As part of IMDb's 25th anniversary celebration, here are the top directors by inflation-adjusted domestic box office from 1990 to 2015. Unless specified, all dollar figures have been inflation-adjusted to 2015 dollars. Adjusting for inflation puts older movies on a more even footing with more recent titles.
