- Also a successful businessman who was involved in many charitable activities. He's been President of the California Epilepsy Society and made tapes for the Braille Institute's reading for the blind program until his death.
- He and brother Morgan Adams were also real estate developers. Their holdings included the Adams Plaza on Wilshire Boulevard. The firm also contributed a sculpture garden at the YMCA in downtown Los Angeles.
