Seth was born in Fort Jones, California. He graduated from Paso Robles
High School, and after a brief summer session at the Academy of Art
College San Francisco and a brief stint as a comic book illustrator be
began his acting and writing career. Moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to
pursue film and television work.
While working as a set dresser on the film Murder by Numbers (2002),
Seth's conversations with Ryan Gosling convinced him to make the move
to Los Angeles and try his hand at acting.
At the age of 21, he gained 35 lbs to play the 30-year-old "Nick" in Marjorie Bowman's regional production of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?".
Awarded Best Actor for his work in Over the Line (2006), at the 2007 Beverly Hills Shorts Festival.
