- DirectorDanny AntonucciStarsMatt HillSam VincentTony SampsonWhen a scam goes horribly wrong and leaves the neighborhood kids furious, the Eds embark on a journey to find Eddy's brother to save them from their consequences in the "Ed, Edd, n Eddy" series finale.Foster home movie was a great conclusion to the it's show and this was even better. After 100's of episodes, the boys always getting into trouble and arguments in the show. The adventure they go on is epic and it's great. BUt what makes this special is the ending. We see thee first adult in Ed's older abusive brother. When all the kids who throughout the show were mean to this three when thy stand up for them, showing thy care and the ending. It's so satisfying, year's of build up, and still brings a tear to my eye.
Grade: A - DirectorCraig McCrackenRob RenzettiStarsSean MarquetteGrey GriffinKeith FergusonA toy box appears at the front door of Foster's and Frankie is ordered to take it to the attic. When she looks inside the box, she gets sent to a strange world which has an imaginary friend that does whatever she wants. Frankie decides to stay because she never gets any appreciation for all her hard work. Bloo, Mac, Wilt, Eduardo, and Coco set out to rescue her.Throughout this list I talked about how the best cartoon network movies impacted their shows. Well this was a perfect, dark, mature, and vast way to end the show. So much good character development, the setting was great, and the villains emotions fls arnd.
Grade: A - DirectorMichael ChangBen JonesMatt YoungbergStarsGreg CipesScott MenvilleKhary PaytonAfter a battle with a high-tech villain named, Saiko-Tek, the Teen Titans travel to the city of Tokyo where they find themselves embroiled in a conflict with an ancient enemy. It was really close between slot 3 and 4. Although, this film did not impact or related to the show story's as other films below, it's just soo good. Leans fully into its anime inspiration. Great opening fight. Just a lean movie that keeps you own your toes. The use of colors is really beautiful. Super cool moment with robin out oof costume. Love the trip to japan the different setting and song moment with bastboy. Scary villain, good twist, suprr nostligc for me.
Grade: A- - DirectorTom WarburtonGuy MooreStarsDee Bradley BakerBen DiskinCree SummerThe knd must find a way to stop grandfather from ruling the world and turning everyone including adults into senior citizen zombies. Meanwhile numbuh one finds out his loser dad was the great numbuh zero.It was very close between slots 5-3. Operation ZERO felt so epic and has so many great payoffs. The twist with number zero, his family origin, and father's relation to number one all feel earned. Had a great villain and the moments between number one and his dad number zro are truly heartwarming.
Grade: A- - DirectorSebastian MontesScooter TidwellStarsTara StrongMeagan MoorePaul EidingWhen the Omnitrix begins a countdown to self-destruction, Ben and Gwen team up with Tetrax to find the watch's creator before it's too late.It was a really hard between the top 5, I love this movie. Vilgax was a great new character. It was dark, had great action scenes, it finally explore the space aspects of the show and fit well into the OG show storyline. Surprisingly mature.
Grade: A- - DirectorGenndy TartakovskyStarsChristine CavanaughDavid KaufmanEddie DeezenAfter Dexter is confronted with robots who wish to "destroy the one who saved the future," he uses his time machine to see how he saved it.The future element and first cartoon network movie are great. This cartoon movie did what the best ones did they had real stakes or impacts on the show. This one event was later referenced having all three future dexters was great and before season 3 this was the ending of the show, where it prob should have left off.
Grade: A- - DirectorRobert AlvarezRussell CalabreseShaun CashmanStarsGrey GriffinGreg EaglesRichard Steven HorvitzWhen the Boogey Man causes Grim to lose his powers, rank, and title in the Underworld Court for misusing his powers, he plots to seek out Horror's Hand and take over the world. It's up to Billy, Mandy, Irwin, and Grim to get to Horror's Hand before the Boogey Man does.Does not feel like an extended episode of the show. This was a fun epic pirate adventure and I love this as a kid. The code name kid next door reference was great. The stuff with grim's replacement. The opening shootout a great story that supports the show.
Grade: A- - DirectorShaun CashmanStarsGrey GriffinGreg EaglesRichard Steven HorvitzIrwin, Hoss Delgado, Jeff the Spider, Fred Fredburger, and General Skarr from the "Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" team up to fight an evil candy army from the Underworld on Halloween.Initially a spinoff from billy and mandy that failed to become a tv show. This was epic as a kid and had that early superhero feel before that genre took over. It was cool to all the past side characters together as a superhero team. And seeing irwin with powers was just great character building.
Grade: B+ - DirectorAaron HorvathPeter Rida MichailStarsGreg CipesScott MenvilleKhary PaytonA villain's maniacal plan for world domination sidetracks five teenage superheroes who dream of Hollywood stardom.Highest budget on her, not a fan of the show, but love this movie. Very funny and makes fun of all superhero movies. Smart, good voice cast, breezy plot, just a very enjoyable movie and feels separate, but also established from the show in a good way.
