But thanks to video, we do see FBI‘s Jeremy Sisto bring Jubal Valentine to International often enough, including in the first two episodes of the third season. And the actor enjoys seeing that more. As was established from the start of the latest spinoff in the franchise, Jubal and Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank) have history, with the former noting, “If I had to go to war and could only pick two agents to go shoulder to shoulder with, he’d be one of them.” “Those two are thick as thieves. They’ve been through it together. They’ve known each other for years, and their backstory is they’ve worked together many times,...

Sadly, it paved the way for Hobbs (Roshawn Franklin) to be killed while undercover.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the FBI: International Season 3 premiere “June.”] The good news: The entire Fly Team survived that explosion that took out their offices. The bad news: FBI: International Season 3 still begins with them saying goodbye to everyone. In the aftermath of the explosion and tracking down the man who planted the bomb (and getting him to turn on his boss), the agent most injured is Raines (Carter Redwood), who saved Powell’s (Greg Hovanessian) life and ended up pinned under rubble; it’s touch and go, and it looks like he might lose his leg, but thanks to a call from Jubal (FBI‘s Jeremy Sisto) to get a surgeon to the hospital, he just has a long recovery ahead of him before he’ll be back out in the field. And that’s a good thing, since Jamie (Heida Reed) decides she’s leaving and transferring to the Washington field office. Though Scott (Luke ...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the FBI Season 6 premiere “All the Rage.”] We knew that FBI would be losing one of its own to kick off the sixth season, but that doesn’t mean we were prepared for how it goes down! Just before the team starts tracking down a terrorist, Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) encourages Tiffany (Katherine Renee Kane) to be more assertive. And one of the ways in which she does that is by enlisting Hobbs (Roshawn Franklin) for an undercover surveillance op. However, after she encourages him to follow the suspect into the bathroom, he’s shot and killed. What’s worse: The terrorist remains at large at the end of the episode. Kane takes us inside this episode and teases how Tiffany’s dealing with her grief going forward. Talk about Tiffany stepping up. It comes about after Jubal talks to her about being more assertive. What’s been holding her back from doing so ...

After a lengthy hiatus, FBI is almost back on the air, and big changes are on the horizon for all characters.
Scola’s (John Boyd) world changed like never before when he became a father at the end of FBI Season 5 when Nina (Shantel VanSanten) gave birth.
Looking ahead to FBI Season 6, Episode 1, it sounds like he’s trying to balance his work life and his duties as a father.
Of course, he will be around more than usual since VanSanten has joined FBI: Most Wanted as a series regular.
As we know from that show, the cases take the team nationwide, meaning that Scola has to find that balance faster than typical parents.
We don’t know whether we’ll see Nina’s decision to join Most Wanted on-screen and what kind of conversations it started between the couple.
Nina will have more to do on FBI: Most Wanted...

It’s not the small town diner setting that makes Last Straw – the feature directorial debut by Alan Scott Neal – stand out, though it does give it a fresh angle for its home invasion thrills. It’s the unique narrative structure that not only leans into the prevalent feeling of rage but reframes the visceral violence that ensues. While Last Straw ultimately fails to stick to the landing, the commitment to escalating the tension and violence through rage-fueled characters fascinates all the same.
Twenty-year-old Nancy (Jessica Belkin) feels trapped and fed up with her life. Stuck in a transitionary period post-high school, Nancy tries and fails to care for her dead mother’s beloved car and hangs out with her still-in-high-school best pal Tabitha (Tara Raani). Nancy also happens to be bitter about an unwanted pregnancy, which compounds her frustrations with working at her dad’s (Jeremy Sisto) diner as a waitress-turned-manager.

[This interview was conducted prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike authorization.] How well do you know Jeremy Sisto‘s TV and film characters? Is it as well or perhaps better than he does? When Sisto stopped by TV Insider’s office in the spring (ahead of the FBI–Most Wanted–International crossover event and before the actors’ strike), we not only had to have him dish on his costars and recall his audition for Clueless, but also test his knowledge of his own characters. What makes it tricky is that Sisto has played law enforcement characters on at least three shows — Detective Jack Roth on Wicked City, Detective Cyrus Lupo on Law & Order, and currently Assistant Special Agent Jubal Valentine on FBI (returning for its sixth season on CBS) — and so some of those quotes are very similar … and therefore not the easiest for Sisto to answer. But his characters elsewhere, like in Clueless and on...

FBI season 6 is confirmed and set to air in the future, but it has been delayed due to ongoing strikes in the industry. The show follows a team of special agents in the New York field office as they investigate major cases, similar to shows like Law & Order and NCIS. Series star Missy Peregrym will be leading the FBI season 6 cast as Special Agent Maggie Bell, and the show is expected to continue its weekly procedural format with high-stakes storylines.
Between the ability to stream and the ability to watch live TV, crime procedurals are more popular than ever, so it makes perfect sense for an FBI season 6 renewal to occur. The CBS series has two spin-off series already even though it’s only been on the air since 2018. Starring Missy Peregrym and Jeremy Sisto, FBI has proven to be an incredibly popular addition to the huge slate of crime dramas on television.

Characters from Dick Wolf's FBI franchise, including FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, frequently appear in crossover episodes with the original FBI series. Chicago Pd character Hailey Upton, played by Tracy Spiridakos, made a cameo in FBI season 2, episode 19, working alongside the FBI team during a murder case. The FBI franchise's characters, including Jess Lacroix, Tali Skye Lacroix, Kenny Crosby, Sheryll Barnes, Hana Gibson, Clinton Skye, Remy Scott, Jamie Kellett, Andre Raines, and Cameron Vo, have all made appearances in FBI episodes or crossover events.
Dick Wolf is the king of network procedural television series, and the television producer and his team often orchestrate crossovers between his shows, especially regarding FBI. The CBS crime drama series, which premiered in 2018 and finished airing its fifth season in 2023, focuses on a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) unit in New York City. Missy Peregrym, who plays Maggie Bell in FBI, was temporarily written out of the series twice due to her real-life pregnancies. In season 2, Maggie's absence was explained by a temporary undercover assignment, and in season 4, she was injured and hospitalized. Maggie returns in season 5 after recovering from her injuries and resumes her partnership with Oa.
Missy Peregrym is one of the two main protagonists in FBI alongside Zeeko Zaki, who plays Omar Adom "Oa" Zidan. However, even though Peregrym's character, Maggie Bell, is one of the faces of the CBS crime drama television series, the actress is noticeably missing from many episodes in a few seasons of the popular procedural show. As a result, some viewers were curious about why Peregrym was temporarily written out of the series not once but twice throughout its run.

All the characters that exist in the ever-expanding menagerie of mass media, whether they are a fully fleshed-out protagonist with hopes and dreams or just bare-bones stock side characters, have certain defining characteristics and personality traits that assign them to a specific character trope. Despite the complexities a character may possess when examining them underneath a metaphorical microscope, every single one falls into the trappings of a trope, some more obviously than others. The "Chosen One," the "Damsel in Distress" and the "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" are just some of the many blocks used to build characters. And when looking at the 2002 psychological horror movie May directed by Lucky McKee, it's abundantly clear that Angela Bettis' May embodies the "Creepy Loner Girl" trope.
The Creepy Loner Girl is pretty self-explainable, with its two adjectives being the main attributes these characters align with, and horror movies are home to some of the most iconic weird women.
