A classically-trained actor with a deeply-rooted seed in theatre, Rocky Carroll has solidified his career in cinema, stage and television with varied and impressive performances. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, as Roscoe Carroll, he attended the prestigious School for Creative and Performing Arts, graduating in 1981 at age 18. Pursuing an interest to expand his knowledge in acting, he went on to attend The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis. For his efforts he earned a BFA. Finally he decided to move to New York to test his acting mettle and started out doing Shakespeare. He graduated to television work after proving himself on the stage, appearing in such series as Chicago Hope (1994), Law & Order (1990), The Game (2006), Boston Legal (2004) and The West Wing (1999). It could be said that his most notable and perhaps breakthrough role, however, came when he was cast as Assisant Director Leon Vance on NCIS (2003). It was a role that reunited him with his "Chicago Hope" cast mate Mark Harmon. His character Vance would later be promoted to Director of NCIS after the death of Director Jenny Shepard, played by Lauren Holly. In 2009, he appeared in a spin-off of the series, NCIS: Los Angeles (2009), joining the process of establishing the Los Angeles-based NCIS office.Rocky Carroll who plays NCIS Director Leon Vance was much different to Hetty Lange and Owen Granger. Him and Hetty had their differences but they didn't argue about them which was great. He also was firm and powerful compared to Owen Granger. Another thing about Leon Vance was that using his authority he was a much firmer, tougher and more powerful man and dealt with situations with the NCIS Detectives extremely well. He also was a lot better than Hetty, he should have been doing her role because she was too soft and he was a lot better than Owen Granger. In fact if they brought him in instead of Owen Granger alongside Hetty he would have surpassed Granger easily and it would have been excellent because Leon Vance was not moody like Granger and did have a sense of humour compared to Granger.- Actress

Linda Hunt is a veteran character actress who had only just begun acting in motion pictures when director Peter Weir required her peculiarities to animate one of cinema's most esoteric characters, Billy Kwan, the intellectual and virtuous Chinese-Australian dwarf and photographer, in the Australian romantic drama, The Year of Living Dangerously (1982). Hunt's work in the film earned an Oscar, among many critic awards, all for Best Supporting Actress.Linda Hunt who plays supervisory special agent and operational manager Hetty Lange is a very intelligent and knowledgeable woman who is very highly respected and loved by the NCIS: Los Angeles team. She also has a very close bond with G Callen because she knew his mum and knows about his background. She has achieved a lot but she also has her faults . In one episode when Technical Operator Eric Lange was trying to repair something involved in the investigation of crime, Hetty stood by him and pressurized him which made him shout. He didn't continuously shout but he was working extremely hard on something extremely difficult but Hetty was being a bit Pushy. When Eric is trying to concentrate doing his difficult work on the computer, Hetty keeps stalking him and interfering in anything important he is saying to his colleague Nell. Also Hetty loves relaxing and told Sam Hanna to try some Chrysanthemum Tea not realizing it was mouldy which Sam was aware of and found disgusting. Hetty can sometimes be a bit of a nuisance to others such as Sam and Callen etc and when they are investigating cases and have things sorted out and planned well, she may not treat them like adults and not allow them to go ahead with what they are doing which annoys the others such as Sam and Callen etc. She has also betrayed Sam which has made him and Callen very angry. In an episode Sam went undercover and when he got arrested and put in Jail by the Police, Hetty visited Sam pretending to be his Lawyer and left without letting him be free and be in Jail which made Sam angry and which also made Callen very angry. Hetty is excellent in her work but Leon Vance would have done a better job and would have been absolutely brilliant if he was Operational Manager.- Actor

Adam Jamal Craig was born on 3 September 1980 in Olathe, Johnson, Kansas, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for In Time (2011), NCIS: Los Angeles (2009) and Crossing Jordan (2001).Adam Jamal Craig who played probationary agent and technical specialist Dominic Vail aka Dom in season 1 was also a great man. It's sad that Dom got killed which made the NCIS: Los Angeles Team extremely sad, but when LAPD liaison Detective Marty Deeks joined it was a lot better and I preferred Deeks to Dom. Just because Dom was a Black guy he was not powerful, strong or tough compared to Deeks who was an excellent LAPD liaison Detective who was very powerful, strong and tough and who was also awesome at fighting criminals and big gangs compared to Dom. Dom was very good but Deeks was a lot better.- Actor

They have three children.Eric Christian Olsen who plays LAPD liaison Detective Marty Deeks is brilliant and when he came into NCIS: Los Angeles I was amazed. He his very powerful, tough, firm and had higher strengths and abilities which Dom didn't have.- Actress

