Singer Brian McKnight‘s ex-wife and estranged children are speaking out after McKnight called them a product of sin.” The comments came from a video McKnight shared to his Instagram about getting rid of negativity, “even if that evil and negativity is related [to you],” McKnight stated.
One of McKnight’s biological children, Niko McKnight, wrote on social media, “I’m evil. That’s wild. The guy who used to make me clean his used condoms out his bathroom at 15 before Lisa got home is calling me evil.”
Niko went on to discuss his father and siblings further. He acknowledged that he and his siblings were “bad children,” but his sisters “deserved better.”
We saved that man from federal prison. That’s all I’m going to say. But after all of this, I still love him so much because I know there’s my dad in there somewhere. But he’s a drone now.

Willie Nelson’s 1998 album Teatro stands as one of his latter-day best. It’s an immersive, transcendent listening experience produced by Daniel Lanois that features Emmylou Harris on haunting background vocals and finds Nelson reimagining songs like “Darkness on the Face of the Earth” and “My Own Peculiar Way.” Remarkably, it wasn’t issued on vinyl upon its initial debut and only appeared as a platter during a 2015 Record Store Day release.

Thirty years ago when Robin Thicke was 16, he recorded his first album with R&b star Brian McKnight. But the music wasn’t epic.
“[The label] was willing to put it out, but there wasn’t going to be a lot of promotion money behind it, so I said, ‘Let’s shelve it,’” he recalls.
While still recording his own music, he went on to develop his musicality by writing and producing for others, including Michael Jackson, Usher, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Jordan Knight, Brandy, Raven-Symoné, 98 Degrees, Marc Anthony, Mya, Color Me Badd, Guy Sebastian, Brownstone, Will Young, Kevon Edmonds, Ron Keating, Chante Moore and others.
But he needed to get back to making music for himself, so the early twentysomething decided he wouldn’t cut his hair until he heard his song on the radio.

FX's "Atlanta" is known for throwing viewers a curveball or two, but the show's reputation for unpredictable twists is why many will miss it after it concludes its final season this fall. Over the course of four seasons, the critically acclaimed series has turned itself into must-see TV for its bold innovation and sharp comedy, but the show's surprise guest appearances every now and then have also become a fan-favorite trend.
Though some episodes of "Atlanta" have faked viewers out with teases of appearances from folks like D'Angelo and Tupac and even made big moments out of its signature characters like Donald Glover's Teddy Perkins, the actual stars who have been seen in the series are always a real treat. Even those who were originally slated to guest-star on "Atlanta" have been a surprise for viewers.

Rod Wave is an unabashed romantic, deploying a voice that blends airy pop melodies, emo yelps and guttural country rap idioms. On his fourth album, Beautiful Mind, the 22-year-old St. Petersburg, Florida vocalist gushes about love in a way that seems unusual for someone so closely identified with rap. “I don’t wanna be alone…don’t leave me alone,” he pleads anxiously on “Leave Me Alone.” He’s a complicated man, teetering between career ambition, melancholy introspection, macho aggression, and heartbroken sensitivity. And while he carefully avoids suicidal ideation,...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 5 Episode 9 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired April 28 on Fox.
The unmaskings took a week off, as Wednesday’s episode of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” was instead a special one-hour sing-a-long edition that doubled as “The Maskys,” an award celebrating some of the season’s most memorable performances.

But however to spell it, “The Maskys” also included a joint singalong to “Never Gonna Give You Up,” by Rick Astley, featuring previously unmasked celebrities Bobby Brown (Crab), Tamera Mowry (Seashell), Mark McGrath (Orca), Nick Cannon (Bulldog), Logan Paul (Grandpa Monster), Danny Trejo (as Raccoon), Caitlyn Jenner (as Phoenix) and Kermit the Frog (as Snail).

Cotton Candy rocked and rolled her way through an inspirational routine to Kesha‘s version of “This is Me” and finished things off by flying through the air in a bouquet of balloons.

