise no matter what and motivates his team to give their all.

I was introduced to this film when my pastor showed a clip in church. The clip was the scene where the coach blindfolds a player and asks him to do a particular training exercise and not give up until he can't go any further. By the time the player takes off his blindfold, he's done more than he could have imagined.

Another great film, this is a South African biographical drama. The only thing about this film for me was the accent, I had to eventually put this films' captions on in order to understand what was being said.

The Esther story. I've heard some people say that this movie isn't very good, and usually their comments center on the added on romance. This film does add in a love story where the bible doesn't say anything about Esther other than she was made Queen. I'd rather believe there was some love there then she was forced into the relationship.

Director: Roger Lindley | Stars: Angus Macfadyen, Haylie Duff, Bradley Dorsey, Kevin Downes

Votes: 263

"A side note, the number one question I get about the movie is whether Taken By Grace is a true story or not. To be clear, Taken By Grace is purely fictitious. The reason for the question is from the text at the end of the movie that explains what happens to some of the characters a few years down the road. The inclusion of the explanation was an editorial decision I made to bring closure to an otherwise inconclusive ending. In other words, if the text was not included, we would probably need to shoot Taken By Grace part 2 to explain it. And the text punctuates a very emotional story with a nugget of humor. So please forgive us for any confusion." - off the website.