Grade: B+ - 2002–200844mTV-Y79.0 (255)TV EpisodeStarsBen DiskinRic StonebackLauren Tom"Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S." (It's Now The Extra Really Very Interesting End Wrap-up Story) In a series of interviews with the KND after they're all grown up, the former operatives are temporarily brought out of their decommissioned haze to discuss what happened during their very last mission with Numbuh one - where he disappeared and was never heard from again! It all started with a routine mission to get the Delightful Children's birthday cake, but when a mysterious boy steals it instead, he makes it available to whoever wants it, IF they can solve his 'simple' scavenger hunt first. Soon it's a mad, mad, mad, mad chase around the world as the KND, their friends, and virtually all of their enemies compete to win the yummiest cake ever while Nigel Uno is faced with the most difficult choice of his life: the KND or his friends, and the answer is out of this world.Considered a tv movie, could be higher if longer This was just great, it's extremely high concept and weird with the flashforwards.
Grade: B+ - 2004–20091h 6mTV-G8.1 (214)TV EpisodeDirectorCraig McCrackenCraig KellmanStarsGrey GriffinKeith FergusonTom KaneWhen 8 year old Mac's mother tells him that he's too old for an imaginary friend, he brings Blooregard "Bloo" Q. Kazoo to Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends where he is told that Bloo won't be adopted if Mac visits him every day. Soon after, Mac's older brother Terrence and an evil imaginary friend named Duchess make a plan to try to get rid of Bloo. Mac, with the help of friends named Wilt, Eduardo, and Coco, try to stop them.Could have been higher, but is more of an extended episode than feeling like a movie, but does a great job of setting up this world and getting you invested in.
Grade: B+
Really just an extended episode. - 2003–200743mTV-Y77.1 (103)TV EpisodeDirectorMatt EngstromGordon KentJuli MurphyStarsGrey GriffinGreg EaglesRichard Steven HorvitzThe Spider Queen wants to take revenge on Grim for denying her the rightful place as the Reaper. The second billy and mandy movie, but feels more like a extended episode than film, unlike the last one. This movie was creepy with the spider queen and as huge fan of this show I enjoyed it.
Gradee: B - DirectorCraig McCrackenStarsCathy CavadiniTara StrongElizabeth DailyAfter destroying the city of Townsville in a game of tag, a trio of super-powered little girls must redeem themselves by stopping a vengeful monkey's plot for world domination.Loved this show, this movie had one of the bigger if not biggest budget of these films. Has a lot of fun action, the final fight with the villain was solid, just a zany fun film from this show.
Grade: B
One of the few theatrical releases - DirectorPeter ChungStarsTia TexadaJesse HeadDante BascoAll Duncan wants is to be a normal kid in a normal school until he realizes he is something very far away from normal.Firebreather was a really cool idea, originally supposed to be a marvel character, the movie cam it's own thing. Had solid voice acting, good interesting animation, and a really cool mythos but it never came a show which is a bummer.
Grade: B - DirectorBrian LevantStarsKate MeltonHayley KiyokoRobbie AmellThe story of how Mystery Inc. was formed. The best live action of the cartoon network films, had a really good cast, and a scooby do fan it was watchable.
Grade: 71 - DirectorBrian LevantStarsRobbie AmellHayley KiyokoKate MeltonSchool is out and the familiar Scooby gang are looking to enjoy a long vacation. However, sightings of a Lake Monster cause them to band together once again to solve yet another mystery. Not as good as the first a fine scooby- doo movie that one could argue was better than james gunn.
Grade: 70 - DirectorAlex WinterStarsGraham PhillipsChristien AnholtHaley RammBen Tennyson returns home from summer vacation only to discover that a rapidly aging alien criminal named, Eon, is planning to use an ancient alien artifact to destroy Bellwood. So bad it's good? This movie was really nostalgic for me, the stuff with older dark ben was a great idea and later used in the show. Good concept but not great execution. Would love to see live action done right.
Grade: 70 - DirectorAlex WinterStarsShaun BowmanRyan KelleyAlyssa DiazAgainst his grandfather's orders, Ben Tennyson teams up with the daughter of an old enemy in order to prevent an alien infestation of earth.Back when cartoon network tried to capitalize on the live action frenzy sad to say all the live action films they made failed to be that good. This movie I had fun with at the time going back the effects and acting is rough, but I still had fun with it.
Grad: 70 - DirectorMatt MaiellaroDave WillisStarsDana SnyderDave WillisCarey MeansAn action epic that explores the origins of Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad, better known as the Aqua Teen Hunger Force, who somehow become pitted in a battle over an immortal piece of exercise equipment. Was never a huge fan of the show, so this movie just didn't really go it for me.
Grade: 70 - DirectorVictor CookStarsTara StrongMeagan MoorePaul EidingWhile dealing with the end of summer vacation and a critically damaged Omnitrix, Ben Tennyson finds himself targeted by a mysterious alien bounty hunter. The worse ben 10 movie, but all but one were not great. Tried to recapture the magic of the original kind of felt just like a retread.
Grade: 60 - DirectorPeter LauerStarsGaelan ConnellConnor Del RioJessie T. UsherFour very different high school teenagers battle trolls, ghouls and a dark leader of them named Maldark in a video game that goes haywire and releases the battle into the real world. Was never into the show and this movie that set it up was weird did not do it for me.