“The Masked Dancer” Season 1 came to end on Wednesday night with Gabby Douglas (Cotton Candy) winning the Diamond Mask trophy. However, there was another competition going on at the judges’ table all season long that also bears mentioning: which panelist was the best guesser? Heading into the finale, both Paula Abdul and Brian Austin Green were tied at two points apiece. But with three celebrities still left to unmask — Cotton Candy, Sloth and Tulip — it was still anybody’s game. Before the confetti fell on Fox’s reality TV show, Paula ended up as the judge with the most correct guesses. So how’d she do it?

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s Season 1 finale of “The Masked Dancer.”)
The first season of Fox’s “Masked Singer” spinoff “The Masked Dancer” came to a showstopping end Wednesday with a two-hour finale that revealed the identities of the three remaining contestants, one of whom was crowned the inaugural winner.
Following the first hour’s season recap and in-depth look at the clues for the Top 3 competitors — Tulip, Sloth and Cotton Candy — the 9 o’clock portion featured the trio’s final performances.
Tulip did a dance to Ava Max’s “Kings & Queens” and gave “followers” as her final “Word Up” clue.
The Sloth contestant did his last performance to “Ballroom Blitz” by The Struts and said “magical” as his voice hint.
Meanwhile, Cotton Candy chose Kesha’s “This Is Me” as the backdrop to her final dance and picked “foundation” as her last “Word Up” of the season.

Olympic gold medalist gymnast Gabby Douglas is the first-ever winner of “The Masked Dancer,” having scored the show’s diamond mask trophy after being revealed as Cotton Candy.
Douglas was victorious despite facing off with two trained dancers in the finale. Runner-up Sloth turned out to be “Dancing with the Stars’” Maksim Chmerkovskiy. And in third place was Tulip, who was revealed to be Mackenzie Ziegler (“Dance Moms”).
Douglas was unmasked after dancing to “This Is Me,” by Kesha. The panelists were torn between whether the Cotton Candy was a gymnast or an ice skater. Paula Abdul figured out it was Gabby Douglas, while Ashley Tisdale named her teammate Simone Biles. Brian Austin Green thought it was Tara Lapinski, Ken Jeong named Michelle Kwan.

And then there were three. Fox’s “The Masked Dancer” wraps up its first season on Wednesday night with a battle royale between three finalists: Tulip, Sloth and Cotton Candy.
Variety has a first look at the two-hour episode, specifically the debate among panelists on whether Cotton Candy is an ice skater or a gymnast in real life. Here, Ken Jeong guesses that Cotton Candy could be Olympic figure skater medalist Michelle Kwan, while Brian Austin Green agrees with Jeong and says the skater he has in mind can do gymnast-like flips. Ashley Tisdale, however, disagrees: “You fell like someone who knows how to land,” she says, referring to a tumble the dancer took early in the season. Tisdale believes Cotton Candy could be either Simone Biles or Gabby Douglas, two Olympians who have been guessed in the past for the character.

Cotton Candy has been a front-runner to win the inaugural season of “The Masked Dancer” since she vaulted into the competition after a nearly dance-ending fall while practicing an aerial stunt for her debut performance. The fearless sugary confection proved to be resilient when she rebounded with five flawless routines that earned rave reviews from panelists Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green, Ken Jeong and Ashley Tisdale. Now she’s hoping to wrap her sticky fingers around the Diamond Mask trophy and become the first masked celebrity to win the Fox reality TV dancing competition.
Cotton Candy delivered her first performance in Episode 2, wowing the panel with an acrobatic routine to “Glitter in the Air” by Pink. Her graceful, precise movements combined with her confidence and stage presence convinced Paula that this colorful performer was a trained dancer. The Sloth may have gotten off to a sluggish start on Season 1 of “The Masked Dancer,” but he slowly clawed his way into the finale and will now compete to become the first winner of the Diamond Mask trophy. Initially going for laughs, the leisurely creature gradually unveiled hidden talents that have wowed panelists Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green, Ken Jeong and Ashley Tisdale. With just one episode remaining, the Sloth now hopes to become the first winner of the Fox reality TV dancing competition.
The Sloth delivered his first performance in Episode 2, proving he had a fun sense of humor by dancing to “What I Like About You” by the Romantics on various pieces of exercise equipment. While portions of his routine weren’t exactly graceful, a trained eye like Paula’s saw enough precision between the laughs to pin him as a trained dancer. In episode 3 the Sloth...

