It’s not as easy for the FBIs to host big crossovers like Dick Wolf‘s other franchises, One Chicago and Law & Order; the Most Wanted team is on the move, and International is overseas. But thanks to video, we do see FBI‘s Jeremy Sisto bring Jubal Valentine to International often enough, including in the first two episodes of the third season. And the actor enjoys seeing that more. As was established from the start of the latest spinoff in the franchise, Jubal and Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank) have history, with the former noting, “If I had to go to war and could only pick two agents to go shoulder to shoulder with, he’d be one of them.” “Those two are thick as thieves. They’ve been through it together. They’ve known each other for years, and their backstory is they’ve worked together many times,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI Season 6 Episode 2 “Remorse.”] As is the case quite often on a procedural drama, a tough day on the job coincides with a problem off it for Jeremy Sisto‘s Jubal Valentine in the latest FBI. The good news? Neither seems to result in long-term problems or concerns. Just as Jubal gets to work, his ex-wife Sam (Mara Davi) calls to tell him that their son Tyler (Caleb Reese Paul) was suspended after getting caught drinking. Jubal is worried given his own history with alcoholism; he’s talked to his son because he could have the gene. Sam later tells Jubal that Tyler said he was trying to make a friend, but she’s not sure she buys it. She wants him to go back to therapy—Jubal isn’t so sure, since he wants him to own his mistake—and for his father to go with him. After wrapping up the case, ...

In “Remorse,” the president of the NY Fed is gunned down trying to help a woman in peril, leading to the team racing to find the killer and the missing woman. “That in itself is a sort of tragic and relatable entry point into a very exciting and very disturbing episode,” Sisto tells TV Insider. FBI returned after nine months off the air on Tuesday evening, and it did so with quite the season premiere.
FBI Season 6, Episode 1, forced the team to face losing one of its own, sending the narrative in a compelling and dramatic direction.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, the first new episode of the year focused on the aftermath of a bus explosion that killed countless innocent people.
It was all hands on deck for the team as Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) told Tiffany (Katherine Renee Kane) she needed to be more assertive.
Little did Jubal know that his advice set the stage for one of his team members to perish.
Sadly, it paved the way for Hobbs (Roshawn Franklin) to be killed while undercover.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the FBI: International Season 3 premiere “June.”] The good news: The entire Fly Team survived that explosion that took out their offices. The bad news: FBI: International Season 3 still begins with them saying goodbye to everyone. In the aftermath of the explosion and tracking down the man who planted the bomb (and getting him to turn on his boss), the agent most injured is Raines (Carter Redwood), who saved Powell’s (Greg Hovanessian) life and ended up pinned under rubble; it’s touch and go, and it looks like he might lose his leg, but thanks to a call from Jubal (FBI‘s Jeremy Sisto) to get a surgeon to the hospital, he just has a long recovery ahead of him before he’ll be back out in the field. And that’s a good thing, since Jamie (Heida Reed) decides she’s leaving and transferring to the Washington field office. Though Scott (Luke ...

Looking ahead to FBI Season 6, Episode 1, it sounds like he’s trying to balance his work life and his duties as a father.
Of course, he will be around more than usual since VanSanten has joined FBI: Most Wanted as a series regular.
As we know from that show, the cases take the team nationwide, meaning that Scola has to find that balance faster than typical parents.
We don’t know whether we’ll see Nina’s decision to join Most Wanted on-screen and what kind of conversations it started between the couple.

The Tony-nominated Waitress arrives in theaters on December 7, 2023 to kick off a five-day series of screenings. Starring composer-lyricist Sara Bareilles, the Broadway musical is based on Adrienne Shelly’s 2007 film that starred Keri Russell, Nathan Fillion, and Jeremy Sisto.
The production entered the record books as the first Broadway musical with a top creative team comprised of four women – book by Jessie Nelson, music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, choreography by Lorin Latarro, and direction by Diane Paulus. Opening in 2016, the Brooks Atkinson Theatre hosted 1,500+ performances of the musical, making it one of the longest-running shows in recent history.
Bareilles says Waitress changed her life, and composing the music was a gift.
“The film is funny and dark and feminine and irreverent and emotional and so very, very musical,” said Bareilles, recalling watching Shelly’s film for the first time. “I found a piece of myself in each of these...

It’s not the small town diner setting that makes Last Straw – the feature directorial debut by Alan Scott Neal – stand out, though it does give it a fresh angle for its home invasion thrills. It’s the unique narrative structure that not only leans into the prevalent feeling of rage but reframes the visceral violence that ensues. While Last Straw ultimately fails to stick to the landing, the commitment to escalating the tension and violence through rage-fueled characters fascinates all the same.
Twenty-year-old Nancy (Jessica Belkin) feels trapped and fed up with her life. Stuck in a transitionary period post-high school, Nancy tries and fails to care for her dead mother’s beloved car and hangs out with her still-in-high-school best pal Tabitha (Tara Raani). Nancy also happens to be bitter about an unwanted pregnancy, which compounds her frustrations with working at her dad’s (Jeremy Sisto) diner as a waitress-turned-manager.
