- CreatorTim HillStephen HillenburgNick JenningsStarsTom KennyRodger BumpassBill FagerbakkeThe misadventures of a talking sea sponge who works at a fast food restaurant, attends a boating school, and lives in an underwater pineapple. As many others have said, this show was only good for its first three seasons. It had witty writing, the characters are likable, and jokes that make children and adults laugh. Seasons 4-9 on the other hand....
- CreatorJoel HodgsonStarsJoel HodgsonMichael J. NelsonTrace BeaulieuIn the not-too-distant future Joel Robinson is held captive by Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank, forced to watch B-Grade movies on the Satellite of Love with the help of his robot friends: Cambot, Gypsy, Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot. This is the show that got me into B movies! This movie takes terrible movies, and writes hilarious riffing for it. It also has great characters, to make it more enjoyable.
- CreatorTim HeideckerEric WareheimStarsTim HeideckerEric WareheimBob OdenkirkTwo comedians, average nobodies, and celebrity guest stars perform bizarre low-budget comedy sketches. This show has a surreal sense of humor, and I like weird stuff. It has a colorful cast of weirdos, funny sketches, and even guest stars. Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! was easily one of Adult Swim's best shows.
- CreatorBruno HellerStarsBen McKenzieJada Pinkett SmithDonal LogueThe story behind Detective James Gordon's rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman's arrival.A great series based off of the Batman series. It has a gritty and dark atmosphere, characters old and new, and great acting. So, you should certainly check it out if you're a Batman fan.
- CreatorDavid X. CohenMatt GroeningStarsBilly WestJohn DiMaggioKatey SagalPhilip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy, is accidentally frozen in 1999 and thawed out on New Year's Eve 2999.This is the best adult cartoon, by far. It is cleverly funny, has a great trio of lead characters, good supporting characters, voice acting, and good plots. Certainly Matt Groening's best.
- CreatorTim HeideckerJohn C. ReillyEric WareheimStarsJohn C. ReillyCarol KraftDoug FosterSee Dr. Steve learn about restaurants, spend time with his family, conquer his fears, and more. Featuring guest appearances by Jan Skylar, Wayne Skylar, and David Liebe Hart.A spinoff series from TAEASGJ? Yes, please! This show is a spinoff from the Dr. Steve Brule sketches, starring John C. Reily. With absurd writing and witty humor, its a show made to please any Tim and Eric fan.
- CreatorJohn KricfalusiBob CampJim GomezStarsJohn KricfalusiBilly WestHarris PeetRen, a psychotic Chihuahua, and Stimpson J. Cat, a dimwitted Manx cat who goes by the nickname Stimpy, have a host of unusual adventures. This show was revolutionary for its time. It was the first cartoon to have a large amount of surrealist and grossout humor. It also has great writing and more good voice acting from Billy West (Futurama). Certainly check it out!
- CreatorSherwood SchwartzStarsBob DenverAlan Hale Jr.Jim BackusFour men and three women are stranded on an uncharted island following a torrential storm. This show has an interesting history, with many ins and outs. It has great characters and funny scenarios. If you haven't already, go watch it.
- StarsRik MayallAdrian EdmondsonNigel PlanerThe crazy and sometimes surreal comedic adventures of four very different students in Thatcher's Britain.Another surreal show. This show has great weirdness, funny characters, and good ol' fashion British humor. You should check out this somewhat forgotten show.
- CreatorTim HeideckerEric WareheimStarsTim HeideckerEric WareheimStephanie CourtneyHapless Tom Peters takes meetings with a bizarre and moronic mayor to share his ideas for bettering the town, always with disastrous results.Another Tim and Eric show ends the list. Unlike Awesome Show, this one is more lighthearted. It also has an interesting art style of live action drawn, with a paper and pen feeling to it. You should certainly watch any episode of it if you can find it.