The Tulip quickly blossomed into front-runner status on “The Masked Dancer” after she came out tapping in the series premiere episode in December. The elegant flower sent panelists Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green, Ken Jeong and Ashley Tisdale into a frenzy when they realized they were witnessing a dancing phenom. Now in full bloom, the Tulip will compete for the Diamond Mask trophy in hopes of becoming the first celebrity to win the Fox reality TV dancing competition.
Tulip delivered her first performance in Episode 1, dancing her petals off in a tightly choreographed tap routine to “Fergalicious” by Fergie. The panel was convinced the blooming flower was no novice to dance, but they couldn’t decide if she was a professional dancer, athlete or pop star. Tulip’s contemporary performance to “Fields of Gold” by Eva Cassidy in Episode 4 brought guest panelist Rob Lowe to tears and solidified her position as the one to beat.

Despite having the heart of a champion the Zebra couldn’t keep up with his fellow semifinalists on Wednesday’s episode of “The Masked Dancer.” The fiery hoofer that we loved watching torch the stage was eliminated in fourth place and revealed to be boxing legend and two-time Olympic Gold medalist Oscar De La Hoya. After six episodes of “The Masked Singer,” Paula Abdul has officially taken the lead in the competition going on at the judges’ table. She now has two correct guesses — Brian McKnight as Cricket and Jordin Sparks as Exotic Bird — while her fellow panelists only have one apiece. Paula had an unfair advantage when it came to the Exotic Bird as she’s worked with Jordin before on Season 6 of “American Idol,” which she won. “I wanna hug you but I know we can’t!” Jordin proclaimed after being unmasked in the sixth episode. It's been nearly 22 years since Sister, Sister went off the air, but the show still holds a very special place in my heart. Cue "The Only One For Me."
So, I'm sure you can imagine my excitement when I recently got to chat with Tamera Mowry all about the show and the status of the reboot. Since the revival was first announced in January 2018, there hasn't been a lot of news about where it currently stands, but according to Mowry, it all depends on timing. Fox will be doing a little cross-promotion on Wednesday’s “The Masked Dancer” when the competition welcomes “Call Me Kat” star Mayim Bialik as a guest panelist who has an intriguing theory about the identity of the Sloth contestant.

Gym, tanning, laundry, dance. “Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino is the next celebrity to be revealed on Fox’s “The Masked Dancer.”

“I’m not a singer or a dancer, but this is probably a little bit more in my wheelhouse,” Guadagnino told Variety. “So I was like, I’m a little scared but I think I can make this work let’s try it. I didn’t really even know I was gonna make it past like week one, so I ended up falling in love with it and really getting competitive with it. It was great experience.”

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s “The Masked Dancer.”)
It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for: The first season of Fox’s “The Masked Dancer” made it to its Super Six round Wednesday, when the remaining contestants from Groups A and B came together to perform for the first time and one competitor was eliminated and unmasked.
During the hour, Hammerhead, Tulip, Exotic Bird, Cotton Candy, Sloth and Zebra all took the stage to give their first dances since making it into the final six.
After each of those contestants shook it all off, it was time for panelists Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green, Ashley Tisdale and guest judge Whitney Cummings to vote for their favorite dancers and, in doing so, determine the weakest performer.

Each of these hop-steppers gave it their all on the stage on Wednesday night, but one was sadly eliminated and forced to reveal their true identity in front of America. Special guest judge Whitney Cummings joined regular panelists Ashley Tisdale, Brian Austin Green, Ken Jeong and Paula Abdul this week.
