This is the list of films from the year that I was born. I suppose that the top 4 could be considered my favorites, and the rest are just a loose ranking of the others that I saw. In making this list, I have discovered that I have not seen many films from the year that I was born. In making all of these yearly lists, I have discovered that my favorite movies aren't always the the ones that I think are the best. Take this list for example. The Godfather Part II is a brilliant film, but Herbie Rides Again ranks higher because I enjoyed the hell out of it when I was a kid and watched it repeatedly as a result.
