Landis has a great sense of humor and it really shows with his comedy movies like Trading Places, The Three Amigos, Animal House, Blues Brothers and Oscar. The only movie of his I hated was Blues Brothers 2000 and that was because I felt it was unnecessary and there were some scenes that didn't make sense.

While I do not like the motion capture he uses in some of his films, I did like Polar Express and A Christmas Carol as well as Monster House. Back To The Future - well that goes without saying. The only movie I didn't like of his was Forrest Gump because I found it to be kind of boring.
