About fifty minutes of the film is all that's left and can be found at the BFI. Their synopsis of the footage can be found here While the footage is supposed to be some kind of cut down of the whole movie, it's very disjointed with none of the scenes being allowed to build at all. It does at least give you a good idea of Paul Wegener's performance. Max Shreck has only a small part as a crewman and doesn't turn up playing different symbolic roles as written in the F. Gwynplaine MacIntyre's bogus review of the film.
