New Order is an English rock band formed in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. New Order were formed in the demise of their previous post-punk band Joy Division, following the suicide of vocalist Ian Curtis. They were joined by Gillian Gilbert on keyboards later that year. Their integration of post-punk with electronic and dance music made them one of the most critically acclaimed and influential bands of the 1980s.New Order are an absolutely brilliant Electropop group who with Depeche Mode are the leaders in Electropop, who also have done loads and whose singer Bernard Sumner has also featured as guest vocalist on an 808 State tune called 'Spanish Heart'. The Human League are a Sheffield based New Wave Electronic Synth-Pop band fronted by Phil Oakey. The band originally comprised of Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware who went on to form the other Sheffield Electronic band Heaven 17 with Glenn Gregory. Although the line-up of the band has changed over the years, the three key members have remained: Phil Oakey, Susanne Sulley, and Joanne Catherall.
Following the initial change in line-up and the release of 'Sound of the Crowd' (1981), The Human League achieved international stardom, with their hit singles 'Love Action (I Believe In Love)' (1981), 'Mirror Man' (1982), '(Keep Feeling) Fascination' (1982) all reaching the top three on the UK chart. Most notably, their single 'Don't You Want Me' (1981) reached number 1 worldwide, including the United States. They have since notched up over twenty top-ten and-top-twenty singles and six top-ten albums, 'Dare' (1981) peaking at number 1. Phil Oakey also worked on some solo projects with 'Giorgio Moroder' between 1984 and 1985, most notably the number 3 hit 'Togehter in Electric Dreams' for the original soundtrack to the feature film Electric Dreams (1984).
The Human League are still going strong, the forthcoming studio album 'Credo' to be released in 2011. They have sold more than 20 million records worldwide. The Human League are an absolutely brilliant and very talented Electropop group who also have done some excellent albums and brilliant tunes. Tunes such as 'Don't You Want Me', 'Empire State Human', 'Being Boiled', 'Heart Like A Wheel', 'The Lebanon' 'Human' etc are absolutely brilliant.- Actor

Thompson Twins was a British pop band that formed in April 1977. The band was named after the two bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson in Hergé's comic strip The Adventures of Tintin. Initially a new wave group, they switched to a more mainstream pop sound and achieved considerable popularity from 1983, scoring a string of hits in the United Kingdom, the United States, and around the globe. In 1993, they changed their name to Babble, to reflect their change in music from new wave to dub-influenced chill-out.The Thompson Twins are an absolutely brilliant and very talented Electropop group who have done some excellent albums and brilliant tunes. Lead Singer Tom Bailey is a talented musician who not only sings, but plays Keyboards and Guitars. Tom has an absolutely amazing voice which can be heard on the hit 'Hold Me Now' and which also is very powerful in the hit tune 'Doctor Doctor'. The Thompson Twins have been a bit underrated but are awesome, talented and have had big success because of their best tune 'Hold Me Now' which 64 000 000 fans and millions of fans more and people love. Other tunes they have done such as 'Doctor Doctor', 'In The Name Of Love' etc are also brilliant and I also prefer The Thompson Twins to Electropop groups such as Heaven 17.
