Note that the following directors are admired for some of their movies, not all. I very rarely find that I like all the works of a director (with the exception of Hayao Miyazaki).

The list is somewhat in order from the ones I like best and down.

The only movies I can really say that I admire Peter Jackson for are The Lord of the Rings movies. I do not think that the Hobbit films caught up to the brilliance, and many of his other movies I have not seen. Still, The Lord of The Rings triology was a masterpiece.
