Action star Tom Cruise is often regarded as one of the last stars in Hollywood right now. The actor is known for his commitment to the cinematic experience through films such as the Mission Impossible franchise and Top Gun: Maverick. The actor has also delivered amazing dramatic performances in films like Magnolia and Jerry Maguire.
While Cruise is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, the actor has also faced many struggles in life. The Risky Business star has come under fire for his association with the Church of Scientology and for his failed marriages. The actor has also revealed his childhood struggles with abuse from his father. However, none of that seems to have stopped the ‘savior of cinema’ from being a juggernaut.

Are rom-coms on the resurgence? If they are, Netflix is ahead of the pack with several new ones out on the streamer this year already. “Players,” “Irish Wish, and “The Heartbreak Agency” didn’t fare too well with critics, but “One Day” did, so maybe that means “Mother Of The Bride” could a sleeper hit for the streamer this Spring.

After two weeks of being on “The Masked Singer” chopping block, Sisqó is finally gone-guh-gone-gone-gone.
I think I’ll sing it again: Sisqó’s been dumped like a truck, truck, truck. “The Masked Singer” has removed his butt, butt, butt. Let me see (who sang) that song!
That’s right, “Thong Song” superstar Sisqó on Wednesday became the latest celebrity to be unmasked on “The Masked Singer,” revealed to be the Lizard.
For Sisqó as the Lizard, several of the panelists had figured it out. Robin Thicke and Rita Ora knew it was Sisqó. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg picked Ray J. Ken Jeong said it was Michael Bivins.
Lizard was voted out after being one of the two lowest vote-getters in the two previous episodes.

“God took her from me on the day of her first communion, don’t you see? He waited until then to teach me that children pay for the sins of their parents.”
Is there anything quite so devastating as the concept of original sin? The idea that we’re damned at conception before we’ve had a chance to take our first breath? What will it take to find salvation and how much will we have to pay for the actions of those who came before us? It’s a particularly painful topic for women. With Eve’s first bite of the apple weighing heavily against us and men holding all the levers of power, the path to righteousness can feel like a minefield. Some women will kill to escape these oppressive gender-based norms while others double down and kill to make sure they stay in place. The Lady Killers...

Actor Winona Ryder met with her frequent collaborator and friend Tim Burton to star in their hit film Beetlejuice. But it took some time before Ryder even realized she was speaking with the director.
Winona Ryder didn’t know that film directors could be like Tim Burton Winona Ryder | Rick Kern/WireImage
Ryder hadn’t done too many movies in the film industry before Beetlejuice. Starting out, she was mostly known for Lucas and Square Dance. But she’d been around the film industry enough to have certain expectations of filmmakers, seeing them as caring but rigid authority figures.
But this was until Ryder met with director Tim Burton, who showed her a different type of filmmaker. In an interview with Collider, she recalled meeting someone in a building while waiting for Burton to show up. And and her newfound acquaintance would have a conversation, with Ryder completely unaware who this person really was.

Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood at present. He found success as a professional wrestler before he ventured into the world of acting and, subsequently, business. Given his fame, Johnson is often invited to talk shows, and he made an appearance on Drew Barrymore’s show recently.

If there's one actress whose name is synonymous with the "Halloween" franchise, created by director John Carpenter in 1978, it's Jamie Lee Curtis. If there's another, it's Danielle Harris. Curtis holds the record for most "Halloween" movie appearances with six film, not counting archival footage, and the late Donald Pleasance is in five (though his likeness was used in the new "Halloween" trilogy). Harris, however, appearing in four "Halloween" movies, is the only actress to play two different characters in the franchise, and she did so by never taking no for an answer. When conditions were wrong, she walked, and when arbitrary directorial edicts threatened to block her, she acted her way back in with the best audition.
Harris was a young child when she first encountered Michael Myers. What happened to that little girl? She grew up, but she never stopped working. These days, she's a mother in real life,...

Prince Harry may still be quarrelling with his family and the British courts, but Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has put a dispute with one of her relatives behind her.
After almost two years of litigation and several amended complaints, a federal judge today threw out the defamation case from the former Suits star’s half-sister. In fact, it’s no exaggeration to say Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell tossed out the efforts by Samantha Markle hard.

After almost two years of litigation and several amended complaints, a federal judge today threw out the defamation case from the former Suits star’s half-sister. In fact, it’s no exaggeration to say Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell tossed out the efforts by Samantha Markle hard.

Hannah Einbinder was moved to tears. Nick Thune was moved to sing. John Leguizamo shared hard truths. Samantha Bee rallied the crowd on behalf of womens rights. And everyone who took part in Variety’s Power of Comedy Awards on Friday made fun of the awards themselves, now in their second year at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
“Nothing is more show business-y than an award that says ‘We love that you’re here’ two years after network executives have said ‘We need you to be gone,’ ” Bee told the packed house at the famed Acl Theater, a nod to the demise in 2022 of her TBS series “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.”

Meghan Markle had critical words for female online bullies who targeted her while she was pregnant, saying their comments were “not catty, it’s cruel” — and also took aim at the big tech platforms that hosted those posts.

Meghan Markle has been on a reinvention tour lately, and things are looking up for her and her royal husband, Prince Harry.
Meghan has a new stylist, one that is close to the singer Adele, who is choosing her wardrobe options. Choosing a stylist is a big step for Meghan, and it seems to work, judging by the new opportunities coming her way.
Celebrity stylist Jamie Mizrahi has also worked with Riley Keough, Jeremy Allen White, and Jennifer Lawrence, as reported by Monsters and Critics.
Page Six reports that while Meghan had not used a stylist during her working royal days, the addition of Jamie will undoubtedly help with the “Hollywood glam” that is missing now.
Meghan’s recent working dinner was in a toned-down outfit so she could stand out, which was something she learned from Jamie. Her dinner with Terry Wood, from Oprah’s Harpo Productions, may have paid off.

It’s already been a busy 2024 for Netflix. Out is long time film chief Scott Stuber; in are live sports (sort of), a huge Sundance splash, and 18 Oscar nominations, the most of any individual studio. What does the next 11 months have in store? Answer: a hell of a lot.
Netflix on February 1 released a teaser video for its biggest properties arriving in 2024, including more than 50 new movies and 90 new and returning series. The highlight is “Squid Game 2,” the follow-up season to the South Korean dystopian smash hit that became Netflix’s biggest show of all time.
At the end of Netflix’s mega-tease, we see Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) and his new bright-red hair walking through an airport when a mysterious voice on his phone tells him, “You’re going to regret the choice you made.”
“I’m going to find you, no matter what it takes,” he says in return.

In this deeply moving, compassionate exploration, determining whether this small and goofy group actually has real powers is beside the point.

Few faces have been more ubiquitous. In the early 1980s, Brooke Shields was the most famous teenager in the country, gracing magazine covers, appearing in ads, starring in movies — and generating controversy.
