Playing with soaking white light and darkness of night the tough guy is taken out by his sure thing this beautiful noir begins with subtleties and use of music and when 'death' by white lies comes on its. just. perfect. she places the needle on the record, hes lying out on the bed gets up spins the mirror ball fast and walks over to her ever so slowly and she turns around ever ever so slowly and its soooo perfect. An yeah she is a vampire. But it doesnt matter. And I watched it in persian with no subtitles but it doesnt matter. Id love to know what she says to the street urchin whose skateboard she steals and whats on the number plate at the end and how to understand Persian but the film is beautiful and adventure soaked enough and the use of sound as tension is genius. Have to watch again "this films got a hold on me..."