Stunning pop culture icon, Hollywood leading lady and three-time NAACP award winner Nia Long returns to the big screen this fall in the highly anticipated Universal Pictures sequel The Best Man Holiday (in theaters November 15th) where she reunites with original castmates Taye Diggs ("Private Practice"), Terrence Howard (Hustle & flow), Morris Chestnut (The brothers) and Harold Perrineau ("Lost"). Additionally in Spring 2014, Long will star in Tyler Perry's Single mom's club alongside Wendi McLendon- Covey (Bridesmaids), Tyler Perry (Madea) and Amy Smart (Crank).
Early this year, Long joined the all-star cast of Showtime's "House of Lies" alongside Golden Globe Award winner Don Cheadle & Kristen Bell as "Tamara," a business school classmate and former flame of Marty's (Don Cheadle) who has been hired by the same consulting firm Galweather Stearn after taking time off to raise a family.
Long made her film debut in the poignant film portraying the social problems in inner-city Los Angeles, Boyz n the hood , and continued on to star in Friday, alongside Ice Cube and Chris Tucker, as well as Love Jones, which won the prestigious Audience Award at Sundance. Other notable film roles include Soul Food, Alfie opposite Jude Law, The Best man, Are We There Yet?, Big Momma's House 1 & 2 opposite Martin Lawrence, Stigmata, the Broken Hearts Club and Made in America.
On the small screen, Long's portrayal of "Officer Sasha Monroe" on NBC's hit crime drama "Third Watch" awarded her two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Actress in a Drama series. Long's other TV accomplishments include "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," "Boston Legal," "Judging Amy," and "Big Shots." Long also voiced "Roberta" in the first season of the Fox hit "the Cleveland Show."
Making her directorial debut on Ashanti's music video "Baby" and Yolanda Adam's "This Too Shall Pass," Nia continues her work behind the camera and is developing a feature film that centers on renowned world champion boxer and trainer Ann Wolfe.
In addition to her film and TV work, Long's passion lies in serving her community. With her family roots planted in Trinidad, Grenada, and Barbados, Long's long term goals are to connect women in the US to those of the islands and to mentor young girls to regain their self-esteem. Additionally, Long lends her support to Black Girls Rock, an organization that promotes the arts for young women of color and encourages dialogue on the ways women of color are portrayed in the media. In 2012 she was named an official surrogate to the Barack Obama reelection campaign.
Nia was born in Brooklyn, to Talita (Gillman), a teacher and printmaker, and Doughtry Long, a high school teacher and poet. She now calls Los Angeles home where she lives with her 12 year old son, Massai, 14 month old son, Kez and partner Ime Udoka, an Assistant Coach for the San Antonio Spurs. Long loves to cook organic farmers market fresh meals adding a twist of her Trinidadian heritage. When she's not juggling between her career and motherhood, she enjoys staying active by doing pilates, boxing, hiking, and horseback riding. Long also finds pleasure in traveling and experiencing different cultures throughout the world. One of her favorite locations to visit is Jamaica, a place she calls her second home where she can reflect and refuel.Nia Long who plays Shay Mosley is a woman I really don't like, just can't stand and who pisses me off. When Shay Mosley came into NCIS: Los Angeles in Season 9 after replacing Owen Granger she has been a very cocky, critical, awkward and moody woman do deal with. She also doesn't look out or care about her team and wasn't there for them or looked out for them when they got nearly killed but brutally injured when some Mexican Terrorists tried to kill Sam, Callen, Deeks and Kensi in Mexico. She also is far too hubristic, doesn't do things with good intentions or from the kindness of her heart, has no respect for the team respecting Hetty and wanting to go by Hettys rules, doesn't have a sense of humour and is also far worse than Owen Granger was and has tried to separate the NCIS Team who believe in unity and working together and has caused lots of problems for them making team members such as G Callen, Deeks, Kensi etc not really like her.- Actor

He passed away in January 2017 due to throat cancer. He is survived by his wife and three children.Owen Granger who was an Assistant Director was a very stubborn, critical and disrespectful man who undermined Hetty Langs NCIS Team which hurt and made the other members angry. He also was moody at times, his listening skills were poor and the NCIS Team could do without him and were happy when he was not there. He was able to help and assist them in crime cases which was very good but he had a lot of faults.- Actor

McRaney holds the distinction of being the last guest star to meet "Matt Dillon" in a gunfight on Gunsmoke (1955) - in the episode, Hard Labor (1975), first broadcast on February 24, 1975 (he lost). In fact, in the early portion of Gerald McRaney's career he almost always played the villain; but, since his first series, Simon & Simon (1981), hit it big, he's played mostly good guys. The character of passionate but irresponsible "Rick Simon" gave McRaney the opportunity to play a dramatic role with a comedic edge. A second hit series, Major Dad (1989), showcased his talent for comedy. McRaney met and fell in love with fellow southerner Delta Burke when she guest-starred on Simon & Simon (1981). He later appeared on her series, Designing Women (1986), as her ex-husband, although it is an unwritten rule that actors with current series don't do guest roles; they were married not long after.Admiral Kilbride wasn't the best choice when Hetty was not there. He also was very rude, too critical of others, stubborn and arrogant compared to Hetty who was more humble and friendlier in her ways in dealing with the other members of staff.- Actor
